[CONSUMERS BE AWARE] If only I could give 0 stars, I would. Originally had services done early last year and on our HVAC system. We signed up for their "Meridian Member Club (HVAC)" as they gave us assurance that they would come out to regularly maintain our HVAC system every 6 months (twice a year, Summer and Winter). We originally prepaid for the Summer. When Summer came, they never came out. We called, but was told that they were busy and would come out the following week. However, they never showed up. We then disputed the Summer charge that was made in January. Then I noticed we were charged again in July for Winter. We tried to call, but was put to voicemail. We told them we are ending our services and we promptly disputed that charge. Now come 1/13/26, they charged us again after we ended service and changed the card number as we had the feeling this would happen. Consumers, if you cancel the Meridian Member Club (HVAC), change your card number with your bank, but request to "Opt out of the Visa Auto Updater." Their billing service will charge the new card if you do not.

Spencer and josh were very helpful when my furnace was having issues, they wasted no time getting in and figuring out what the problem was, getting it fixed and putting out heat again. These two came in very professionally, didn’t track snow through the house, didn’t leave a mess behind, and they were polite and walked me through what had happened and a few other preventative measures to stay on top of to avoid future issues. I would recommend yankton heating and cooling, as they are easy to get ahold of, they showed up when they said they were going to and they have the knowledge and competence to get the job done.

Josh and Spencer are the best. My furnace failed on Sunday night, they provided me with temporary heating and had a new furnace installed by Wednesday. Very professional and caring. Thanks to you both!

Precision, precision, precision!! Spencer came to the rescue, once again, like a frickin samurai. My water heater started failing Friday. Spencer was fast in his response making it out the following Thursday to install the new unit. He gave me all the tools as a homeowner to keep my old unit alive till he could make it out. His on the job manners were clean and professional. He also took time on how to get the most life out of the new unit. Installation time took roughly 2hrs and left his work space cleaner than when he arrived. Easily the most knowledgeable HVAC person in the surrounding area 5🌟 5🌟 5🌟

I had a great experience with Yankton Heating & Cooling. They were quick to respond and resolved my issue efficiently. What really stood out was how they took the time to explain the problem to me in clear, understandable terms. I now feel more confident in how my system works and how to maintain it. Our water heater went out on a Friday, and Spencer was able to give my fiance instructions to keep it going until he could get to us, which he was able to do a couple of days later. He did fast work, cleaned the whole area, and we love our new endless supply of hot water. The part I was the happiest about was the way he Houdini 'd the old water heater off the property the next day. I work from home and didn't even realize he had come to get it. I walked outside and was like, "Am I losing my mind, or was that water heater sitting right there two hours ago, and nobody has been here, and now it's gone?" I'd been making plans to get it to the dump, and everything. Highly recommend.

Spencer came to my home within 30 minutes of my call. He had my furnace fixed with 15 minutes. He also went over helpful tips to improve the heating in the home and other issues on my furnace to keep an eye on in the future. He was also very reasonably priced! Will suggest to others.

Our system went down on the first hottest weekend of the summer. After our usual (Yankton) company failed to fix our system, again, we reached out to Spencer for the first time. Even though he was very busy he came out the next day. He figured out what the problem was. Due to our system being older and having yearly issues, it was time for a new one. Spencer came out and installed a new system. He was very polite and professional! He took the time to discuss everything with us and answered all of our questions from start to finish! We had just moved in and the first day at the house our AC went out. We made a call late in the afternoon, Spencer came out the next morning, ordered a part after assessing the issue, came back the following day and repaired the issue. Was great to work with and quick response!

Spencer is professional, educated and polite. He was able to identify a problem and provide the appropriate solution to a heating and cooling issue our nonprofit was having. Best, he donated his services to give back to his community. I plan to use him for personal use in the future. If you need honest and timely services, let Spencer bid your project.

Spencer has been wonderful to work with, he put a new furnace and a/c in last fall. Our a/c stopped work and I called him and he came out right away to see what was wrong, and we need a new one, they got a unit right away and it’ll be put in a week. Since we got a furnace and a/c from them our bill has went down by $150 dollars a month. Would highly recommend them, Spencer is very professional!

We had an old HVAC system and Spencer replaced ours with a new efficient system. He was very knowledgeable about his system and took pride in his craft after the install was done. Communication was A+ throughout the whole process. If you haven't had good experiences with other companies in town give him a call I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I called Larry’s heating and cooling they charge $85 plus tax to diagnose furnace Kalins charges $99 to diagnose furnace but I couldn’t get them to come out Until a few days, so I called Yankton heating and cooling ask them how much they charge to come out. They wouldn’t tell me. I told him what was wrong with my garage furnace. It would come on and off work and not work. He came to my house first thing he said give me your credit card I said it’s in my wheelchair van you’ll have to get it. We are elderly and I am very disabled not because I have one leg but because of my heart. He didn’t bring no tools. He use my ladder and a few minutes later told me I needed a circuit board and a few other parts would come to around 700$to $800 just by looking at it. No special testing. I told him I would talk it over with Sandy and I did and she said we could not afford to fix it or buy a new one and again I asked him how much he was going to charge before he left and in a text when he was gone. He never respond back. A young lady that helps us keep our house up stopped. She said this is happened to her furnace. It’s probably just a loose wire. She went up the ladder sure enough, the thermostat wire was loose tighten it up and the furnace is still working to this day 14 days went by. I got a email that said my bill was past due on February 9 and he wanted $143 plus change if he would’ve told me it was that much I would’ve never called him in the first place because we’re on Social Security money, only and I will never we will never call again because I feel he was very dishonest

Spencer was timely to help fix my hot-water heater. He was knowledgeable and offered suggestions and tips. He is incredibly friendly and professional.

We recently had our AC go out on a weekend. We called and Spencer quickly responded! He was very knowledgeable and professional and quickly discovered the problem! We will most definitely be calling again for any and all AC or heating problems we may encounter!

I had my furnace looked at and had some registers fixed and one added in the lower level. Spencer listened and answered all my questions and explained everything thoroughly. I'm very happy with the service I recieved and will call him in the future.

Excellent customer service! Recently we were out of town and noticed on our app that there was a problem. Called Spencer on a Sunday and he met a relative that had a key within an hour and had the problem fixed quickly. Highly recommend!!!

From the first phone call when we talked to Mike, he was friendly, pleasant and very helpful all the way through the service call when Spencer arrived to work on our A/C, he was knowledgeable, took care of our issue in a timely manner, he too was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. This is the first time I called Yankton Heating due to my a/c not working and it is scorching out.
