Got my outside electric box replaced. Justin and the crew did an amazing job! I would work with them again! I got the owners number from a family member of mine, he set me up with an appointment quickly!!! Justin showed up within the hour. Great company.

we cannot say enough bad things about the experience. their tech bumped our condensation drain & caused it to leak into our house which required floors to be ripped up. they admitted fault & yet took no responsibility to remedy the problems they created — let alone the issues they left in our hvac unit itself! a disaster from start to finish.

AJ the technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He was actually early for the appointment which never happens with contractors. He explained the problem with our heating unit and patiently answered all of our questions. He did not attempt to sell us anything that wasn’t needed for the repairs. I would recommend Gallagher Mechanical to anyone who is in need of HVAC services.

Came out, told me my compressor was dead then proceeded to spec out two new units (I have two separate HVAC systems) even though only one was broke. Charged me $152 and never sent me or called me about an estimate for a new system. So I paid a guy an hour of work to never get back to me. They did not forget to send a bill.

I purchased a home with a 26yr old AC unit. Gallagher Heating came to St. Louis all the way from Pacific. Although they had to come out 4x, bc unit would work for awhile, then stop, and even though it was 96 degrees for a week, they did not hesitate, nor charge me for the extra trips and the AC is now working great. I very much appreciate their dedication and service and understanding. These guys are good guys! Thank you!

I would not recommend. They installed a brand new unit in my new home incorrectly. I have to struggle to put a filter in the unit due to a pipe in the way. The unit needs to sit up a little higher to get the filter in. When I complained they told me that they were instructed to take the old core out and replace it with a new one. Well common sense would tell you that its not installed right if the filter has to be twisted and shoved to get the filter in. They wanted to charge me a service fee and also charge me $200 plus to fix the problem. That's just wrong and I would never recommend them to anyone!!!!

Do not recommend. Scheduled a service Call and the Technician never showed up. I called the company to relay the service failure. Was told they'll call me back and guess what, they never called back. I called Lakebrink heating and air, they came out same day, very professional, reasonably priced and efficient.

If there service is like there drivers, professionally they lack alot. Cutting people off an running off the road just reach an exit in a couple miles is very unprofessional least to say dangerous.

Came out the end of last summer said they ran a pressure check and had to add Freon to a new system then I turn it on this year and it’s froze from outside in. Tried calling them mailbox full and no way to leave a message disappointed to spend over $400 for a pressure check and Freon and no answer to have them come out and figure out if my system checked out ok why am I low again

I initially only received a text on what the original work would cost. After we added some additional work we only received invoices after the work started. I started getting nervous about how much this was gong to cost and had to ask several times for a final figure for completion of the work we wanted. We finally were told that to complete the project it would be an additional $1000, $1120 and then $160 parts. This was never given to me in writing. I unfortunately didn't make him put this final bid in writing. He then came up with a $3959 invoice and told me it would be an additional $2580 to complete the work. This work started in January and we are now at the end of March and it is not completed. I told him he had given me a final bid and that what he was charging was not right. They also took off days to go work on other projects and called in sick numerous days. We were very patient because we felt we should give them the benefit of the doubt. They tore up tile in my kitchen to fix the subfloor and now that has never been reinstalled, I'm left with an unfinished bathroom, floors not installed, doors not installed, and they won't return my texts or emails. He was always bad about not giving me figures and paperwork to back up what work was being done and the cost. I reviewed the invoice and there is work that we paid for and not has not been completed. We are having to bring in other workers to complete what they did not finish. Work was almost $4000 more than what he quoted. I then called the owner and spoke with him about the problems. He said he would talk with the foreman and get back with me. I sent an email saying I needed a response within a week since this had gone one for a month. He never responded nor did the foreman. I had to go hire another contractor to help finish some of the work and still seeking a reputable contractor to finish the rest of it.

39 days after Gallagher came to my house and replaced my capacitor, my AC began doing the same thing. The fan was blowing but no cold air. I contacted a different company this time. Their tech came out and told me it was my capacitor. I explained I just had that replaced 39 days ago. The tech gave me the capacitor and stated it was not a new part Gallagher had put in the ac unit. The capacitor Gallagher had put in was all banged up, bulging on top and the label was wearing off. Also, there was writing on it. When I spoke with Mike, at Gallagher about this, he said the writing was the part number. I don't know about that but it seems the part number would have been on the box it came in, if it was new, or on the label. After speaking with Mike, he did refund my money after I returned the capacitor to him. <br />

They did a good job and system works perfect now. It was really cold the day they did the new furnace and they did not take any breaks but since so cold out they had to come back to do Freon. when temp got over 70 degrees they came back and filled Freon. furnace and air work great. <br />
