Water heater was leaking they came out that day to assess May 5, 2020. Came back May 6, 2020 to install new water heater. Have not had a functioning bathtub/shower yet. All I get are empty promises of them coming back to fix. Even had EGV Public Works our to check the B Box which the plumber should have never opened and pressure is good at 42. 2 Reps from the village have called them to advise that this is unacceptable and they need to fix ASAP. this did nothing to solve the issue. Do her we sit an 80 year old woman with congestive heart failure, diabetes and COPD left with no way to bathe other than a sponge bath in the sink. BRAVO. Village Sewer. Do you force feed Diabetics candy canes to? Should we be looking for one in the mail? Totally fed up and disgusted with this BS. Did I mention they charged me $1295 for a 40 gal tank that according to the text I received a 40 gal tank is only $1195. They took $100 off as. Discount to bring it down to $1195. Shouldn’t the discount make it $1095 done it’s a 40 gal tank?

Everything went well. The employees are extremely nice and polite. They did a great job cleaning up when they were done. While it cost a little more than we originally thought, it was a very labor intensive project. When I had an issue with the drain months later, they came out and made a change to allow for better drainage.

Came out the same day I called. Rodded the sewer line to clean out tree roots that blocked the line. Very courteous and we're done promptly.

Great! When I noticed the leak, I called the office and someone was able to come out within an hour. Nice, courteous. He inspected the water heater and while he was there I had him look at a toilet that was running and also inspect the sump pump. In the end, we needed to replace the water heater. They were able to get one and install it that day. Total time was about 5 hours. The technician was efficient, kept my house clean, friendly and helpful, took all the old parts away, AND was nice to my dog :-) Water is hot and lasts thru dishwasher, clothes washer, and showers! Totally satisfied!

How'd it go? Overall very well. The Downs: Running late, I had to call to find out where they were and when they would arrive. A little messy but "we're plumbers not maids". They left a tool behind so I had to meet them the following day to return it. The Ups: They were able to fix a problem that I had had for over 5 years. Two other plumbers and the building maintenance guys could never get the toilet to flush properly. By that I mean that when you flushed it seemed as if the water/waste just circled and circled before going down. Previous attempts to fix this included: liquid drain cleaners, auguring the toilet (from inside the bowl to the floor) and, removing/reseating the toilet (twice) They fixed it in one afternoon.
Another plumber came by in the morning. I told him exactly what I told this plumber - the major problem was when we ran the shower on the second floor, it flooded my basement. All the water went directly through to the basement ceiling. That plumber wanted $1800 a day PLUS parts and estimated 1-2 days, total around $4,000! They planned on tearing out walls just to "look" for the leak.

Then Elk Grove Village arrived, one man, on time. He listened to the water, listened to the pipes, then said, he could fix it all right then. He was fairly certain which pipe was leaking and only needed to open one wall (inside the linen closet). He worked for over 5 hours but he fixed everything - no more leaks, no more clogs, dishwasher runs again, and water pressure is greatly improved. He let me crawl in and see the open pipe so I knew exactly what he was doing before and after. Total bill $670, about 15% of what the other plumber wanted.

They are very reasonable. They were the cheapest. They were here 2 days. I asked them to do a little bit more and they did without hesitation. I will be calling them all the time now.

I called in the morning because overnight my bathtubs and toilets had water back-up into them. They were able to have someone come out that same afternoon. They told me on the phone how much it would cost to snake the piping outside the house connected to the clean-out. I asked them to call me and let me know when they were close. They called 15 minutes prior to their arrival, the visit was very fast and everything is back to normal. Very nice office staff, very nice plumber. No surprises!

We panicked when our sewer malfunctioned Thurs night before Labor Day. My neighbor recommended Joe, so I called Friday morning, and he was able to come that day. He arrived on time with everything needed. The cleanout in the front of the house had been buried over time, but he found it! He cleaned thoroughly, then tested--and went back and cleaned in the other direction. Victory! He also noticed a problem with the flushing mechanism in the downstairs toilet, and fixed that, too. He was hardworking and knew what he was doing. He suggested regular sewer cleanings so this doesn't happen again--and he's the guy I'll be calling to do it.

I used him recently for a broken connection in the kitchen sink. He fixed everything as fast as he could, in an adequate fashion.
