Putney Mechanical has installed our serviced our heat pump systems since 2004. They installed our geothermal heat pump system in 2011. They are a top notch heating and cooling mechanical company that have always provided prompt installations and service for our systems. I highly recommend them. Their service technicians such as Adam and Eugene are excellent.

We've been working with Putney Mechanical for nearly 15 years. They installed our geo-thermal system, mini splits and have serviced and repaired things when needed. We always request their service technician, Adam, to do our service work. Appointments are scheduled in a timely manner, Adam always arrives on time and gives us professional service. This is a top notch, reputable company which we highly recommend.

We had issues with our HVAC unit. It is less than 5 years old and still under warranty. Putney had installed the unit during construction. First person they sent out did a cursory inspection and said the thermostats were bad and ordered new ones . A week later a second person came out to do further troubleshooting and replaced only one of the two faulty thermostats. Well maybe a week or so later it failed again A third different tech showed up this time. His name is Adam Slape. And Mr. Slape went through the entire system with a fine tooth comb top to bottom!! Mr. Slape found several issues including faulty installation of the unit. The plenum on the unit had never been secured properly. It was taped in place instead of screwed in place. My unit had been pumping cold air out of the gap left by the faulty installation. No telling how much money was wasted running the unit cooling the crawl space. Mr Slape spent almost 2.5 hours fixing faulty items. The previous tech check the freon and said it was good. However Mr. Slape checked it and it was low. He serviced same. He also found a faulty control board. He came back this morning and replaced it and replaced the second thermostat. I really appreciate his time and his dedication to making everything right. He took the time to explain what he checking and what he was doing. It's really nice these days to find someone of his abilities and work ethic. If any issues happen in the future, I will definitely request Mr. Slape first and foremost. Thank you Adam.

I had an issue with my HVAC unit that three different technicians have tried to solve. Putney sent out their team, who arrived on time, to take a look. They checked some things that others hadn't and found a very simple explanation for my issues with a very simple fix. (There were two wires that were sometimes touching and arching in the compressor.) Everyone else had focused on the unit inside or electricity going to the compressor, not inside it. I'm thankful for their responsiveness and attention to small details and willingness to problem solve outside of the box.

My home was without heat because of a wiring issue. Adam Slape came to the rescue(I highly recommend)! Adam gave me an ETA and was on time. He explained what the issue was and how he planned to fix it. He left my property 40 minutes later and my house is pumping heat. Thanks Adam!!

Unit went on the fritz. Called and left a message after hours. Received a return call and was told in the message they counld have someone out Friday which was fine. Guy called me back "mistakenly" as he said and then preceeded to tell me they didn't he didn't have any openings until Wednesday or Thursday of the next week. Pulled me up by my name or number and saw the last time they did work for me and then proceeded to say where I lived and now all of a sudden now it's kind of far for them and told me I'd be better off finding someone else. Mind you I see one of their guys all the time driving their company vehicle who apparently lives maybe not too far from my area. Unsatisfactory!!!

Blew a fuse on our house HVAC unit and they were out the next day on time and quickly made it all work! Glad they were our installers!!!
