Leaving two stars because the A/C was eventually fixed. However, it took almost 2 months. The first compressor they ordered from the supplier took a couple weeks to deliver. It turned out to be defective. The second one took another 2 weeks. That one also turned out to be defective. The third one took another 2 weeks. But that one worked. So the two stars isn't for the fact that the compressors were defective, it is really that they order them one at a time and don't keep any in stock. So when a defective one comes in the customer is without A/C for another few weeks. I would have been more understanding if they were willing to give a small discount for the inconvience. However, they refused to give even a small discount when I asked. I would not recommend them. Find a company that keeps parts in stock.

My neighbor made a statement that they charged her $500 for a WiFi thermostat which was the wrong one for her unit. They must come back and install the proper one hopefully this time!!

Absolutely Professional ! They replaced my indoor and outdoor unit . They kept the same price they gave me a year ago and came in with in two days to replaced my unit . Reilly and John were terrific !

I contacted 5 Star a few weeks ago pertaining to a possible Main Feed water leak at my daughter's second home in the Pines. Prior to contacting 5 Star, I did contact two other plumbing contractors..one took just about a week to return my call and the other...well I am still waiting. I called 5 Star about 10:30 am and by 12:30pm their technician, Josh was at the house to assess the situation. Josh's ability to quickly assess the situation and provide an estimate was impressive. The next day, Josh arrived to make the repairs...a new main line from the meter to the house. He advised that it would take two days to complete the work, which he did in a very professional manner. I am retired now, but my career was in automotive repair service and I fully understand the elements of customer service. No doubt about it, 5 Star, and it's people, sit at the very top !!

The evening of Jan 1st with a house full of people, we had a plumbing problem. 5 Star was the only one to call back the next day after leaving messages with about 5 companies! I would like to give a big shout out to Josh, Caleb, Matt, Joe and Joey.. You guys were all great. So knowledgeable, professional and very responsive to our calls and texts . I used 5 Star Plumbing, Heating and Cooling because my heat was not turning on and I’m so glad I did! They came out promptly and inspected my furnace, only to tell me that my “inducer motor” was cracked and leaking water. They informed me that the part was under warranty and once it was ordered, they’d install it as soon as it arrived. Riley was the technician who handled everything and I could not have been happier. I thought I’d be in my house freezing for a few days before the part arrived, but the next morning he called and said they had gotten the part and would be out that afternoon! He showed me where the leaking had occurred and proceeded to install the new motor. He then made sure my house was toasty warm before he left. Riley was a pleasure to work with…very knowledgeable, eager to please, friendly and courteous! I am very thankful to he and 5 Star!

I couldn't be more pleased with Joe, the owner, Riley and Johnny, the installation crew and everything about 5 Star! I purchased a new HVAC system from 5 Star that included a heat pump and air handler. The price was very fair compared to 3 other quotes I received. Riley and Johnny were timely, professional and went above and beyond what was required for a basic removal and new equipment installation. Riley found stechy duct connections with air leaks, which he corrected, added supports to the trunk line and air handler, both of which should have been there, but weren't. I would, and will recommend 5 Star to firend, family and anyone needing HVAC service, equipment or repairs. My system died and 5 Star, though not the original installers, were here the next day to try and service/ diagnose what the issue was. Three days later, I had a quote in hand and they installed the new system the very next day! Great job by all!

Just recently replaced my heat pump and selected 5 Star after getting two other estimates. Not only was there price good but the tech's and entire installation went very smooth. Would highly recommend 5Star to all! Getting them to fix my gas fireplace next!

After having a few local companies come to my home to give me an estimate on the replacement of my HVAC unit, 5 Star was top notch!! Timely, knowledgeable, professional, and just down right awesome! The gentlemen that came to replace my unit worked their butts off and were extremely professional! I was overly impressed with the service they provided. Highly recommend 5 Star! Kevin was AMAZING! Excellent workmenship and customer service was incredible. I had to have my plumping redone and both bathrooms demo and updated. It took a few months due to other issues (getting someone to do the tile) and Kevin (and Joey) was always understanding and willing to work with me around the issues. Request Kevin if you have the option!!

I called about a big leak under my kitchen sink. 5 Star sent someone out within hours. Jessie did a great job, he was very professional, found that the connections to my sink drains were loose, so he fixed that and found another compression nut that needed tightening. Now there is no gross putty around my sink drains, no leaks and I am a very happy customer. I will definitely use 5 Star again when I need a plumber! Thanks Jessie!

The team at 5 Star were great! We had a couple emergency plumbing issues (2 different times) and they were very responsive. The technicians were honest and went out of their way to get the work completed in time for our vacation season.

I use 5 Star Plumbing for all of my OC ppty's. I always get in touch with someone the first time and there is never a ridiculous wait for a repair. We stay with 5 Star and Joe because he is prompt, RETURNS CALLS, and their quality of work is fantastic. If I'm not able to be there (rentals), I get before/after pictures of repair. His team is thorough and courteous. Highly recommend.

I moved here from Maryland and was referred by my last great Heat/AC company, Thomas E Clark. I had a complete unit replacement and the service and warranty were second to none. The follow up was professional and complete as well. My bills are very low due to the efficiency of the recommended unit. I would highly recommend 5 Star for repairs and replacements!

I had a positive experience with 5 Star while scrambling to find someone to fix the plumbing at a rental property that I was selling out-of-state (MD). They were responsive, thorough and provided detailed estimates of the work performed. I highly recommend 5 Star and wish they were closer to me (in VA).

I would recommend 5 star plumbing service. The whole team is amazing. We had A/c issue for almost 5 months and our management VACASA could not solve it. Immediate response (on a weekend), fair pricing (of course we compared others) Met every expectation from proposal to installation. The staff wowed us! Survey by sales, then proposal, then office staff scheduling & then the install team. All professional, polite & knowledgeable. WE highly recommend 5 Star!

I was told when scheduling this appointment that the plumber would come and look to see what the issue was and that would be $75. They would then tell me how much it was to fix the issue and ask if I wanted to continue. We were having issues with our hot water heaters working. He showed up, ran a hose out of the hot water heater, said it was working properly and we need to call the original plumber who installed the piping to fix the problem. He charged us $175. He did not do any repairs or quote anything first. He did no actual repair work. He charged us $100 to run a hose and tell us to call the original plumber. I then called customer service and they asked me what I wanted them to do. I was told the owner will look at the invoice. I don’t expect a call back from them because she didn’t even ask my name. If they have office policies then all customer service reps should be aware of them and not make it misleading to customers. I will not be using this company again and if you do, be aware that their customer service people aren’t truthful and don’t really care when you call. Update: If you can’t tell by the owners response, they really are awful with customer service. He never had the decency to call me back and put it on me to call him again. Just again shows this is not a company you want to work with.
