Knoechel Heating

I needed my oil furnace checked before winter , spray nozzle changed like I do every yr. But when they arrived they denied me working on my unit because of the home I live in. How rude !!

Jason came out and was very knowledgeable. He helped us choose the correct equipment, provided pros/cons and details on each option. We had multiple quotes and Knoechel was the cheapest. Cheap did not mean poor quality, we got a great name brand unit installed with a very long warranty. Knoechel has a 1 month follow up visit to ensure all is going well. I thought to myself why do this if the system was installed correctly the first time, well they further optimized our heating, I immediately notice a difference, be sure to have the follow up 1 month later. I would hire again

Hired to install furnace. Got upgraded furnace to blow more air into colder areas of house. No difference was felt despite the cost. Called after 3 years for service for strange tar material dripping off pipe. Faulty installation. Said it wasn’t covered and would have to pay to repair. It was an error on their end and they wouldn’t honor that. Going elsewhere to find competency.

Professional and prompt service at a reasonable cost. Would recommend and in fact I look took advantage of their offer for a spring A/C system check in the spring.

Fan belt broke right before scheduled appointment for routine maintenance. Repairman was able to get it working quickly and for a reasonable price.

I use them every year and they are always good.

Twice per year receive regular maintenance on air conditioner and heat pump. They installed a new Lennox system two years ago and worked diligently all day. They did not leave until everything was completed, including a new smart thermostat, in which the technician set up and explained how the system worked. All the technicians are friendly at the time of arrival until they leave. Glad they automatically place booties on their boots before entering our home.

I woke up to find the blower on our furnace was no longer working. The house was very cold and dropping. They were able to fit me in within a few hours, diagnosed the problem quickly, and let me know when they'd be back with the part. The entire thing was fixed within the same day (actually by early afternoon). I apologize for not remember the technicians' names, but they were both friendly and direct with what needed done and the costs of services. I will use them in the future for HVAC issues that pop up.

Knoechel Heating Co. is wonderful. To begin with, Jason, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. He patiently answered every question. He quoted me on three different price points and explained the differences in the equipment at each price point. I had several other companies come out to give me estimates, too. Not only did Jason have a great price but he was the most professional. Lennox is one of the top brands for HVAC systems and their reputation for quality and warranty is well known. The Knoechel crew arrived promptly at the appointed time and I was introduced to each member. The crew was skilled, organized, knowledgeable, professional, quiet, courteous, and efficient. I had a large tool chest in the mechanical room. The crew worked well together and appeared they instinctively knew when another crew member needed a helping hand. I never saw a crew member standing around or wasting time. I was told how long the job would take to complete and it was done on time. They completely cleaned up everything, both inside and outside. The system is working perfectly, is very quiet and is much more efficient than my old system. I would definitely recommend Knoechel Heating Co. to anyone, with the confidence of knowing their installation, service and equipment would be as stellar as mine.

Our A/C failed, and after many dealings with a repair service, we decided not to spend money fixing our 20+ yr old unit. We called Knoechel for an estimate to replace the A/C and go ahead with a furnace replacement as well. Jason came the same day to give us an estimate. This was the hottest week of the year so far, and they managed to get us scheduled two days later for our installs. The installation crew was phenomenal. They were pleasant, polite, knowledgeable, and they did a very professional job with the install. They also were very tidy with their cleanup before they left. I am really, really pleased with this company and its employees.

In general from my experience in talking to others they are a reliable company.

I spent about $7400. After numerous attempts of repairing my existing units I'm not sure if the unit replacement was more cost effective.

Great, the workers were professional, courteous, and respectful.

We've been pleased with them.

They're the ones who put it in originally when we built the house, we continue to use them. They come twice a year, we have a contract with them. They have already contacted us to come and do the winter service. It costs $225 a year, so it's about $100 a visit. We've been using them for 38 years, that's about it, since 1978.

I researched the Lennox Ultimate Comfort System with plans to have it installed in a few years. When hot weather arrived, and our 18-year-old air conditioner failed, it was time to install the Ultimate Comfort System. Several installers were contacted for bids and Knoechel won the job because of their price along with their excellent reputation. Jason came to estimate the job about two hours after I called. He walked down the house, discussed the benefits of the new system and e-mailed the price about three hours later (5 Stars each for Responsive and Helpful). The system was installed several days later and the installation crew was excellent. They arrived on time and were very familiar with the installation since they have installed the system many times before. They worked all day to install the equipment and kept us informed of their progress. At one point, Jim told us they were about to begin brazing as it had the potential to set off the smoke detectors. It didn’t, but it was good to know that if an alarm did go off, we understood why in advance (5 Stars each for Product Knowledge, Installation and Communication). The whole Knoechel team was friendly and professional (5 Stars each for Friendly and Professional). They all knew the equipment, promptly and professionally installed it and provided service that left us as fully satisfied customers.

Woke up to a cold house and no heat.  Called at 7:30, expecting to get an answering machine; however, the office was open.  I explained the problem.  The heating company has cleaned the furnace so they had all the details on hand.  The tech said he had to get the part in Pittsburgh and would come directly.  He was there by 9:30.  By 9:45 he was done.  Excellent work.  Thank you Ryan <br />
