Smoak's Comfort Control

Payed $220 to have a hole put in the wall and didn't find the leak. Prices unreasonable, save yourself a headache.

I would highly recommend them to anyone, they always do a great job, and they even service after work hours. They are very qualified to install Trane Air Conditioners, and Smoak's were certified installers.

They broke the molding. They would not accept responsibility for the damage. It will all have to be replaced and painted. Very unprofessional. I left two messages for the owner twice no response back. No one came back out to inspect the damages.

I have had several experiences with Smoak's over a number of years. Mostly A/C. I have a contract with them. All is good.

I have a contract with them. They come out twice. They check and clean clean the units and all that stuff. They do it once for the summer and once for the winter.

Mr. Jones provided excellent service and the followup report is thorough. Price was reasonable for the quality of service. This is my first time using this service because an earlier quote for non-warrenty work was exceptionally high, a cause for concern.

Smoak's has done great work on various projects in our house over the last few years. They have always been prompt and professional. They are our go to plumber/hvac company whenever we have a job or emergency.

They are do to come again. We have a contract with them, so you pay by the year. It's a standard inspection and cleaning contract. We have used them for 3 years and they have come 6 times. It's all good. In fact friends of ours, used them to get a whole new HVAC system put in and they did a comparison of 3 companies and ended up using Smoak's as well. The workers were excellent and left the area immaculate. They are very professional, they know what they are doing, they come on time, it is very easy to schedule an appointment, which living in Charleston, South Carolina in the summer for HVAC it is real important and there is usually a long line and since we have a contract you get bumped to the front of the line. That is important to us when it is very hot.

The technician, Javon Jones, arrived on time, having called ahead by 20 minutes to say that he was on his way. He had all the necessary equipment and had a friendly, professional attitude as he went about his business checking fluids, electrical components, etc.

Professional and courteous, however, I asked about cleaning the dryer on the outside of the house and was told to buy a brush and clean it myself. I  feel this should have been included in the service. <br />

He arrived as scheduled and did a great job servicing the ac unit. Seemed highly competent and was very efficient. <br />

They were good. They were very knowledgeable and I have used them again.

It is so much better. He is just one of the best. Mike was great. He was very personable but not a talker talker. He worked probably for six or seven hours to fix the problem. He was cheerful and nice as could be. I cannot say any more good things.

There were no problems scheduling the appointment.  They arrived on time, did the work as stated within the deal and there were no issues throughout working with them.

The problem was readily determined.  The replacement of the bad part was done quickly with a part on the repair truck. <br />

Prompt with estimate. and informative on tankless systems.  Phone calls prior to arrival.  Friendly, courteous, thoughtful.  Thought we would prefer electric tankless, but with info provided changed our mind.  Great listening skills, answered all our questions, and great communication.  After using the system for a week, we are more than pleased with the performance of the tankless water heater. <br />

.The provider arrived on time and called prior to arrival. I appreciate that they wear cloth coverings over their boots. <br />

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was okay. They ended up missing a pretty major problem that ended up costing us $2,000. They showed up on time but they didn't do a very good job. The price was cheap.

One toilet was fixed successfully, the other was fixed partially.  It was recommended to be replaced. The plumber was very nice and showed me how to check my sink drains myself which I really appreciated.

The work was very well done.  The Smoak’s earned an A for Excellent.  This is the company I will call the next time I need plumbing work.
