We are new to Cameron and our furnace was on it's last leg during the cold winter hit we recently endured. This team was out the same day and were able to put a new furnace in the next day! They were a definite GOD send for my family! Prices were competitive, Schindler's was ON TIME, and answered all of my questions twice until I understood fully about my new system. Schindler's were professional yet down to Earth leaving me with an impression that they love what they do providing a service to our community and surrounding areas. It was a pleasure doing business with this team! Highly recommend them!

Honest Review: The Good, the Not-So-Good, and the Good Again. Being new to rural Missouri, we've found it difficult to get in touch with companies—or even get a call back. John was the first to respond and easily the most communicative. I called him several times, and he was always friendly and quick to reply. They offered a fair price and got the materials to install an entirely new HVAC system under our home, including: Two 40' trunk lines One 19' trunk line One 29', two 14' trunks Fourteen small rounds to vents They also determined we could remove a 42' trunk line to improve airflow, based on our 2.5-ton AC unit — which was a great improvement. They came out with a team of three. Aaron was excellent — experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. Ashton was new to the company, but sharp, respectful, and hard-working. Some summer hires also helped finish the job the next day, but unfortunately, their work didn’t meet the same standard. Some instructions from Aaron weren’t followed correctly. When I reached out to John and showed him a photo of the issue, he said they’d fix it right away — and they did. Aaron and Ashton came back out promptly. The first thing Aaron did was apologize for not double-checking the work done by the summer help. He took full ownership and made it clear they were going to make it right. We had a great conversation about the difference between a "job" and someone's home. Aaron agreed — if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right. And that’s exactly what they did. They corrected the issues, were polite, professional, and easy to talk to. Aaron and Ashton both went the extra mile, and I truly appreciate their effort. John is a good ol’ salty fella — and I like him. I appreciate the time, communication, and accountability they showed. They listened to a concern from a customer and, instead of making excuses, they made it right. Immediately. “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right.” I’ll absolutely be calling them again for future needs, and I’ll confidently recommend them to anyone needing their knowledge and expertise.

I had a guy come last week said it was the filter and never looked at anything, said he put the system in. Issue happened again and this time they sent Coly, he explained everything and actually FIXED the issue!!! Thank you Coly, you are fantastic at your work and your customer service!!!

Would never recommend a man who didn’t show up and when he came he gave us a great unit but failed to replace the furnace and rigged it to work we have a 3 ton unit with a 2 ton furnace. We paid him $4,600 for him to scam us out of correct HVAC system. Never again. And John whatever else money you wanted from us you will not be getting. Hope you’re happy with scamming people.

AC went out at the lake. Needed local help for the repair/replace and bi annual service calls. John Schindler and his team were prompt with service despite the high temps for everyone and replaced the furnace and AC at a fair price in short order. His team was great with the install!

Our furnace went out on a Sunday and they came Monday, fixed 1 part and but had to order the other part. They fixed the furnace so it would work until they got the other part which was installed on Friday. I've known John for years and he is honest and does right by you. The young men who work for him are so nice. They knew what they were doing too. I would highly recommend John and his crew.

Schindler sent a teenager to repair my furnace. Said circuit board was bad. Didn't get back with me about cost for 2 days when I called them again. Schindler said he would get me a quote for a new furnace, that was a week ago! The tech was rude to me and my dog! Called another company and there is nothing wrong with the circuit board. Just a blower fan motor. Will not be using them again. So disappointed!

Hands down the best HVAC/service company in Cameron and surrounding area!! I moved to town in summer of 2018 and had a problem with my AC unit not cooling on a house I had just purchased. Did a Google search for HVAC companies in Cameron to try to get someone out to take a look on a Saturday in July and Schindler's was the only one who answered their phone. John showed up in about 2 hours and got my under sized unit (that he didn't install) cooling within a matter of an hour or two for only a service call charge plus the few pounds of refrigerant. Fast forward to 2020, we did an addition which required replacement of existing HVAC system as well as 2 other complete new systems, duct work and all along with wall mounted Mini Split system. Schindler was the only HVAC company that could figure out the complex ducting system that our new construction required. I have recommended Schindler's to at least a dozen others in town and everyone has been more than satisfied with every aspect of how they conduct business. Hopefully we don't need any HVAC repairs in the near future, but if we do, I know we are covered with Schindler's. Being a service business owner myself, I truly appreciate John's knowledge and expertise as well as the others he has working with him!! I tried to give 6 stars but it only went to 5.

Call was made after hours, and John answered with pleasant response and stated a repairman would be to our home at 8:30 the next morning. AND he WAS here! Great communication from the owner and repairman. Diagnosed the problem and gave us options for repairs and completed the work in just 3 hours. These are the guys here in Cameron! Couldn't ask for any better service. WILL use them again.

Called two weeks before hottest weather to ask for maintenance checkup quote & ask a few questions. The guy that answered was unprofessional & rude. He acted like it was a chore to talk to me & said he would call back. I never heard back. If you are too busy or do not want new paying customers, stop answering your phone or simply explain you are too busy & can't on any more jobs. If you don't want to travel to Lawson, put that in your website & that you only want returning local business. Trust me, I am sure who I called and how rude he was. I understand busy, but I do not understand such a bad attitude. Please and thank you as well.

If I could give negative stars I would, highly unprofessional and insulting, we had an emergency and they told us it would likely be the next day and they would call before coming, so we had someone else come out from another company, while the technician was working they pulled up and spoke to him then drove off, I was working so they called my wife and yelled at her demanding we pay a fee even though they came unannounced and DIDN'T DO A THING! then hung up on her as she was explaining her side. I highly highly recommend going to anyone else.

I had a good experience with them. My geothermal unit was blowing cold air. I called and left a message for them. 1. He called back within the hour and got a description of the problem. 2. He told me they could come out the following day. That worked for me. 3. He showed up when he said he would. 4. There were 2 problems with my unit, he and his associate fixed both issues. 5. Was very friendly. This is an example of how a business should be run. I'll definitely use them for my future needs.

John Schindler doesn't know me, but on a hot Sunday afternoon he responded to a friend's house to repair his central air. This particular friend is Vietnam War veteran and is on Hospice care in his due to COPD. Not only did John fix air which took both labor and parts, John refused to accept any payment for the repair. Schindler HVAC just went into my phone, for the guys to call.
