Work was completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Techs were able to adjust quickly when I added the second repair at the last minute.

The work was adequate, for the most part. Management was as bad as it gets.  <br /> I provided a list of things to be addressed prepared by the house inspector prior to purchase. The list was very detailed, with pictures. During the initial contact, I asked the project manager to use the list and give me the price on all items on the list. He promised to have a quote ready the next day. <br /> As I was waiting for this work to be done before moving in, I called two days later to see if the proposal was sent. It was not. And the next day. And the next... I finally got a proposal a week later. The price looked better than another proposal I had gotten, so I had them start work. When the technicians came to do the work and I started to go over what needed to be done, I realized that the project manager did not include much of my list in the proposal. The price, as it turned out, was WAY over the other proposal. Being anxious to move in, I had the techs start the work. Meanwhile, the project manager would not return my calls. <br /> After the technicians were done with about half the work, the project manager started calling me and asking to give him a list of things that were completed and what still remained to be done. Maybe I'm being unreasonable here, but I signed on to be a customer, not a foreman. I should have been the one asking what remains to be done and he the one answering that question. <br /> To put the final nail in their coffin, the garage door opener panel didn't work after they had installed the unit I purchased. They refused to call Chamberlain to go through a troubleshooting checklist Chamberlain required to replace the part, saying that it is a bad part and they aren't responsible. I had to do the troubleshooting myself. As it turned out, Samson techs didn't take insulation of one of the wires completely, causing a bad contact. And a second project manager that came out to get a check didn't even bother to take the screws off to check the contact. <br /> I wouldn't call them again if they were the only handyman service left in Georgia. <br /> <br />

A very fai price and was able to meet a very short deadline. Excellent work! I will use them again! <br />

Service was great!  A 21 year old ceiling fan quit working in the upstairs Master Bedroom, an area of the house that heats up quickly during summer months.  I was hoping to be able to find someone available within a week to install the new fan.  Mark was accommodating and prompt to fit me in to his schedule within TWO DAYS!  What a pleasant suprise to finally find someone dependable, knowledgeable and concerned about doing the job right.  I will definitely contact Samson Handyman for future projects! <br /> Thanks for the great service! <br />

Came back next night installed new fixture (which is awesome).  Will be using them again for other items around the house.

Our one year old puppy chewed up our stairs and tore pieces of the carpeting. So we decided to call Samson since they had done such a great job of painting the interior of our home.  The day of the job they showed up on time and went right to work. The job took a few days because the stair treads were custom painted. The landing was not to my liking only because I'm extremely picky but Mike was very accommodating and re-sanded the landing and gave it a darker coat. When the project was finalized the end result was beautiful!!  I highly recommend  Samson Handyman Services. I felt very comfortable leaving to work while they work in my home. They are very trustworthy and the nicest people you will ever meet.

Very courteous, on time and professional.  Needed a repair on large chandelier in our 2 story entry, that we were unable to reach.  He spent about 3 hrs total, with repair, cleaning & running to the store for a part.  Very pleased, saved us the cost of a new chandelier & install.  Would use again. <br />

I had used Samson previously to replace the roof on my home. They did such a great job I decided to use them again for a couple of updates I needed. I have several broken tiles in my kitchen counter that needed to be replaced and the interior walls painted a neutral color. The tile was old and it turned out that it is no longer produced. Mark found the closest matching tile and repaired all of the broken tiles. It turned out very good considering. The interior walls had wallpaper and in some rooms very dark colored paint. I originally requested to have all of the wallpaper removed and then painted. Mark stated they can do that, but wanted to offer an alternate option. He advised that in many cases, removing the wallpaper can damage the drywall and then the drywall needs to be repaired. He suggested they spackle over the wallpaper and even out the walls and then paint. He stated many companies do this and when done right, you will notice nothing. He also advised it would be less expensive. I opted for his suggestion and it turned out better than I can even describe. You cannot tell there was ever wallpaper and the paint was perfect. Mark is very knowledgeable and provides options to choose from and I walked away learning a lot more. I cannot say enough good things about Samson. <br />

Mark came out and assessed the roof. He was very friendly and forthcoming about what needed to be done. He even suggested that I contact at least 2 other roofing companies to compare prices. He advised what I should look out for when contacting the other companies (i.e. will they remove the old roofing material or leave it and place new roofing over it). After contacting other companies, I decided to go with Samson. They came out on the day they said they would and advised it would take 3-4 days. They were done in less than 3 days despite finding 4 layers of old roofing that needed to be removed prior to them beginning work. They cleaned up and hauled the discarded roofing off. My roof looks awesome. I finally joined Angie's List just so I could leave a review. <br />

We had an expanding wet spot in our ceiling over our bathroom. Any plumber would probably have started with cutting the ceiling, but this company actually looked for the source of the leak before it came to that. It turned out to be an unsealed drain in the bathtub, which was fixed promptly and what could have been a very expensive repair was very inexpensive. They repainted the spot in the ceiling and it looks like it was never there. They have replaced rotting wood and done repairs to the fence around our house. Recently, we bought a new house with a multitude of problems, including a sunroom with a bad roof and leaking skylights. Mark and his crew removed all layers of old shingles/flashing, replaced all five skylights, installed new shingles and flashing. They also repaired the ceiling on the inside of the sunroom as well as several other repairs, such as rot around windows and along the roof line. <br /> They are extremely reasonable and honest, work around our schedule, and are always concerned about customer satisfaction. Every job they have done for us has come in right at budget or below. We are more than satisfied, and highly recommend them for any job you need done! <br />
