We do not guarantee that listing information (contact details, licensing, certifications, service areas, pricing, or anything else) is current, complete, or accurate. Always independently verify a company’s license, insurance, and standing before hiring them.
Requesting removal or correction
If you are a business owner and want a listing removed, corrected, or updated, contact us at info@besthvaccompanies.com. We will review and respond to legitimate requests.
4. Ratings & AI-Generated Summaries
Star ratings shown on company profiles are aggregated from multiple third-party review platforms — they are not independently verified by us. Any “strengths” or “weaknesses” summaries shown on a company profile are generated automatically by analyzing third-party review text and are not written or verified by a human reviewer.
This content is provided for general informational purposes only. It may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete, and it is not an endorsement of any company, nor a guarantee of the quality of their work. Use your own judgment and independent research when choosing a contractor.
5. Submitting Content to the Site
If you submit information to us — including through the Add Business, Advertise, or Leave a Review forms — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use, host, reproduce, display, adapt, and distribute that content (including any logos, banners, gallery images, or other material you provide) on the Site and in connection with promoting the Site.
You represent and warrant that you own, or have the necessary rights to submit, any content you provide (including images), and you agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from content you submit that infringes another party’s rights.
6. User Reviews
Reviews submitted through the Site are held for moderation and are only published at our discretion. By submitting a review, you confirm that it reflects a genuine customer experience with the company reviewed, and that it is not false, defamatory, fraudulent, or submitted on behalf of a competitor. We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any review, at any time, for any reason, without notice. Your email address is collected with a review submission for moderation and contact purposes only — it is never published publicly.
7. Advertising & Featured Placements
Companies may pay to appear as a featured or sponsored placement on the Site. Where this occurs, it is clearly presented as a paid placement — appearing as a featured listing does not imply a higher rating, endorsement, or higher quality than non-featured listings.
Billing terms for advertisers:
- Featured placements are billed on a monthly or annual basis (annual billing may include a discount), invoiced directly outside the Site.
- Cancelling requires one month’s advance notice.
- Payments are non-refundable. Cancelling mid-term does not entitle you to a refund for the remaining period, and your featured placement will continue to run for the remainder of the period you’ve paid for.
- We will only remove a featured placement early if the underlying business location itself has closed or ceased operations.
8. Intellectual Property
“Best HVAC Companies,” the Best HVAC Companies name and logo, and besthvaccompanies.com are used by us in commerce; we have not filed a trademark registration for these marks at this time, and our rights in them are common-law rights only. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names appearing on the Site — including the names and logos of listed companies and any third-party listing or review platforms referenced on the Site — are the property of their respective owners, and their appearance on the Site does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of the Site.
Other than user-submitted content (see Section 5), the design, layout, and original content of the Site are owned by us and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
9. Third-Party Links
The Site contains links to third-party websites, including the websites of listed HVAC companies. We don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Linking to a company’s website is not an endorsement.
