My furnace died during one of the coldest weeks of the winter, these guys came out within an hour of calling to diagnose the issue. They laid out all of my options and I decided to upgrade to a new furnace. They had it installed the next day! Very responsive, professional and honest team. Appreciated their service.

Jonathan and Alex were nothing short of great. They answered the phone on the 2nd ring, and were extremely polite and professional. They diagnosed the problem quickly and accurately. They sourced out the part, discussed potential cost savings on getting the part in, and came on the day they promised. Even though the part arrived late in the day via UPS, they still came out the same day as promised and had my boiler working within 30 minutes of arrival. After not having a working hot water tank for almost a year this man changed my world by installing a new hot water tank on Saturday. Other companies turned me away, one after another. I was about to give up when I gave Angie's list another try. I can't thank you enough for helping me. This morning I took my first shower in many, many, moons instead of heating water for a make shift shower/bath. I did dishes without having to heat water on the stove. I had an excellent experience with Southern Tier Tech, LLC. Not only was Jim extremely responsive to my service request, arriving early to the appointment to asses my situation, ( a very stressful one as Nyseg had tagged my water heater as not being vented properly and had shut off my gas), he was able to give me a few options that would work ideally for me, and to my great relief was able to schedule my job, (a replacement, relocated water heater, properly vented as per Nyseg),the very next day. Jim was very professional, knowledgable and friendly. He even went above and beyond by contacting Nyseg for their necessary sign off on his work, and I was back online in just a few hours.
