Atlantic Mechanical replaced our HVAC system. Kevin came to our home for a thorough inspection of our old units before giving us a detailed and fairly priced quote. We did not have to wait long for the installation which was done over 2 days as we were replacing 2 large units. The 4 workers on the job were prompt, professional & polite. There was virtually no mess to clean up when they were done. My husband & I were very happy with the service we received from AMI.

I use them every year for maintenance and on occasion, for service and repairs. Professional and knowledgeable. The service staff is very friendly.

We have been using Atlantic Mechanical for our AC maintenance since we moved into our new home in 2018. The team does great work and is very knowledgeable. They identified issues and fixed them right away. Will always explain what is causing a problem and what is needed to fix it. Scheduling is very easy and the team is very responsive and friendly. We will continue using Atlantic Mechanical for our home needs and we highly recommend them to others!

Called them late during a hot day and they called me back very first thing next morning. Owner said he had the part and could get there later that afternoon. Tech that shower up was courteous and said he could get it back up and running in no time. Had to be almost 100 degrees out while guy was working. He got it done and made it happen. They were no nonsense guys and made it happen.

Matt was incredibly helpful, patient, and meticulous. Helped me find the part I needed to repair my AC, which saved me a bunch on an otherwise expensive repair. Couldn't be happier.

<p>Repair did not hold, would not warranty repair.  Yes, its an older system, but felt they were more interested in selling me a replacement boiler and system than dealing with the problem at hand.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Rated them a B (not C) based on prior experiences, where they were prompt and helpful.  The last experience with them was very difficult.</p> <br />

I no longer live in Massachusetts but i used Atlantic Mechanical for the last 2 years i owned a house in Newton. I had lived in the house for 26 years but had never found an HVAC company that really excelled. Some were competent but were not at all proactive about contacting me at appropriate times to schedule preseason checkups. Despite the fact that they come from Weymouth, they seemed not to mind the distance. They were professional, prompt, had good pricing, helped us find a good source for our hard-to-find filters, and did good repair work as needed. I probably tried 7 or 8 different HVAC companies in my time in Newton and they were the best. <br />

We signed up for an introductory $100 maintenance agreeement in November 2011 to service our furnace and a/c unit when National Grid no longer offered this service.  Brian came to our house in November 2011 to service our gas furnace and again in May 2012 to service our a/c unit.  On both visits Brian was both professional and personable. His knowledge and thoroughness was impressive. He took the time to explain the maintenance work he performed and made suggestions on what we could do to improve the efficiency of our system. Never did he try to sell us things we didn't need etc. Brian is someone I would trust in my home and would hire again. When I received the letter from Atlantic Mechanical that my service agreement needed to be renewed, I did not hesitate to call.  When they told me the price went up to $155, again I didn't hestitate. Worth every penny! Signing up for this service was easy and Linda who schedules the appointments is a pleasure! <br />

Our home's radiant heat was breaking down pretty much every week and needed to be replaced. We called 5 different contractors to give us their ideas and  submit estimates. The estimate from Atlantic was one of the two lowest (one other quote was in the same ballpark, but others were literally thousands more). We ultimately selected Atlantic because Chris, our contact from Atlantic, was incredibly careful and thorough when coming to assess our house and give us an estimate. He answered questions honestly and was very knowledgeable and realistic about our needs. <br /> <br /> We selected Atlantic, signed a contract, and set a date for installation. Then, our old system gave out completely during a cold snap a few days before they were scheduled to come. Atlantic was able to move up our installation date in response. We were very grateful for their flexibility as it saved us from a very cold weekend! <br /> <br /> The installation crew was professional, prompt, and courteous. They answered all of my questions and took time to explain the things they were doing. Installation took only a day and a half, including removing the old boiler. They cleaned up everywhere they worked. One crew member was even kind enough to fix my dryer vent when he noticed it was getting crushed by a drain pipe in the utility room. Chris was present during the installation, made sure we were happy with the heat before he let the crew go, and then came back the following week for the city inspection. The new system works like it should and we are thrilled to have heat again. We will be contracting with Atlantic again to install central air as soon as we save the $$. <br /> <br /> Summary: These guys are cost-effective, personable, and they know what they are doing--basically exactly what you want from someone installing an important and costly system in your home. They really seem to value customer service and I would highly recommend them to anyone. For them, it really seems to be about making you happy before they call it done, and I really respect that. Also, they charged exactly what they said they would charge in the estimate.

I had to have them come back several times. They were alright, but it did not work out too well. They scraped the steps while carrying the old furnace out. After I complained they did return some money to me.

They were the lowest bidder of four companies we considered and had a good local reputation. They delivered a good finished job on time without complications and were very responsive to our questions. The three higher bidders were all from Angie's list

Install a Central Air Conditioning System Very professional and honest. They tried to first repair my old system, but unfortunately, it could not be done. They gave me a good price and they did an A1 job. They left my home in immaculate condition. I highly recommend this company. I called them to fix another smaller unit and they came right out and took care of it. I will not use anyone else! Rich is the man! Less
