They were very good. I would use them again.

I was very dubious about air ducts needing cleaning at all- my A/C expert at a leading US Engineering Contractor had indicated that it was usually not necessary. However, I found that there was a significant amount of dust recovered from the ducts. They are quick, professionaI, reasonably-priced and efficient. Note: if you read the reviews here you will find that most of the "B"s might equally well have been "A"s. It should also be noted that this firm (which is actually LLC not Inc) has been listed as an Arlington County "Best Pick" for eight years.

Called them up, made an appointment two weeks out, which was good for me so I could take leave from work. The work window was 8am to 10am, and I was mentally prepared for them to arrive at 9:15 or later, but Nixon and Eduardo arrived at 8am on the dot! It took them less than an hour (just one zone). I've only had this done once before by a different company several years ago, so I don't really know if their pricing is competitive, or how the quality of their work compares, but I thought they were thorough--they took off the vent covers that weren't painted on. What I especially appreciated was their honesty: when setting up the appointment, I was quoted $495, but it turns out that was for 2 zones. Nixon crossed that out and charged $275.

[*** Link removed ***] I will quote the part I am talking about: "Long lengths of air hose with special 360 degree high velocity nozzles are connected to the compressor and 'snaked' through the entire duct system, dislodging debris that has accumulated on inner duct surfaces." They somewhat do this for registers that are on the floor, but there is no way they are reaching all the way to the furnace with their air hose. But, they do not even remove the grills of the registers on the walls or ceilings. They just blow compressed air for a few seconds from outside. They insisted that the air flow created by the vacuum that is connected near the furnace does the job. I am not convinced. Obviously there is no way for me to snake through each duct and prove that it does not work. In short, they do not do what they describe on their own website. They spent exactly one hour in my house.

Duct cleaning went fine, but unlike other companies' offers that I've seen, this company didn't provide sanitization spray or video evidence of what the ducts looked like before and after.

Easy to schedule and they did a top notch job. Cleaned up after they were done. I feel we got a fair price for the services.

One workman went around vacuuming out vents while two others set up to start cleaning out duct work. They left the house mostly clean, I did have to do some vacuuming in the upper hallway where they accessed the intake vent. They even let me see into the vent that they were cleaning so that I could see the before and the after.

This went extremely well! PROFESSIONAL. They underpriced many other estimates I received by almost $100. They were available 2 weeks earlier than other service providers. They clearly explained what they would do, how they would do it, and how much it would cost. They arrived on time and explained to my wife what they were doing the whole time. I could not be more satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone. <br />

Technicians were very professional, friendly and efficient. It was the second time I used Pure Air Service, and both times they were very thorough and did a great job. I'm confident that I'm breathing cleaner air in my home. <br />

The original owner came the first two times. He told me he was going to sell the business to a young man that he trained personally. They continue do a great job. They explain things effectively and show exactly what they have done . They also clean up well and are loyal to their customers. I continue to recommend their services. They have done such a good job and I would not use anyone else.

Thy did a good job and showed up on time. However, this is the first time we have had this work done and I have nothing to compare them to.

The two workers were generally efficient, although they would not have swept near the vents to get excess dust off the floor if I had not asked them to. In some cases I had to show them where the vents were to clean. I found the procedure to be a bit more expensive than competitors, but I went with them due to their other good reviews, and the fact that they threw in the dryer vent for free with two HVAC's.

Things went very smoothly. The workers told me that our dryer vent was partially disconnected so they repaired that. We noticed an initial large amount of dust in certain rooms, but within a week or so that dropped off and we are now seeing an improvement in the rate of dust accumulation. We are very satisfied with what they did and the quality of their work.

They were punctual, did a good job, protected the house from dirt. The owners' wife answered the phone when I called and gave us a discount due to Angie's list.

The only thing I can add is that they did a really good job and we will be calling on them again. They've already come twice in the past and we'll probably call on them this summer as well.

It was good. It was my first experience with air duct cleaning but I felt I got my moneys worth. They were professional, clean, and showed me all the debris they captured. All in all it was a good experience.
