Stable Temp HVAC

This company operates in bad faith, advertising comprehensive services for low prices and once an appointment occurs pulling a bait and switch, demanding more money for services that were supposed to be included in packages per their website. I booked an AC Tune-Up for $89 which was supposed to include a condenser coil cleaning per their website description. When the technician arrived he informed me that the condenser coil cleaning was an additional charge and would cost over $300. I contacted their office to ask for remediation and they confirmed that they're operating in bad faith and claimed that when an appointment is booked for an AC Tune-Up there's a different description provided which indicates the service is merely to "check air conditioner parts and functions" which is not only untrue but even if it were true, would be admission that they're operating in bad faith. I will be taking this matter to court if I'm not offered a full reimbursement. I'm surprised to see so many positive reviews if this is the manner in which they operate...

It was VERY hot here in San Diego around August to September - We live in a 1 bed/1 bath condo and had NO air conditioning. It was miserable! So we decided to look into getting AC. We had a problem with the layout of our condo so we knew we had to find a problem solving company. With soo many AC companies to choose from here in SD we were a little overwhelmed. We knew we wanted to get a few quotes from different places so we asked about 8 companies to give us a quote. For the most part most were good but some were not and some were VERY overpriced. The last company we asked was Stable Temp HVAC. It took the other quotes for us to realize how professional and informative these experts are! They stayed longer and gave us way more information than the others. Dmitriy answered all our questions and gave the right recommendations. When it came to pricing he was straightforward and honest. From gathering all the other quotes they were about the middle price and I am glad we found them. We also have an HOA and they provided all the documents required very quickly so our plan was approved right away. On the day of installation they were on time and ready! They were very cautious with everything in the home and always professional. We now have AC in our condo with our new nest system and we are both very happy customers. Our air conditioning went out with a heatwave approaching. In a panic I thought 1) I wouldn't be able to find anyone to service it and 2) it would cost me an emergency fee. I called the top 3 vendors with an A+/A rating and two of them while they claim they can conduct a service call on the same day, they in fact could not. Next day service was really more like 3 days or a week later. Stable Air Conditioning was my third call and it went VM. Before I could leave a VM, I had an incoming call and it was Stable. They were very responsive and helpful and could come out and fix the problem next day! I got an appt window and I received a followup text immediately stating that my technician would be Ivan. The next day, I received a text communicating that Stable was on the way. Then immediately following, the technician, Ivan called when he was on his way. We are a no-shoes household and when Ivan arrived and I asked, had booties in his bag and was happy to put them on. Ivan really took his time to really get to diagnose the issue - transformer failure! Luckily he had one with him specific for our unit. Ivan was able to get us all buttoned up and the air conditioning back up and running! I would recommend Stable to anyone looking for friendly, efficient service! Will use them always!! We had several companies come out and give us a bid on installing a new HVAC system and Stable Temp was by far the most affordable! They also had the best option for a split system that is smaller and extremely quiet. They worked tirelessly to finish the job in one day and when we had the inspection there were only a couple small details that needed to be covered and they came out immediately when I emailed them about it. We would definitely recommend Stable Temp Air Solutions to all our neighbors and friends!

This was the second time I had Stable Temp to my house. In Feb 2020 one fellow installed (replaced) three ceiling exhaust fans. Great job then too.

I interviewed 4 HVAC companies for my dual mini split project. These guys were the first to bid cause they responded the quickest on Yelp. Dimitri came out to give me a quote. Knowledgeable and straight up, but very personable. He was on time and continued to communicate with me throughout the bidding process. I had a bunch of questions too. Im really glad I went with Vlad. He's the owner and Ivan came out that day too during the install. Super chill dudes and they arrived on time. Very conscientious about doing good clean work and took the time even though late in the day to explain the set up and system for me. I'm now sitting on my couch writing this review with comforting heat blowing on me. So nice.

Professional. Quick to find problem and fix.

Stable Temp was great. I had 3 top-rated companies submit a quote for work and Stable Temp was the only one willing to replace our A/C vent in our narrow attic. Everyone else wanted to charge us 2-5X to have either an additional unit added or to tear holes in our attic - and told us replacing the vent with our current setup couldn't be done. Stable Temp replaced our existing, old vent that was leaking air with a new, larger vent that has an air controller valve so we can modulate air flow to our trouble room. A very cost-effective and efficient solution to our problem that the other companies were not willing to do. Stable Temp arrived promptly for the free estimate and work, explained how our A/C unit was setup and walked through the options, listened to us when we asked for the lowest cost option, and did a great job installing the new vent and cleaning up after themselves.

Stable Temp was prompt and professional. Their installers were great and we love our new system.

Dimitry, Vlad and the rest of the crew were very efficient, and extremely clean. We needed to figure out how to bring better heating and cooling to a second story building. They came up with a great solution and also did a couple extra fixes to the duct work and registers. They installed a new furnace and air conditioning compressor. I plan on using them for my future projects

It went really well. They fixed it quickly. They were able to respond the very same day I called them. It was perfect.

The process was great. We initially had an issue with the HOA and they were professional when explaining how we could accomplish the installation with respect to the HOAs needs. Prompt in responses and follow up questions after everything was done. Most other contractors I’ve had are one and done. But Ivan and his team were great and I have them booked for another upcoming project. Highly recommend

I was concerned because the quote I got was cheaper than everyone by a lot. But Ivan did a quick job, was careful with my house, and noticeably perfect AC and heat. My brother who is a builder looked and said that the job was done perfectly. Highly recommend!

Stable Temp has done more than 10 brand new systems for me and has repaired at least 8 systems. The home inspectors love his work and so do we. He is very polite and curtious and backs up his work.
