I was pleased with them. It was a small spot and I remember being pleasantly surprised that he could do the whole room for what I thought he would charge for this just one spot and he did the whole room for me. It was wonderful. They were eager to provide as much as they could for the dollar. He came right away.

What stood out the first time was their willingness to try to answer questions about certain chemicals in the cleaning device. I did not compare their pricing. If I had to use them again in the future I would ask them about the chemical or I would ask them to use new rinsing water or wipe the baseboards or something.     </p>

They did a good job.  They were on time.  They were professional.

Sam Schemmer, whose dad started the family-owned company in 1978, provided me with an estimate for the job.  Sam is pleasant, comfortable to consult with in the home...an all around nice person.  He took careful notes of each aspect and detail of the job.  I thought the proposal was reasonable.  He scheduled the cleaning job on the date that I wanted the following week. <br /> <br /> When I called the next week to tell them I'd been sick and unable to prep the house for the cleaning job, they quickly offered to reschedule.  <br /> <br /> On the date of service, I left a key for the crew as prearranged, due to my being at work.  I have no reason to think that they did not arrive at the scheduled time.  I arrived home to wonderfully clean carpets.  I noticed a couple of details that I had discussed with Sam that had not been completed.  Sam called me the following day to ask how I felt about their service; when I told him about these minor missed details, he carefully noted them for follow up with his crew and, without a request from me, offered a discounted invoice.  I really appreciated that.  It's clear that this company knows that it's best to retain customers than to troll for new ones.  If I need future cleaning, I know that I'll be a repeat customer of Schemmer's, and I would endorse them to others.

The carpet cleaners that were here were very polite and on time.  In fact, they were done with their previous job earlier than expected, and they called me to ask if they could come earlier.  I was most happy about that because I then had a longer drying time with the carpets.  The carpets were cleaned to my satisfaction.   <br /> This is the second time I have used Schemmer"s Cleaning Service, and I will absolutely call them again the next time I need my carpet cleaned. <br />

They were prompt, professional and thorough; my carpets have never looked better. It's hard to find a quality carpet cleaning service at a reasonable price and Schemmer's met my standards. They were able to get some stains out from staining of window trim (white carpeting). We will definitely use again and highly recommend. <br />

When I first called I got an answering machine but they quickly returned my call.  I described what I wanted on the phone and they have a tentative estimate.   I was able to set an appointment for a few days later.   Two men arrived on time, measured the rooms, gave a firm quote and had me sign for it before the work was started.  They vacuumed the rooms first, then cleaned them. The carpet looks very good.  The drying time was longer than I was told it would be, but it was done at a time of year when there was a lot of humidity outdoors and it was not cold enough for the heat to come on very much.  They sprayed carpet protector free of charge on several heavy traffic areas.  I would definitely use this company again. <br />
