The technician arrived in the first 30 minutes of the 3-hour window. He checked the AC unit, which is on the roof of a 3-floor condo unit, and also checked the inside AC unit. He diagnosed the problem of a dirty indoor evaporator coil. He cleaned it on the spot, which took 90 mins. He didn't charge me for the diagnosis time, and the whole job cost $202.50. (I had an estimate from another contractor of $425.) The technician brought and wore booties in my condo to keep the floor clean. He also brought a small vacuum and vacummed and cleaned the area after he was done. He was professional, courteous and seemed to know what he was talking about when I asked him questions about the AC. I have worked with several other AC contractors, but have never had an experience like this with someone who was on time, professional, efficient and offered as good of value for the money. I will definitely be using Affordable Heating & Cooling again.

What a great service provider! I am very pleased with Affordable Heating and Cooling. Our air conditioner stopped working yesterday and our regular provider could not come out until some time next week, so I called Affordable after reading their reviews on Angie's List. They were able to get someone out within two hours of my call. Dave was our office contact, and he figured out how to fit us into the schedule asap. He kept us informed as to when we could expect the technician as well. Eric was our technician. He was professional and clearly knew exactly how to figure out the issue. He identified that the motor was the issue and brought me the part to show me the problem. The Affordable team was then able to ascertain that the part was under warranty and found a replacement that Eric was able to drive and pick up within an hour. The part was replaced and we have cold air blowing throughout our home once again. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are going to be our new heating and cooling service provider.

Had them come out for a furnace tuneup and to get a second opinion about some things relating to our older furnace that another company had told us needed to be replaced/repaired. Technician was honest, very good at explaining what he was doing and readily answered questions I had.

They came when they said would and fixed the problem in a short amount of time by replacing a faulty igniter in the furnace.

It went very well. I've had Affordable do work for me in the past, and have always been satisfied; an excellent company to deal with. A service tech., Keith arrived, on time (he was actually a little early) and assessed the problem with the furnace, fixed it very quickly and professionally. There was a problem with the igniter mechanism, it was dirty and needed cleaning. Keith was a very professional person, knew exactly what to do and did it. Furnace works like a charm now.

Affordable Heating and Air went above and beyond what I was expecting. They were conscientious of the cold coming and wanted to make sure the furnace was functioning in time so I would have heat during the cold. When I had a problem with the furnace they came out right away. They were patient and worked with us as the install came in stages throughout our remodel. They listened to our concerns and addressed them with friendliness. Their employees were efficient and had great attitudes. I would not hesitate working with them again.

Affordable Heating and Cooling installed a new furnace, A/C, Humidifier, and Air purifier for us. They even installed the Nest thermostat we bought online. It was a wonderful experience. Ryan provided great options and advice in what our home needed. Everything Ryan said they would do his crew did. Chris, Eric, and Eric did a great job and completed all the work in one day with time to spare. They cleaned up after the job was complete. We are so impressed by their work. You can’t beat the 10 year warranty they offer on parts AND labor which he gives to you in a nice binder at the end. Ryan provided all the rebates for us to mail, which couldn’t have been simpler. I can’t say enough good things about this company. I highly recommend Affordable Heating and Cooling.

Fine. We were pleased with the results.

They worked pretty well and knew what they were doing. They were a good company. I don't live at that residence anymore, my renter was handling it. I paid for the bill, and it was a buy one, get one free A/C deal. The price was one of the big reason I choose them. It took a bit of follow up for me, and I had to initiate the follow up, but once I did they were pretty quick about getting things scheduled. Trying to book them through Angie's List didn't work so well.

They are a genuine group. There is no hype. I respected their information, and it seemed to check out.

There was a special going with Angie's List. It was a slightly different unit that Angie's List was advertising, but they still gave me the discount. I have not had any difficulties with it. It appears to be a first rate situation. Their punctuality was right on the money. We have had a lot of different people over the years, and they were a cut above.

One of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider. Reasonable estimate, on-the-job when they said they would be, work done beautifully--I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Very good service

It was a bumpy start (first tech mis-diagnosed the problem) but I'm giving these guys A's across the board because the owner - upon learning of the initial mis-diagnosis guaranteed to have a tech out the next day and to deduct the cost of the service call from the overall bill. He had a new tech out the next day, who actually called because he was available earlier than anticipated. He spent quite a while and was able to find the problem, came back with parts and had it fixed before I was home from work. The bill came and the owner made good on his promise. VERY satisfied!

Great job, they were ontime & they were able to get my air conditioning running; & never had issues since then; & will hire them again.
