Beard Heating & Cooling

First time ever needing an HVAC company, and it’s safe to say I will never call anybody else. Replaced our gas furnace, and added central air. Replaced all ductwork, and insulated the attic. New thermostat. The ladies in the office were great with communicating. The guys working showed up within the given time frame all 3 days they were working. They were very polite and respectful. Made sure to clean up any mess they had made. After the work was done I noticed a gas leak, called Vera and she had someone out there that evening, around 5:30-6pm. Just had to tighten a fitting. Everything runs amazing. We’re very glad we chose this company, and will use them for all our future needs. Their prices also can’t be beat. Very very fair pricing for the amount of work they did.

Called very late on a Friday afternoon (4:15pm). They were still extremely responsive and had someone out to fix a water heater issue before 5pm. Super appreciative of the attention, care, and quick fix on the problem. We will definitely use Beard again.

The tech arrived 2 hrs early. I was going to cancel as the heating was working and I had to leave. I explained the plumbing was fixed and that seems to have corrected the issue with the heating, most likely the condensate line. I asked if he thought he should take a look to verify it was working as the plumber had said there was a light on the hvac unit. I left him with my elderly mother. Later, I receive a call that he's messing with the thermostat and trying to change my settings. I asked him multiple times to leave it and I will set it. Later I get a bill for over $160. It's paid and I won't be calling this company for service. If you want a company to squeeze your home for as much money as they can, this is the perfect heating and cooling company for you. The bill had a lovely note regurgitating the info I'd given the tech. Lovely.

They installed the HVAC system with our new home build. Did a great job then and have continued to have great service with some add ons we have had since we moved into our new home I have been amazed at how they have gone above and beyond to take care of their customers. Will be signing up for a service contract this spring., as I trust them to keep our system running smoothly for years to come.

Thanks to Beard heating and cooling for taking care of my wife's 94 year old grandmother. After a local company tried to rip her off and sell her a new system the guys at Beard went in and fixed what they had mess up and got all work done for a great price. They are a company you can trust and will do a fantastic job. I highly recommend.

Great company and great people! My poor wife was home with our babies while I was at work and of course the AC goes out on a very hot day. Beard Heating & Cooling not only came out right away (during the late evening), but they were very knowledgeable on the problem and fixed it right away. They took great care of my family and I know they will do the same for you. Can't thank then enough

I’ve been getting my service from this company for a few years now, about time I wrote a review. They are always very thorough and do their jobs super well. I’ve never has any issues with them. Sure, they may run a little late from time to time, but I think that’s just the nature of the H/C business. You’re going to get that anywhere. Anyway, they have always done an excellent job of taking care of our heating and cooling units and I have nothing but good things to say about them.

We have used Beard Heating for a number of years now. Every time the issues was fixed and never had to have them back to redo any of the repairs. This past week, we had an issue with the furnace and it kicked out and we were woke to very cold house on one of the very coldest morning this year. I made a call and they came out that same day and got us up and going. The sad part the furnace is 23 years old and time for a replacement. Two days later they show up on time and had the new furnace installed up and running. The crew did a great job of installing and clean up. Other family members have used with good services. I do recommend them.

I have had so many issues I feel like with my Ac and my furnace this year. Beard Heating & Cooling was always my first call. Everyone at this business is kind,friendly, and respectful. They was always quick to get to my home. I always feel 100% comfortable and confident in the services I am getting. Jessie R. is always a pleasure to deal with. I joke and call him my personal tech. Terry and Vera are always a pleasure to speak to and always helpful in anyway they can be. I truely appreciate each individual at Beard Heating & Cooling and appreciate the work they put in at my home.I wouldn't take my business anywhere else. Jesse showed up earlier than expected, ask what the problem was, did some diagnostics on my central AC unit. He was able to find the problem and fix it all within 30 minutes. I was 100% satisfied and would recommend this company to anyone who needs their services. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly and at a great price. It is hard to find someone in today's world that meets or exceeds customer service anymore. Jesse more than exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much Jesse and Beard Heating & Cooling. I called with no heat at @ 830 and 15 minutes later had a tech out. My old furnace was blowing cool and emitting carbon monoxide into my house. Terry and his crew had a new unit installed the next afternoon. Terry and his wife Vera are life long Rushville residents and take pride in providing absolutely the best experience you could hope for. I have used them several times over the last 20 years and I am always impressed.

Our AC stopped working Sunday of a holiday weekend. I called a few places that only offered a Tuesday appt at the earliest then called Beard Heating & Cooling and they were out within an hour and had us up and running in no time. Very grateful for their quick service and being available on a holiday weekend!! Highly recommend!

Beard HVAC has been an excellent repair company for both HVAC and plumbing. They've seen us through some serious emergencies, as well as planned work. My house isn't an easy one to work with, given it was built in the late 1800's. I appreciate that they're always professional, yet familiar with both myself and my family - our normal tech even likes our big dog! :-)

Great service at a reasonable price! Installed a new thermostat with Alexa built into it and it has been so much better than the old one we had. Not to mention it will also keep the kids entertained with alexa playing songs for them.

Great company very honest, polite and easy to work with. Super job on instillation. It was a rainy day when they arrived they did a great job of not making a mess and cleaning up after they were done. Was very helpful on explaining the technology of the new system.

Plumbers did not show up for 3 appointments because they either wanted to come in the middle of an afternoon (I work nights and discussed this with them), family emergency, parts were with a different technician, or migraines prevented them from working. I understand things come up but, 3 appointments in a row is unprofessional. Then when I received a bill after refusing to schedule another appointment, I called to point out the inaccuracy of the notes and was told that I was rude and lucky that I wasn’t being charged for her time on the phone; among other condescending remarks. Also, I do have a voicemail still on my phone that proves that the notes written are only partially true.

Absolutely love these people! Very professional and respectful in every sense of the word. If it wasnt for them I would have lost all my furbabies to the heat. Today Cameron came and saved the day! He was fast, knowledgable, and all smiles. Hopefully we dont ever need anymore service for awhile but if we do, Cameron would be one of the top two I would have come back. Thank you all so much!

out of town investor who needed heat right away because pipes. had frozen. They came the same day, diagnosed the proble correctly, ordered and installed the part as soon as possible. Also provided a temporary fix to get past the very cold weather

Camren was very professional and explained what issues we were having with our thermostat. Camren explained an air purifying unit we could get for the furnance. He also explained and showed us the 3 tier-yearly maintenance prigram which we signed up for. A nice and professional young man.
