The first time I encountered the fine folks at Galaxy Heating, Air Conditioning, Solar, Electrical (a name as expansive and capable as the Milky Way itself), I was plunged into literal darkness, thanks to my charmingly unreliable condo association wiring. A lesser outfit might have tiptoed around the issue, or charged me a princely sum for merely turning on a flashlight. Not Galaxy. No, they swept in, diagnosed the issue with all the confidence of a seasoned exorcist, and banished the electrical demons with skill, speed, and a price that didn’t require me to sell a soul. Naturally, when my four-year-old, high-end, pedigree Trane air conditioning system -- yes, the kind you buy when you’re assured it will outlive the pyramids-- decided to keel over in the middle of a heatwave, I was less than thrilled. The original installers? Based in Vacaville. Delightful town, dreadful timing. They couldn’t even look at it for a week. A week, my darlings. In Satan’s sauna. Unacceptable. But then… a twinkle in the infernal void. I remembered Galaxy. I rang them, and quicker than you can say, "why is it suddenly 95 degrees indoors?", they sent Paul D., a man who radiates calm competence and the faint whiff of ozone. He diagnosed the issue, a failed capacitor in the compressor, with all the precision of a surgeon and had it fixed faster than I could chill a Negroni. Once again, the price was so reasonable I nearly felt guilty. At this point, I don’t care if the original system still has a warranty, a tattooed guardian angel, and a love letter from the manufacturer. If something goes wrong, I’m not calling them. I’m calling Galaxy. Because I don’t want excuses. I want cool air, working lights, and professionals who know what they’re doing. So here’s to you, Galaxy: a rare constellation of promptness, honesty, and sheer technical prowess. The technician Paul was friendly and knowledgeable in the A/C field. He pretty quickly determined the cause of my A/C problems through a systematic, easiest to hardest method. He found that my contactor in the compressor had burned out and he replaced it. He, also, did a great job of wrapping the cracked hose from the compressor to the house in tape.

Excellent customer service! Called team out to repair dryer - they made it spin, but it still didn’t heat when they left. Came back and fixed it at no charge, super apologetic. Our dishwasher happened to break in the time between the two dryer visits - they told us it was dead for good, so they charged us only half of the diagnostic cost (not sure if it was also a make good for having to come back a second time for the dryer, but we were grateful!) Will definitely be using this company again in the future!

Their service is great. Let me tell you a story, so the other day my air conditioner in my house broke, and then i was like what can i do. I gave these people a call and they responded in a timely fashion and gave me a quote quickly. After that they came by and fixed it quickly and professionally.To conclude their work they offered me a discount. This service was great.

Really good service for a fair price. I had a problem with my dishwasher. Called these guys up based on yelp reviews. They came 15 minutes into the 2 hour window they gave me, diagnosed the problem very quickly and fixed it even faster. But the best things about them are 1) I didn't feel ripped off, and 2) they didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing how to resolve it myself. Thanks guys!

Excellent service from this company I highly recommended it to all I across a lot of issues regarding my baking gas oven and gave this company a call. They showed up pretty promptly afterwards and gave me a great quote. Ali my technician was fantastic, he fixed all the problems with door switches . Now everything is running perfect. called this business after reading good reviews and must agree with them. called to have my fridge checked out-had no problem getting an appt which was followed up on and I was notified before the tech arrived.(ratmirI believe) showed up spent approx 2 hours checking it out explaining everything he did at a more than reasonable charge especially compared to others I've dealt with. would definitely recommend them and wouldn't hesitate to use them again

Our stove stopped working galaxy appliance repair came out, he was very thorough in checking out to find what the problem was. He pretty much took the whole oven apart. He found the part that was needed To be replaced. He described what was wrong and how much it would cost to Fix the stove. I would definitely use them again very professional and courteous.

Prompt response to fix capacitor issue.. gave me a quote over the phone on potential cost for repair of the capacitor.. showed up in the next 30 mins and then replaced capacitor within minutes. Very professional and got the job done right. You get what you pay for.
