Climate Design

Stephen came by to do a general check-up on our unit. He was professional as always and did a fantastic job. As per usual Climate Design knocked it out of the park. Cannot recommend their business enough!!

We left a voicemail message 5 days ago and used their online appointment request 4 days ago and have still not heard from anyone. The response time that the company provided was 8 hours and then 11 hours. We understand that they are probably extremely busy with the high temperatures but there is no excuse not to at least respond especially within the the time that THEY provided. We will use someone that better appreciates our business and is more service oriented.

This company was supposed to come out last Thursday to my home. I believe I have an issue with my ducts and wanted to get it addressed as soon as possible. I have 2 young children and there rooms are 80 degrees or higher. Climate Design was a no show and did not return the three messages I left. Very disappointing.

Steven was prompt, professional and very thorough in his assessment and repair of our AC problem. He was very courteous in answering questions and checked on the general maintenance of our unit. He also took time to do some needed maintenance. Pricing was reasonable. Things have been tough this last month. While having your AC go out isn't a catastrophe, its nice to know there are reputable people you can trust to come to your aid. I highly recommend their services.

I am very pleased with the service provided by this company. Stephen arrived timely and resolved my AC issue very quickly. He did not try to up sell me on additional services I didn't need. I will definitely reach out to climate design again if I experience issues in the future.

Climate Design installed a new air conditioning unit today. The owner Bob Brewer gave me the best price of all the companies I had contacted. He answered all my questions and I felt good about my decision to go with his company. He and his son installed the unit today in short order, and I was very happy with the entire experience. I would highly recommend Climate Design.

Bob was such a nice gentlemen! He was very knowledgeable. He came within 2 hours of my call. No negatives. Prices are comparable to others. I would definitely recommend him and would call again if necessary. Works weekends too!

Mr. Bob really came through. I was having many issues with my AC unit and was dealing with my home warranty for over a month. Was getting a few estimates and decided to Call climate design early Sunday and Sunday afternoon I get a response. Monday morning Mr. Bob was here to give an estimate and gave such a good estimate that I sign a contract right away. Had some other estimates and nothing compared his price. Had my AC installed by Tuesday afternoon. Cannot complaint about anything Installers were amazing on time and very professional.

AC stopped blowing cold last night. After trying to troubleshoot things myself this morning, I called around noon to try to get someone out to take a look. Bob was here about 2 hours later. He identified the issue quickly and made the appropriate repair without trying to upsell me on everything under the sun. Count me as one happy customer! Our unit is 15+ years old, so I figure we are on borrowed time already. Bob will be my first call when it comes time to replace old trusty.

I have 2 air conditioners. One quit. I called Climate Design to have them look at the one and perform preventative maintenance on both of them. They had an opening at 2:30 the next day. Showed up late, at 3:30, let that pass. Determined it was a circuit breaker and said I would have to get an electrician. I asked about maintenance on the other unit, he said he didn't have time. I called the next day to advise them that I had the circuit breaker replaced and would like to reschedule the maintenance. I got the answering machine so left a message to that effect. Didn't get a call back that day but the next day. They advised me that they didn't like the structure (attic air handler) and were going to pass. I pointed out that the maintenance, check Freon, clean coils would be outside. They said, they were not interested in doing business and would pass. So much for good service.

I called and was pleasantly surprised to find someone that was understanding of my situation. I asked for a quote on two new AC units and Bob came the next day. He was pleasant and helped me understand the quote and what to expect. I recieved 2 other quotes and his was the best but also the best customer service. We chose this company for the great reviews and I can affirm that they are correct. Bob and his son did a great job installing the new units and getting rid of the old AC units. The units are running great and we are ready for another hot summer.

Climate Design recently installed a mini split in my home and handled everything from start to finish in a timely manner! They worked through 2 rainstorms to make sure the job got done! The tech Stephen was friendly and professional! A warranty issue came up with the unit and they were right on top of it. I would recommend them for any of your A.C. needs.

We have used Bob Brewer for years as our air conditioning go to people . We had or first unit put in by them over 13 years ago and it was such an awesome cold unit . Today we just had our new unit put in. They are extremely professional and economical. They respond quickly and educate you on the best unit for your home. They will treat you right and are extremely honest and trustworthy . They are local in Audubon Park and both work hard to give the fairest price possible . I needed to move my AC unit since it was loud and taking up a good part of our new backyard remodel. Bob quoted me right away and his son came out the following business day and did a great job! I needed to find a new AC Company as my guy had retired. I have been thru a couple, who wouldn't return calls, so crossed my fingers when I called and left a message with Climate Design. Bob called me back and set an appointment for the next day. They called telling me that he was on his way, but running a little late. What a nice gentleman, I am so glad someone recommended this company. He serviced my AC, set up a maintenance agreement, I couldn't be happier. A ery pleasant experience.

These guys are life savers. Back in 2015, I had no AC for over a year so mix Florida plus no AC and you're going to have a bad time. All the estimates from other places were ridiculous; but, thankfully, I got referred to Climate Design who gave a reasonable estimate. Got the AC put in and there were no surprise charges. Work was done quick and well. Fast forward to 2017 and we started having an issue with the AC not cooling (not connected to anything they did). We called them out and they checked everything to try to find out where the issue was. When they couldn't originally find it, they recharged the AC so that we wouldn't be left in the heat and then came back again to see if they could find where the suspected leak was. The leak was hiding in a sneaky place but they were determined to find the hole and they soon did! As soon as they found it, they brought in the equipment and part needed (covered by warranty) that same day and fixed the issue. We are now living in a paradise of cool air. I recommend them and plan to have all future maintenance done by their team. I have full trust in their work and their estimates. I personally had no issues with them calling back after I left a message and they always called before arriving to make sure I knew they were on their way. I know they must be busy with summer here so I was amazed that they were able to see me for my issue right away. TL;DR? Great prices for great work. Trustworthy and they will go above and beyond to find and fix any issues.

We've had our new unit nearly 2 years, a manufacturer piece within the handler had an issue & they came out same day we called to check our freon and added some to get us through the weekend before the part could come in for them to repair. They were on time, quick to repair the issue & went above and beyond to take care of us. Great father/son business with great service well after the sale (which is rare). Highly recommend them!

This company is outstanding!! Most of us cold call to find a good AC company. We must rely and trust their expertise and WORD. I went through 4 quotes before finding Climate Design and they were outstanding from the onset of professionalism with Bob, everything was in writing and above board, they wore logo polo shirts for identification, written quotes and receipts, willing to pull permits, nothing to hide, and kept their WORD as given!!!! This is huge in this day and age of greed. They were a 2 man team and conveyed their expertise in superb knowledge of the AC function, coils, and did everything they said they would do. This COMPLEX old unit installation was awesome as they are experts in retrofit, You will not be disappointed!

This started with several phone calls and a voicemail not being returned. I was contacted by their VERY active social media person who claimed that I never called or left a message. After refuting that and providing my number I got a combination excuse that the owner was getting a lot of spam calls AND had deleted my voicemail. No apology, no call back. That irked me a little but I still called back and this time actually spoke with someone and arranged an estimate. In person they were curt and obviously didn't want to be there. There was no reference to the phone tag game. I let that go in the hopes that he was just busy and was trying to fit me in to make up for ignoring the calls. It just kept going downhill from there. Upon inspecting my AC unit he tried to tell me it was 10 years old according to the serial number (it was 2 years old). He told me that my AC unit was fairly undersized (without knowing anything about the house except approx. size). He offered almost no solution to my problem of having one room being warmer than the rest of the house. He did not offer or suggest doing an AC system inspection, had no tools to measure air flow or temperature with him. Overall it would seem that Climate Design has had no continuing education on air conditioning since the 80s. To top it all off my previous 1 star review was reported to Yelp to have removed. I can't imagine they would try to have this one taken down now as it has more than enough information.

Climate Design came and saved the day! Our AC stopped working properly on Saturday 7/30. We went 2 days averaging 89 inside.. very hot, humid, and hard to sleep. Monday morning I called Climate Design, they returned my phone call before noon and Bob came out at 2:00pm the same day! We found out that the outside fan and capacitor wasn't operating at the speed that it is suppose to. The estimate was a few hundred (expected), but what WOW'd me was when he told me it could be replaced and fixed within 2 hours. Normally I expect a few days since they need to order the part, schedule out how long it would take and when they are available. But nope, Bob said he can go pick up the parts and put it all back together by 4:00pm. Before I knew it, AC was alive! The temperature dropped down to 82 degrees by 8pm and now we are good to go. You really can't wait days to get it fixed, so if you are looking for fast, reliable, honest work to be done asap.. call Climate Design!

I needed a new unit installed and called around for quotes. Not only was Stephen prompt with initial communications, but also punctual and professional. On install day, Stephen and Bob worked hard and long hours to remove my old unit and install the new equipment, all while fielding my questions and helping me become more knowledgable. Thank you!
