I have a Grant filter which is slightly leaking. Plumber wanted to charge me £340 to supply and fit the filter. I contacted Grant and they sent me a 'service kit' with spare washers and fittings.....all Free of charge. Great service and saved me a shed load of Dosh!! Thank you Grant UK.

As an Oftec registered engineer I always specify Grant oil boilers and have done so for many years, I even installed one in my own home. All in all they are a great company with great products. Highly reccomended.

I have been fitting Grant products for a number of years and have always found them to be really helpful - in paticular John Morris & Rob Dyer are always at hand whenever needed to help with any issues, they always listen to the installer and are willing to adapt new products to help make installation & design easier for installers. A breath of fresh air in an industry where installers aren't being listened to.

Absolutely terrible product and company. We had a Grant VortexBlue internal condensing oil burner with a Riello burner box fitted a year and a half ago. It failed in October last year. After countless phone calls to the service desk and five engineer visits, Grant finally changed the burner box. Prior to this they had changed most of the rest of the parts in the boiler, some of which were defective. Now in February 2023, the boiler has failed again and we are back where we were last October and I really can’t face the thought of going through that same process to ‘fix’ the fault again. We’ll probably just go for a replacement boiler, but I don’t expect Grant to refund the one we have (I’ll update if they do). I’m taking the time to write this so others can avoid the frustration we have experienced with Grant. They may once have had solid and reliable products but not the case with what we bought. Even our installers who are Grant accredited have acknowledged serious issues with this boiler. I recommend you look elsewhere.

We had a grant pellet boiler installed and it has performed terribly. We have spent a lot on maintenance over the last 7 years. We had a 2 year warranty and it was fine for that time. This year, for example, we had a full service in May and then it broke down in October and still isn't fixed now, so we had a whole winter with heating that we had to manually top up every day. I keep asking for a discount on our latest bill but just keep getting told that I am out of warranty so therefore just have to pay the bills. I suspect we will have to remove the boiler and install a new one. Boilers should last more than 5 years!!

Grant boiler are good boilers but impossible to purchase. They are CONSTANTLY out of stock of combi boilers. Turning engineers to go to the much inferior Worcester boilers. Pull your finger out Grant, upscale your production facilities.

Boilers been faulty since day 1, we had a grant vortex blue boiler installed and it has no worked properly since day 1, alot of the time the setting gets stuck on hot water and won't switch over to heating, spoke to grant about this and because the boiler wasn't registered in the first 30days we have no warranty, which we didn't know as the installer told us it was registered and since he's disappeared. We payed almost £4000 for a boiler that doesn't do it job and grant won't do anything about it. Not even call over to confirm the fault. Rubbish customer service, they used to be a really good company.

Hybrid Air Heat Source Heat Pump I purchased a Grant I8Kw Hybrid Air Source Heat Pump last year. For anyone who doesn't know, it is a combination of the air sourceheat pump and oil boiler, the idea being the oil kicks in when the air source heat pump is struggling to reach temperature. After many months of discussions with the installer, LH Cook and Sons and Grant, I have reached the conclusion the Heat pump is not up to the job. Now the cold weather has come the boiler is running on oil most of the time. I have tried to get a representative from Grant to check the boiler has been install correctly with no luck and LH Cook are learning on the Job. I haven't received a sign off from either company for a job that cost me £16k, that's really not good.

I can highly recommend Grant oil boilers. The key is to have the boiler correctly specified and installed to avoid common issues you may find online. I have been installing Grant boilers for over 12 years and never had any problems. The company is very helpful when specifying their Hybrid and air source heat pump range.

We've had a Grant Combi boiler for 9 years. In that time it's cost me a fortune to keep 'on the road'. In fact we spend more every year on the boiler that we do our 2 cars! Now, after 9 years of financial pain and constantly having to top up the thing the service engineer has told me the water jacket has completely corroded. This part isn't replaceable so it's new boiler time! I have appealed to Grant who have said that it's not their problem, it's the installers fault (even though they've admitted to changing the boiler design since ours was installed to overcome problems!). They've passed me back to the installer who has appealed to the Grant sales manager who is going to call me with an offer. That was 4 weeks ago and we've still not heard from him. We now have a new Worcester boiler and our house has never been warmer!!! DO NOT BUY A GRANT. VERY POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Dreadful, do not expect any customer service from this company. Grant sold me a faulty boiler.....it took several months at my cost.....to establish that it had a cracked heat exchanger and what did they do? They lost my complaint paperwork.....forgot to call out one of their Engineers to look at the problem (whoops they do not have their own engineers, they sub-contract!) and then lost the paperwork again!!! Their own representative has been to site agreed there was a fault and then Grant sent me paperwork asking me to waive my consumer rights in advance of rectifying the matter!!!!. Grant did nothing to cover my reasonable costs, offered a replacement heat exchanger (if I waived my rights), required me to arrange the return of the boiler (including placing it on a pallet) but would only contribute £250 towards labour to re-install.....All of which will be reposted to Which Magazine with full correspondence avoid this company like the plague and buy a boiler from another manufacturer who respects consumer rights

Boiler was installed by accredited installer over 6 months ago. Had a terrible oil smell from the start, was told this would disappear. Still the same smell in house now. Numerous visits from engineers trying to fix it, but to no avail. How is it possible not be able to diagnose and fix your own boiler with such an obvious problem. Now being told that Grants are not accepting liability any fault and blame being put onto their accredited installer. Installer not returning calls and emails. What a bunch of incompetent engineers. I would not recommend Grants to anyone. They have failed to install their own boiler correctly, or are failing to accept that there is a manufacturing fault. Not willing to accept their liability under the terms of their '5 Year Warranty'. Trading Standards, Which? and other consumer advice outlets here I come.

Very happy with our Grant Aerona 10kW heat pump. Grant customer service and technical support is outstanding.

Very poor customer service and overall experience using Grants. The boilers themselves are good. However the customer service is shocking. First of all, they massively over-specced and ended up selling us two boilers for an area we only need one for. When I got hold of the calculations for them, they didn't add up. Doing my own calculations I soon realised they had made massive errors and sold me two boilers when I needed one. I have sent lots and lots of emails over several months to their support and they keep ignoring me and will not reply. This company has totally ripped me off, I wonder how many others they have done this to? I have a copy of all emails and calculations from Grants which I am in the process of setting up a website for where I am going to publish all proof and information for them ignoring me. If Grants ever come back and reply to my emails then I will consider updating this review to reflect, until then STAY AWAY.

Picked up some spare parts, helpful and friendly staff, only been there a few times. They can install, maintain and repair Grant Boilers. If you had a Grant installed and there is a problem, you can call them and they can sort it out.

Having an oil boiler fitted at the moment, was asked to buy a Grant by the plumber, have always fitted Worcester in the past. Bought a 15/26 utility which must be one of their most popular sizes and which is supposed to offer four outputs depending on the jet fitted. The outputs are 15,20,23 and 26kW. I was planning to use 20kW to give a bit of headroom for future extensions but I was irritated to find (after reading the detailed installation instructions) that to make use of the the two lower outputs a different blast tube must be purchased and is not supplied. In my opinion if the boiler is advertised as a 15/26 then the relevant parts should be supplied to provide this range of outputs. Grant must be close to breaching some aspect of consumer legislation, the advertised outputs cannot be achieved from the kit in the box. I phoned their technical department and of course they will not give an opinion on using the supplied blast tube at 15 or 20 kW. Very disappointed. Gavin

I have installed Grant Boilers over a period of around 15yrs, never had an issue with any of my installations. I am an OFTEC Oil Technician and highly rate Grant Oil Boilers. I am hoping to become a G One Installer which will benefit my customers further, with extended Warranties. No issues here for me...
Google
Beware. My new boiler cost me £3000 including installation and failed after 15 months. Grant did their best to convince me it was my system at fault and wanted to charge me for another new one! Customer service is dire and hope I never have to deal with them again.

Grant boilers are very rude and ignorant. I personally have been trying to arrange to obtain information from them for over a year now. They have the audacity not to reply to people. Thinking this is a good way to do business. Unfortunately it is not. In fact the opposite.
Google
Excellent service. Really helpful on the phone with technical questions. Service engineer was also very helpful too. Not just knowledgeable but able to share the relevant knowledge to ensure we continue to get the best from our ASHP. Thanks Grant!

A twin panel hot water system has been bedeviled with problems for the last almost three years due largely to poor installation by "recommended" engineers. Finally called out Grants own engineer. Within 15 minutes Neil had resolved the issue and the system is now up and running and so am !!!! Well done Neil.
Google
I’ve been waiting 14 weeks for an engineer to visit despite being told that I was prioritised. Absolutely terrible service.
Google
Good product ... excellent customer service when registering. This is the second Grant boiler I have purchased as I feel they are the best on the oil boiler market.

Nice place to deliver too
