I came home from work and noticed my unit wasn’t producing heat at all. I called every place I could for after hours and no one was able to help me same day, some didn’t pick up and others never called back. After scheduling an appointment with someone else my mom found Mr Chuck and called him while we were on the phone. Mr Chuck was out of town but picked up the call. He wasn’t able to send someone same day but he spend some time over the phone trying to help me the best he could while not being present. In that moment I could tell that he really cared which stood out for me in a major way. I was willing to wait for his service because it felt beyond genuine. Again with him personally being out of town he manage to get someone out to me next day. We found that my motor was and I needed a new. Mr Chuck worked diligently to find me a motor for my unit. He even personally came to my house when he returned from out of town to collect my motor and find the proper part for it as it was a struggle to get. The experience with Mr. Chuck is nothing short of amazing it and he took care of things not as a dollars and cents matter, but as a family matter, He who wanted to see his family member taken care of. Even though the process was a long process, no fault at all to Mr. Chuck. It was amazing and it was worth the wait to know that I was being treated fairly and with care.

I called Chuck’s because I was having problems with my stove. They came out the same day and fixed it for a reasonable price. The technicians are always friendly and informative. For the past 20 years, whenever I’ve had an issue with my appliances or AC, I never hesitate to call Chuck’s!

Great company, first time we called them they were very responsive and came to call quickly. Fixed our heat that day and were very professional and polite. Heat started acting up again about 2 months later and with it being later at night wasn’t sure if we would be able to figure anything out but they called us back right away and talked my husband through some trouble shooting. Can’t say enough nice things. Highly recommend!

Chucks' was sent out to our home via our warranty company after getting the run around from the first company sent out. He is over an hour away (I'm not sure why the warranty company sent him and not someone closer) and is fairly booked up, so we were extra thankful and hopeful when he came out to our house after hours the very next day. He stayed until 9:30 that night working and trying to get our unit at least running through the weekend (it was a Thursday night and he was booked up Friday) and I cannot commend him enough for that. My problem however runs after that. He was supposed to call us to schedule an appointment Sunday for sometime Monday after he checked his schedule. He never called and did not answer my husband's calls that evening. Monday morning he let us know that he was putting in a work order with the warranty company to make sure everything was covered and was ordering his parts to do the repairs and would hopefully be able to come out Tuesday. I wish that had been done Friday, but if you're busy then I guess you're busy and we made no complaints there. Monday night we get a phone call from the warranty company. We needed a thermostat wire replaced and had two options-run it back through the wall like it originally was which would require cutting into sheet rock or run it outside and cover with line hide. The warranty company would cover the sheet rock, but considered line hide cosmetic and would not. The price Chuck's gave them and us for this? $350! That is just for the line hide and the labor to install it, the actual wiring and labor for that was $672. I priced line hide myself and found I could get the supplies we needed for $60. My husband called Chucks first thing Tuesday morning to discuss our options with him. He let Chucks know that we would prefer the sheet rock as it would be the better option all around, but would still consider line hide as an option. He also asked about Chuck's placing the wire and us ordering the line hide ourselves and installing it. At the end of the conversation, on our end it was truly just a matter of we want to get this done as easily and quickly as we can, but we need it to be as inexpensive out of pocket for us as possible. We had come to feel at that point in the previous conversations that Chuck just didn't want the time and work involved with doing the sheet rock, but hoped he would consider it and stand by his work if it was our best option. Chuck however got very argumentative with my husband on the phone and told him they were turning the job down at that point because it was taking up too much of his time and he couldn't "keep" calling the warranty company. We weren't given a chance to consider the sheet rock with him, to look into doing the line hide ourselves or have an explanation as to why that wouldn't work, or a chance to call the warranty company back and try to fight for the (way overpriced) line hide. As soon as he knew that we weren't going to pay the $350 out of pocket, we were no longer worth his time. Now I'm sure I'll get a response on this with an excuse and completely refuting this whole thing. Every other negative review has. I'm also sure if you are local to him and not working with a warranty company, he does good honest work. But if your issue is complicated, will take some time, and you are working with a third party to resolve this-you can skip Chucks. He'll waste your time and then get overly frustrated and cancel on you.

We had the best experience with these guys! When I called at midnight really worried about an HVAC issue in my new home, the person who spoke with me was very reassuring and helpful, which I appreciated. They sent two guys out in the morning who were professional, friendly, and diligent in fixing my HVAC issues. Excellent pricing, value, and customer service all around. I am new to the area and will be using Chuck's for all of my HVAC servicing, maintenance, and repair needs from now on. Could not recommend more!

Chuck came out quickly for the service call and gave his expert opinion right away. Unfortunately, the warranty company, as most will do, delayed his work and I was forced to go another route. Though I was unable to use Chucks services due to my warranty company, I believe Chuck is a great option in the Smithfield area and a stand up business owner.

I have used Chucks in the past and I wouldnt use anyone else,you wont find a more honest and professional company anywhere in eastern North Carolina they are 40 miles from me but there is no one better thats closer.I wrote this review over a year ago and the same applies today,I called Chuck about my propane wall heater and even though its not thier specialty he gave great detailed advice to point me in the right direction.Its hard to find great customer service like this anymore!!! I called late at night for an emergency. We have never used them before. The guy on the phone was so nice and walked me through everything. He offered to come out. He even sent me a text of some filters to get. I will definitely be using them in the future!

To the reviewer who said women should beware, I didn’t get this impression at all. In fact, I got the opposite impression from him. I will absolutely work with Chuck and his team.

I met this company through my home warranty and it was horrible. 1st time chuck cane fix the ac summer 2018 and it went out 3 or 4 weeks later again. When he came this time he had help which the help step on the sheet rock in my bathroom and cracked my ceiling. I had to call chuck so many times it was ridiculous. When he finally came fixed crack in the most sloppiest half-work ever. Now I still have a half fix ceiling and never heard from chuck since the last excuse. He’s a good guy but his business is horrible

Please call Chucks if you’re having problems with AC unit. I had four companies come out and inspect air conditioner unit and told me I needed a new unit. Chuck’s came out within 15 minutes my air condition was up and running. Great service and great people. I will call this company any time for my heating and air. Thank you guys again!!!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Met with Chuck the owner of Chucks Heating and Cooling at my house. This was after having another company come out and try to get me to replace my system. Chuck and his son are very knowledgeable and were able to explain how to get the maximum efficacy out of my A/C unit and that my unit didn't need replacing. They are very trustworthy and honest. I would highly recommend them for any of your A/C needs. Thank you Chuck.

Chuck's saved the day! Came out less than 3 hours after we called, fixed the problem in under an hour and now we have AC again! Super helpful, professional, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. We'll be recommending Chuck's for sure!

We received excellent service . The owner came out on Sunday and fixed our Ac because he knew we were frustrated about going all weekend without air. He went above and beyond to help us after another company came out twice and overcharged us and stil did not fix the problem. Would highly recommend.

He came the next day after being contacted. They found the problem but had to get a part. They got the part and came back the next morning and had the AC unit running by 10:30 in the morning. I will be using Chucks for the cleaning in the fall and spring of my unit .
