WARNING TO HOMEOWNERS: This contractor performed work without a valid CT trade license. I hired Edify LLC through a professional referral, and the resulting installation failed 5 safety inspections. I later discovered through the CT Department of Consumer Protection that the contractor did not receive his license until 02/09/2026?long after he performed the work. Furthermore, he holds a D-1 Limited license, which is insufficient for high-pressure boiler systems. HomeAdvisor should verify the issuance dates of licenses, not just current status. My home was left in a hazardous state, and I had to pay a legitimate S-1 Master over $1,000 to fix the code violations.
