I paid to have a new boiler installed and started to experience issues within the first five years. Only used Meenan for service and oil deliveries. I thought I was doing the right thing by using their services exclusively to make sure I got the best service. But when my unit started to fail the customer service went with it too. My unit has begun to corrode and has leaks-which I was told ?it lasted you five years and they don?t make them like they used to. Even with my service contract I have not received anything but excuses about why this unit is failing. I was even told that the manufacturer identified these issues and they?ve upgraded versions after mine. I?m no expert but 5 years doesn?t seem like the life span for a new boiler. The thing that really bothered me was the supervisor, the most rude & condescending person during the whole process-he is the person I am quoting above. If you are thinking about getting any equipment from Meenan, my advice to you is DON?T!

Getting a tune up appointment which they claim pays for the contract fee is impossible to get if they even keep it. In the 12 years I was with them maybe 4 tune ups happened as most of the time they are booked 6-12 months out. That’s how backup they are on this pre Covid Second I put my deliveries on hold and they sent me a cancellation fee. A few that was never disclosed in the email I agreed to (see attachment) after disputing it and saying they never disclosed it they sent me the bill again now with late fees. After 12 years and 10’s of thousands of dollars this is how they treat a long standing customer. Run but not to Petro as that’s the same company. Go to Slomins instead.

Repairs made in a timely fashion. Everything covered under service contract.

They replace my old boiler from my old boiler room to new boiler room. But all control bulled don't remove from the old room and the emergency switches also don't remove from garage. Also chimney conn It's no expected from MEENAN. I am a old customer and this service I never seen before. And I call Meenan for solve the problem but they didn't response . If I will see this type of work again I will think about as a Meenan customer.

Great as always. Meehan Service Reps are honest and efficient. They maintain my Heating System with yearly check ups and Service. Repairs when needed.

Fuel tank guys were amazing. After spending $15k for the work I had to have Meenan come back three times. Once for water leaking from an over tightened fitting and twice for no heat calls. Also, I had an issue with “wash down”. This occurs with new energy efficient boilers that don’t send as much heat up through the chimney, thus condensation occurs and that condensation runs back down into the boiler and then spills a sooty discharge all over my floor that I needed to scrape up with a spackle knife. I needed to have a stainless chimney liner installed. The rep that sold me this equipment should have told me this. The mech that came to check out the chimney told me that “wash down” can destroy a boiler. Also, Meenan’s billing department is horrendous.

The oil was delivered on time (actually early). Boiler service was done very professionally, they changed the filter and performed a multicheck on the boiler
