The process from beginning to end was incredible. Vanny came over and discussed my very general idea of what I was looking to do and helped me make those plans more concrete. The quote he provided was reasonable and the project cost was exactly what was quoted. What stood out to me the most was the quality of work done. No corners were cut - if something was being built from scratch, it was done correctly....if something that was being renovated was less than ideal (existing walls/studs out of plumb, uneven flooring, etc) it was made as correct as possible before the work was done. I would recommend VC Construction without hesitation!

Vinny is a fantastic contractor to work with. I have had Vinny work on multiple renovation projects at our home over the last year and half, and have had nothing but positive experience. He is humble, very professional, responsive, no shortcuts, hard working, and perfection in every work he does. He is punctual and prompt on his schedule. He has a great network of contacts for other trades (plumbing, electrical, plastering, hvac, you name it) and helps identify the right people to use for the job. Based on my experience, every single one of them that came with his recommendation were great to work with. I would absolutely recommend Vinny and VC Construction for any home renovation projects, and would not hesitate a bit to hire him for any future projects.

We hired Vinny to do a tub to shower conversion. He was the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. He gave us options and stayed within our budget and maintained his projected timeframe. We highly recommend him.

VC Construction finished our basement, replaced some flooring upstairs, tiled around our fireplace, and some work to our home’s exterior too. In every case we were blown away and thrilled with the results! I wholeheartedly recommend them for all types of jobs. They are courteous, clean, kind and hard-working perfectionists who will do every job right.

Vanny is a a great tradesman AND a nice guy. He fixed my window sills which included taking the whole window units out, doing the carpentry and light painting and putting them back. Good communicator and easy to work with. Would hire again in a minute.

Vinny was so great to work with we initially hired him for the garage extension and liked his work and his work ethic so much hired him for 2 bathrooms after that. He is very detailed oriented and it’s wonderful that he is on site everyday. Very easy to communicate with him throughout the projects. Definitely highly recommend!

I once joked to a friend in response to his 'since you are so happy with his work, I may hire him too', I told him, 'you don't choose Vinnie, Vinnie chooses you! Vinnie does the work as if it is his own project. Completely focused, attentive to the details. I liked most of this wor ethic. His quote was one of the most competitive. We interviewed about six different builders all with good ratings from friends or Angie's list. People he works with, electrician, plumber, HVAC were all very professional. Timely. Vinnie came up with this kitchen breakfast bar/island concept. He built it without much of an additional charge to the original quote. Gave us the address from where we could buy a quartz top. That breakfast bar became the central piece of the basement. There was a plain big wall on one side of the basement. Vinne came up with a cost-effective way to turn it into a brick-looking wall perfectly matching brick tiles in the kitchen. He put the kitchen brick tiles in one afternoon, without asking extra on top of the quote. Vinnie guided how best to get custom kitchen cabinets suitable for a basement. He installed the cabinets himself. He had put the crown of the cabinet twice to match two pieces of the crown in color, he did not ask for extra. He helped us choose the best option for flooring for humidity and told us where to find the most cost-effective flooring. He only charged us for putting the flooring down. All this gave us confidence that what he is charging us reasonable, he was not charging us extra on top of the material cost to him since we were buying the material ourselves after making sure that the price/quality was suitable for the project.

Vanny did an outstanding job. He was prompt, professional, clean, and did outstanding work. In addition he had great suggestions and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend him. We have already hired him to do more work later this year.

Excellent! We had a huge project. Vanny was great to work with. He does excellent work! He was even very helpful with giving us ideas as our project moved along and we were making decisions/choices. He works very hard. He does things the right way, he doesn’t cut corners, and knows what he’s doing!

This was our second project with Vanni, and we were just as satisfied as with the first. He did stupendous work and was always pleasant and courteous and came up with thoughtful solutions to any issues that arose. He also dovetailed extremely well with the plumber and electrician. They were both happy to work with him and appreciated the top-notch prep he did for them. We will not shop contractors anymore. Vanni’s the one.

Vanni pulled out carpets and installed oak floors. His team got all the rooms done in under a week! Looks great.

Vanni was the person we were looking for on day one. He is very knowledgeable in multiple trades. He is not afraid to make a recommendation on design choices; he was absolutely right. Vanni is always punctual and neat. He helps organize the jobs and timing of the other trades. He reviewed all the plans for cabinets and appliances and was very accommodating to schedules and unexpected delays. Our kitchen remodel consisted of replacing everything including moving and replacing an exterior door. He installed our cabinets, back splash, new door, exterior wall repair, and flooring.

VC Construction was responsive, punctual, and professional. We asked for x,y, and z and they realized we needed more than that for better and safer construction and they were able to provide that in a timely manner. Will definitely use for future projects.

First of all I am EXTREMELY fussy about any work done on our antique farm. That said, Vanni does a super job. The most meticulous carpenter I have ever worked with. Great attention to even the smallest detail. He is affable, prompt, honest, reliable and a true master of his trade. Furthermore he cleans up ALL mess before leaving each night. As stated we own an antique farmhouse with four barns/out buildings and consequently have dealt with a multitude of contractors over the years. He is the best carpenter by a long shot. If you want the best workmanship you need not shop around. Do yourself a favor and hire him.

Phenomenal. The company is reliable and knowledgeable. They picked up on things I didn't and were quick to ask questions and organize. They were punctual and reliable. I will be hiring him again to do more work in my home. He is so reliable that this time I will give him a key and trust him to do what is right even if I cannot be at home to help with every decision because they are so trustworthy. Vanni and his crew were fantastic — fair price, nice people neat, clean — a pleasure to have around. And the quality of the work was superb. Neighbors even called to say how good the job looked. We are already going ahead with Vanni and crew on kitchen and bathroom reno.

All the work came out masterfully. See the photos attached photos to review for yourself. If concerned as I might have been earlier in the project that a dozen+ jobs would result in overages, this wasn’t the case. Vanny and Tony's open communication led to this positive result. There might have been one related to bathroom, but it was traded back earlier in the project when the purchased carpet was too small for the upstairs closet - Tony paid for the extra carpet and installation. Vanny and Tony are perfectionists. They demand the highest performance of themselves and their subcontractors. I cannot recommend them enough for large scale projects.
