Matt Bishaw was very informative and made me feel comfortable. He cleaned our units and gave me good advice. I was having trouble turning one of the units we recently installed off ie., the remote would only work some of the time so he helped me. He has an excellent personality and spoke to me thoroughly about the service plans in a very careing manner. I had wished he was here to explain this before we decided on the install. He didn't make me feel like I was another job or wasting his time. I appreciate Island comfort working with us and hope them a successful future. Although the maintenance and warranty discussion was overlooked in the previous install and no discussion was had until after, I must say this; the installation was done well and these men were focused on the work and not on chit chat or wasting company time. You have good employees. I would very much like to continue to work with your company in the future. I do recommend that all pertinent information be disclosed before hand and I can respect the importance of your business. With that said I look forward to discussions on the matter and hope we can come to an agreement.

I had an excellent experience with my recent AC guy, Donovan. From start to finish, the service was smooth, professional, and reliable. Donovan was outstanding—knowledgeable, honest, and patient. He took the time to explain all my options, answered every question clearly, and made sure I felt confident in my decision. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the entire process and highly recommend this company to anyone needing an AC installation. Great service and a truly exceptional salesman.

From set up an appointment, to installation day everything went smoothly and it was an over all pleasant experience. Technicians were also professional, knowledgeable, and we'll organized and extremely neat. Our central air unit is now currently 4yrs and has had no issues. Anual maintenance appointment was top notch service as well. Highly recommend.

Was recommended this business by my neighbor to have my Mitsubishi split A/C cleaned and serviced. Called at 8:45a on Monday, had my info taken down, and scheduled a service for the following day for a technician to arrive between noon and 4p. Great! Appx 4hrs later, I receive a call from this business advising me that I should have whoever installed the system come and maintain it as any services provided could void my warranty. I explained that I bought my home with the system already installed and that I already had 2 services provided by a different company and that I was willing to pay for the maintenance. I was then told that they were booked up until April and that there was a misunderstanding with the person who I made the appointment through earlier who was on the mainland. I'm not buying the excuse and am writing this as a warning to prospective customers that this business seems shady with their practices.

Best experience I've ever had with any type of home services. Chanel is now my "Go to". She showed high technical knowledge of AC units and it was explained to me very well. She took the time to explain everything to me and all the little nuances with ACs. Not only that, I sensed the genuine honesty with everything we discussed with my units.Channel is a True Christian at heart and seeking only what is best for her customers. I highly recommend her and I am definitely calling back and asking for her specifically.

We received amazing service from Albert Mulligan. We are on the maintenance twice a year package. He is doing a thorough cleaning and is very knowledgeable with the A/C Units. We had our units installed for us by Island Comfort 8 years ago. The staff in office and the crew is very friendly. Mahalos for a great job!!!💕

Our service tech was Mana. He was so punctual that he actually reached out to confirm if we were available even BEFORE our service time window! So we didn’t have to sit around all day wondering when someone would come unlike other places! This guy is very knowledgeable; super humble and very comfortable to work with. I am a woman and often scared to have a male at my home, BUT Mana is so trustworthy, clear at communicating, thoughtful, confident, super knowledgeable and personable, I felt very safe! And Mana is very smart but never mansplains, never talks down and never bulldozed me- thank you Mana! This company is LUCKY to have him! Also, even though we got an introductory offer through Home Depot for only $29, Mana fully performed his job at a $300+ service level! This guy REALLY made his company look good!!! They are beyond lucky to have him and we will be return customers as well as referring people to him at his company for future business!

Jamie did a phenomenal job from start to finish. He first came two months ago to service my AC and was very thorough regarding the diagnostics as well as everything that had been completed in the service. Yesterday, my AC stopped working and Jamie was able to come today to inspect the issue. He immediately found the issue , which was the converter, and was able to go to the store and purchase a new one right away. After he installed the converter, the AC turned on and was working like new. Jamie explained what the issue was along with a few other tips and tricks to preserve the longevity of my AC. My house had gotten into 86° inside and it’s now at 74! Not only is he incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, he is a great guy. Thank you, Jamie, for saving my day and getting my AC to work!

The AC unit that was included with the purchase of my home is probably as old as I am, but still functional. Channel from Island Comfort came out to give it a health check, cleaning, and servicing. As I was expecting, it is on life support. She was very thorough with the inspection and provided pictures of the many problem areas as well as maintenance recommendations to keep it alive as long as possible. I highly recommend Channel, she knows what she's doing.

Awesome Job! Donovin demonstrated high level of knowledge, charisma, and struck me as a man filled with the Holy Spirit. His attention to detail, answering questions, and showing a genuine spirit of aloha was very refreshing! Honestly think they don't make 'em like this anymore! Mahalo! P.S.: Company owner should really think about making Donovin a Junior Partner. Best is yet to come...

Island Comfort has been great to us in the past but we always had to get past an employee named Kari. The last time we tried to get a repair done she kept pushing the cleaning, but it made no sense to clean a unit that wasn't working. I didn't want to get stuck paying for a cleaning if it couldn't be fixed. This time I was scheduled for a 1pm appointment on a Monday but they canceled (wife stayed home all day), so I rescheduled for Wednesday. I got a text on Tuesday from Kari to please give her a call to confirm details and keep me on the schedule. I called and I asked why I had to call in and confirm when they cancelled on Monday. No new details were discussed, and then she said she wasn't going to go round and round and asked if I still wanted to have my unit serviced, said she wasn't going to be yelled at, and I admit I wasn't speaking monotone but I wasn't yelling. Now I have to hope and pray I receive her call or text when the technician is ready to come to my house between 12-2pm or I guarantee I will get passed over. Just show up at the time you agree to be there!

Three separate times now in the last week we have called for diagnostic service of a split ac unit. Twice we were given service windows for the appointment, but never got a confirmation phone call and no one showed up. Once they said they would call the next day to set up an appointment and never did. The second and third time we called we were told that we were marked a "urgent". I don't know how a company with customer service like that stays in business. There are too many options for AC companies on island to put up with this one. Cherry on top is we have a house full of family in town to meet our newborn and we can't even all be in the same room together because everyone is miserable.

Had a deep cleaning for first time after over 5 yrs and my split unit is working amazing. Every night I feel like it's a blizzard in my room, Ac blowing strong in my face and like new. Our tech was very nice and informative, knowledgeable in what he does. I always wanted a deep clean but never got around to it till i was stopped in lowes who was offering a great deal of just a little over $100 for the deep clean. I even had to reschedule my cleaning due to work and they assisted me in that and kept the deal. I ended up signing up for the twice a year maintenance for a few yrs to keep my unit going strong and to just maintain it as the tech said our unit had some growth/mold. Would be nice if they changed plan to be able to pay as you go when they come for maintenance but the plan required all costs up front. Still a Great investment though. Happy with their service.

Ethan at Island Comfort HVAC was awesome to work with! He was super informative, answered all the questions I had, and explained things in a way that made sense. The price was really fair too, which I appreciated. Overall, just a great experience. Highly recommend him if you need AC or heating help!
