We called for an estimate and were texted almost immediately. We met with Ed, the owner and were very happy with the estimate and we scheduled the replacement right away. The employees that came to do the install were clean, professional and respectful. They explained the steps of the install and completed it in a few areas. They went as far as to put down tarps to protect our floors. The install went flawlessly and we were very happy. The new system is much quieter than the old one. We would recommend them to anyone.

Ed and his team were excellent. Price was very reasonable for the work that was required. They were on time, explained the process as installing to let us know hot water would be turned off, etc. They went over the completed work and cleaned up. Left our garage very clean. At the end of July during the hottest days of the year, I lost BOTH A/C zones at the same time in my home. Needless to say, it was very hot in the house. I called Orange County Mechanical for an estimate after seeing exceptionally high reviews from both Angie's List and Google reviews. The owner, Ed O'Hara, came over the next day, gave me an estimate and literally "walked me through" everything that was needed to do to get the two zones back up, answered all questions, and the complete cost. Since I had a "builders" A/C system over 15 years old, it used freon which is no longer available along with two very inefficient condensers. I needed to replace the whole A/C system. He didn't try to sell things that were not needed, just what was needed to have a practical high efficiency two zone A/C system at an excellent price. Before he had left, he took the time to check the A/C condensers to see if he could get them up and running, at least until he could install the new system. Fortunately, he was able to get one of them running just enough to cool some of the house and he didn't want anything for it. It two days to remove the old equipment from the attic and outside and replace it with a new higher efficient two zone Trane A/C system. He put down floor protectors everywhere, left everything clean upon completion, removed all the old equipment and debris and swept the driveway clean when they were finished. Ed and his workers were very professional and polite throughout the whole time they were installing and removing equipment. Obviously he takes pride in his work and I highly recommend this company to all my friends and family and will be using him again. A job well done!

Ed is wonderful. he's professional, courteous, very clean, explanatory and dealt with my hearing impairment ( i read lips) very well. I totally trust his work and he is now my plumber for all my needs (he also does heating, air conditioning, and chimneys.) very happy.

We needed a new high-efficiency boiler to replace our old one that broke down after seventeen years (of inefficiency). Ed was great to deal with from start to finish. We shopped around, but Ed was the most communicative (with text and calls) and offered the fairest price. Will definitely use Orange County Mechanical again!

We had several power hits on Sunday and when the power stabilized, our outside A/C unit would not start. I called 2 or 3 service companies and left messages as they were closed on Sunday. I got a call back from Orange County Mechanical on Sunday evening and the tech apologized for not being able to get to us that night as he had some more calls to make but could stop by in the morning. The tech showed up at 7:20am on Monday and we had A/C by 8:00am. He had to replace the capacitor in the unit. The service call and parts charges were very reasonable. I will definitely use this company again.
