Hamsters installed my unit probably 7 or 8 years ago. They gave me a fair quote and did a great job on the install. Their customers service is OUTSTANDING. Very responsive. Every technician that has been here has been extremely professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I think they are a 5 stars plus company.

Excellent interaction. John came on time to give us an estimate. Colton and Juan did the installation. Very nice young men. Arrived on time were neat and professional. Cleaned up after the work was finished. Installation neat and meticulous.

The work went fine. It took no more than two hours. Then he asked for $1000.00 for his work. He then changed that to a high $900.00 and we paid him with a credit card. We were shocked! Obviously, we should have called a couple more places before we hired Hamstra. This was last March, 2019. We've installed another unit this year and this time I called other companies in our area. I was told $75.00 an hour; and it could take about 3 hours. I told him about our last experience and he said "You were taken". I called Hamstra today to get a quote for the same work they did last year. I was told they didn't do that anymore: and it could have been a friend of the company's owner who did our job last year. Even if that's the case, it's bad business. We're EXTREMELY unhappy with Hamstra!!!

We receive yearly inspections on our heating unit and our AC unit. I don't follow them around while they are here, I pay a flat rate and trust they know what they are doing. They are personable, punctual, and explained their findings and presented recommendations. Can't ask for anything more!

They did an excellent job; so much so, that we now have a routine maintenance contract with them. With the contract we get priority service, which we have had occasion to use recently. For the routine servicing Hamstra is very good about sending out reminders, flexible with scheduling, and arriving within the scheduled time slot.

Outstanding process! From design, sale, scheduling install, install work, owner training, followup visits. All within 2 weeks of my first call.

Great! Joe gave us the best service possible. Honest and informed, he helped me understand how to program the thermostat and got us linked to online access.

After inspecting the heating/cooling unit on the roof of my daughter's house Hamstra gave her an estimate of over $4000.00 to repair the unit. The technician never mentioned the caps were off the unit, nor that the unit was NOT broken! Hamstra took complete advantage of a young woman who knew nothing about heating and cooling and had no qualms about charging her for essentially nothing. The unit was repaired by a different company for $300.00. Stay away from this company!

Perhaps the best service call I've ever had. Mr. Taylor Law, the technician was absolutely superb. Extremely professional, thorough and knowledgeable, and above all, exceptionally personable and patient. He spent over two (2) hours working on repairing a leak, and he was consistently calm and kept me informed of the issues he was repairing. I would never consider another technician than Mr. Law. He's a real superstar. Sure hope Hamstra realizes this and never lets him leave. This is an A+ company, and I'd recommend them to anyone who asks. Great service and the scheduling was done within a few days. Everyone with whom I spoke was extremely polite, professional, and helpful. They followed up very well. Great experience without a doubt. Use Hamstra and ask for Mr. Law.

The installation went very smoothly and the new system is working well. For this project and for a couple service calls before we decided to replace, Hamstra has been very responsive and the technicians are always polite and professional.

Every 6 months they are out. The contract is $700 per year. They come twice a year for summer and winter. They're good and they did the original installation in this house and they maintain it well. It usually takes between 2 and 4 hours depending on what they find, how many guys that come, and how much cleaning they have to do and all that stuff.

They're very professional and upbeat. They are always very nice and very good with what they do. When you call the office they are very accommodating. If you have to change an appointment, it is fine.

We have a heating contract with them. I think they're pretty comparable. Our annual service contract is around $700 and so they didn't charge any more. They come out twice a year for heating and air conditioning. We have an unusual situation in our home because we have 3 air conditioning units because we have a 3 story house. Each story has it's own air conditioner. They always have to remember to bring a 40 ft. ladder because the air conditioning unit is on the top floor which is 40 feet high. They are very good at making sure they are prepared when they come here.

Excellent in every way. This is the third HVAC system that Hamstra has installed in our two homes in the last 17 years of service, along with annual maintenance. Every step of the process is thorough & seamless. From the first contact, scheduling, estimating, engineering, installation & follow up, the staff does a wonderful job. We wouldn't think of calling anyone else.

They did the emergency work on my air conditioner for me when the condenser coil went out on it and they came out and replaced it. They came out and fixed my air conditioner which at the time was inoperable. They were very kind. I believe at the time I had to pay for that service and everything was about $400 or $500. Given the fact that it was an emergency and during the hot time of the year out here when they were very busy, I would say an A for price. They were the first ones to come out to actually do the work. They were very understanding.

There was just one person. The work took about two to three hours to complete. When they installed it, I started noticing it was leaking. They came out and they repaired, tightened up, and it stopped leaking. It was no extra charge. They left the area very clean. Even took the hot water heater away. They came out, gave me an estimate, emailed it to me the same day. I think less than an hour, everything is computerized. I got it, and made my appointment, and they came out, and got it done.

It didn't take long at all for the estimate. He inspected it, and looked at it. I kind of new I needed one. He told me I needed a new one, because of the bottom of it. The hot and cold goes out when it was down a long time. Did I drain the water heater, no I didn't drain it. He said, I had some time, but I needed one. It was reasonable. I had checked around. I looked on Angie's List website, and decided to go with them.
