Save your time and frustration, find someone better qualified. These guys came out twice, and charged diagnosis twice without finding my issue which was noticed in 10 seconds or less by someone capable of using their eyes….. The electrical board which is directly visible was completely burnt. I feel the technicians should have noticed right away that the board is black and burned because it was extremely visible and obvious, its the first think you see when you open the cover.. Although they are nice, Its my opinion that they lack competence and after expressing my concerns with the owner I was told ‘it is what it is’...

Thatcher Mechanical is an absolute gem within this community. We were given a recommendation from a colleague who spoke very highly of them, and the hype lived up to the services we received. The office staff, Sarah, was extremely polite and communicative. Our technician, Kyle, was very timely and informative. He helped guide us through an issue we were having with our AC unit, saved us so much money, and didn’t pressure us into replacing the unit. Needless to say, we will be lifelong customers and appreciate such an honest business that is local. If anyone is needing HVAC services, I highly recommend hiring Thatcher mechanical!

Would highly recommend their services. My air went out and Tod came out to give me a quote on a new air conditioner which he did. Then he said it was probably just this one part and fixed it instead, which was very reasonable. Very honest guy.

Control board burned up first thing in the morning. Called Thatcher as soon as they opened. Wyatt was scheduled to be to my house at 11 am and showed up exactly on time. He was incredibly professional and friendly. He inspected the furnace thoroughly and found the issue quickly. The repair was done in a timely fashion. The cost was in line with what I expected. Very pleased with the response and work.

Rob Bedal was referred to me by Climatemaster. He worked with me to design and install a Geothermal system for my house. He and his crew were professional and courteous throughout the process and coordinated well with the contractor I hired to do the excavating..He completed the job for the amount quoted at the beginning and his company has continued their professional demeanor in the routine maintenance visits. I am very satisfied with the Geothermal system. I got the savings in heating cost I expected but I was really blown away by how much I am saving in cooling cost.

I just bought a house on Park Street in Yorkville and I was VERY impressed at the install this company has done a couple years back. I've been in HVAC for 10 years and was going to open equipment to make sure everything was working well. The wiring was perfect but also so neat and professional. This is something the customer would never see but they still took the time to make it look great inside and out. As an OCD service tech myself everything it straight and done clean inside and out. Incredible quality. Great job team. I'd be honored to work there.

Amazing company! I had to call twice about my furnace, both times they had Wyatt out the same day. Wyatt is an amazing person! He explains what's going on, replaces what's needed and gives suggestions on what to do in the future. I would recommend this local company to everyone and anyone again and again.

I have used Bedal for years on my new homes that I build and also servicing my own home. They have fair pricing, good products, attentive professional staff and outstanding service. I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Bedal came out to clean my furnace and get me ready for winter. The technician was exceptional and did an outstanding job. I will recommend this company to family and friends!

Couldn’t have asked for better communication and service. Had a Boiler go out 1 night, Todd was there first thing the next morning and had it diagnosed in 5 minutes. Had parts ordered that same day, and installed the next.

I have used Rob for years and referred him to family and friends. They always do a great job and have helped me with furnaces & A/C as well as on demand water heaters.

Had a shorted out circuit board replaced on 2/26/16. I found out yesterday that board was not jumpered properly causing ac unit to not hit stage 2 cooling. Thankfully a professional discovered and fixed the issue. Thanks for 3.5 summer's of increased electric usage.

Other than marking their part prices up 110%, the service was good and they were on time.

I called and they were here, analyzed the problem, and it was fixed in 3 hours! Very professional and friendly.
