Affordable Arctic Air

Went great! My heat went out on a Sunday, I called and he was at my house within an hours time. A++++++ Company!!!! Very professional. I would highly recommend.

I have a home on Watts Bar Lake and live out of state most of the time. Friends were using my place at the lake this summer (2015) when one of the days, a bad electrical storm came through and took out the AC system. Found Jeff on Angie's List and called him late on a very hot Saturday afternoon. Jeff was able to make time after his already long day (and a few more repair calls still to finish) and came out 2 hours later to the lake house near Rockwood. He was able to quickly diagnose the problems (blown fan motor and several fuses), made the repairs quickly, the did a checkout of the entire system. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Jeff was a good communicator as I had several conversations on the phone with him before, during and after the repair - which was helpful as I was in another state. Had a "knowledgeable" neighbor there to let Jeff in to the house, and he confirmed that Jeff did very good work. I will definitely call on Jeff again for both annual maintenance and emergency repairs.  <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />I have found Angie's List so far to be very helpful in finding good companies/folks who provide services in the Rockwood TN area as I am new to the area and don't know who is good and who is not. In the last 6 months have had good results using 3 different services from Angie's List including Jeff at Affordable Artic Air, a pest control service, and a handi-man. Well worth my subscription so far. <br />

There were a couple of problems at the same time, and they failed to fix the small problems. I had to fix the thermostat myself later on. Their prices are compatible with other companies.

They were fast and very informative. They clean up well after themselves. I was very happy.

They showed up on time; one team looked over my current unit while another quoted a new unit at my request. I felt that the quote was a little high but they were professional and not too pushy; usual sales pitch then a quick oh by the way there is a rebate if you get it done by such and such. However nothing past that; they went on their way and have not pushed the issue since: I decided to wait on a new unit due to the positive report on the old one. <br />
