217, Inc.

I'm on a maintenance plan 2x a year includes furnace and A/C. The have fix errors that were made by other companies, which is why I only use 217 Inc. now. Patrick was very thorough, answered all my questions. I want competence in contractors and with 217 Inc. I get that.

I had a leaky coil in the outside unit of my air-conditioner. I called three heating and air companies to come and evaluate my problem. Two of the companies (major companies in central Illinois who you would recognize but I won't name) told me that I had to basically scrap my older system using the older air-conditioning gas. Two of them said there was nothing to do but start over and do a conversion (very expensive). 217 Heating & Cooling (Lucas did the work) looked my system overAnd told me that the outside coil was still under warranty and could be replaced. He informed me that the rest of my system was perfectly serviceable and that this was an acceptable solution. I considered it ironic that the other two big name heating and air companies failed to either recognize this issue or immediately went to the most expensive solution. I will definitely continue to do business with 217 Heating & Air!

Lucas Pryor own the company and does the work. He replaced our thermostat, which had stopped working, the same day I called. He did an excellent job and, in addition, shared some useful tips w/re to the heating/AC in the house. Very impressed by his expertise and professionalism.

Lucas was very easy to work with. He met me at the house the first time to look at my boiler and he walked me through what he recommended. I had him come back for a servicing in about a week, and I appreciated his candidness and his honesty.

I contacted 217 Heating & Cooling because I wanted a new baseboard heater installed. While Lucas was here to look over the baseboard situation, he did a lot of educating regarding my Co and smoke detectors. My home is 15 years old. I had no idea that the hard-wired smoke detectors expired after 10 years. He was able to give me good advice regarding new ones and installed those when he came to do the baseboard heater. I highly recommend 217 Heating & AC.
