Carter's Heating And Air

Our a/c quit working today, late in the afternoon on one of the hottest days so far this summer. We are fairly new to this area and did not know who to call. After googling companies, I settled on Carter’s. Judging by their reviews, they have a great reputation. Their serviceman, Zack, told me it would be after 5:00 before they can get here and the after hours service charge would apply. I asked them to please come. The longer we thought about it, we decided there would not be able to repair it today, so we would just call them back and have them come in the morning. But when I called Zack back to tell him, he said he was in Tupelo, about to head my way and he assured me in his kind voice that they have a lot of parts on his van and there was a good chance they could repair it tonight, judging by my description of the issue. Well, he fixed it in just a few minutes! It was a capacitor and he had a replacement on his van. Cool air never felt so great! Zack and Alex, his air duct man, are two of the nicest guys you will ever meet…and now Carter’s Heat & Air Conditioning is the only company we will call! Thank you so much Zack and Alex!

Sam and his helper were on time, very polite, and seemed to be very knowledgeable. They fixed a nagging problem that had existed since the system was installed 5 years ago. Others had tried but simply could not figure it out. He even offered to come back for no charge if I was not satisfied. Obviously I am very pleased

Sam Carter was very responsive on a Saturday morning. He was transparent about his rates. Once he arrived, he diagnosed the problem within a few minutes. While we were waiting for a part for the permanent solution, Sam provided an acceptable work around to get the heat pump working again.

Sam has always been quick to respond and super professional. Helping us out in all kinds of situations and predicaments in a reasonable manner and with an eye for detail too. Hard to find that characteristic these days. Would 100% recommend to anyone.

I called Mr. Sam at 4:45 in the evening and he was at my house within 15 minutes!! He was very professional and in NO time had my air fixed! Awesome customer service !! Could not brag on this man enough and his company enough !

2 men arrived and had no idea what they were doing. After about an hour they decided to take apart the entire fireplace insert and lay it out on my floors and rug. They took apart the wires and logs. Finally decided they couldn't fix it and just laid all the wires and logs in the insert. Couldn't even get the logs back on the grate. It took me an hour to steam clean the soot out of my rug and mopped my floor 3 times. Now we have to pay their bill plus hire someone to fix their mess and buy an entirely new insert since they took apart the electrical. Do not reccomend!

Our AC stopped working overnight! I called Carter’s and he came over on a SUNDAY after church! He had the part with him to fix our AC and got us up and running! Highly recommend him and his prices are REASONABLE

Sam has maintained our hvac for years. He has always been prompt and reliable. He is knowledgeable and very honest in his transactions. I would not hesitate to recommend him for hvac services.

We had an upstairs a/c unit barely cooling and I made the call for help after 5. Mr Carter called me back quickly and said he would be around the next afternoon and he was. After checking he was thorough in explaining what was happening, what was needed and what could wait. He not only had replacement part with he cleaned both upstairs and downstairs units outside. The bill was reasonabe and we are comfortable. Call Carter’s!

Samuel Carter put in a huge walk in cooler for me at my farm,never had a problem with it .Always had it checked out at the beginning of blueberry season.He also has worked on my house always called me back and has always done a great job. Very nice ,good listener and alwaysdid a professional job

Mr. Carter does fantastic work! We own a restaurant and residential rental. He keeps all of our heating and air going plus works on all of our coolers and freezers at our restaurant. He always shows up very quickly and charges a fair price.

This company is.local. They are professional and were able to find a good quality product at a reasonable price. The entire project was completed in a week. I will definitely recommend them to others.
