In January 2020, Air Service replaced my furnace blower motor and cleaned my HVAC ducts. The next day, I had them return to investigate a weird new furnace noise. They found no explanation and the noise eventually stopped. Five years later I hired a different company to clean the ducts, and they found the reason for the weird noice: Air Service had used cardboard (pictured below) to keep debris out of my furnace during their cleaning - AND LEFT IT THERE. When I informed the owner of Air Service about this mistake, she blamed a tech who no longer worked for them. No apology. After that I requested a refund for their service, which had reduced airflow output and placed additonal pressure on my HVAC system for over 5 years. No response. For 6 months I left messages and emailed back and forth with two Air Service owners (Debbie, then Joyce), and got nothing but run-around. Two months ago I sent a certified letter reiterating everything that had happened and threatened magistrate court to recover the $550 refund and increased utility costs. No response. I think Morgantown residents deserve better.

I have used Air Service of WV since 1988 for HVAC and whole house generator services. They have always been responsive and provided good service.

We had a fantastic experience with this air conditioning repair service. They arrived fast, were extremely polite, and most importantly knowledgeable. I called the company and was placed on the schedule the next day. My service technician was Jason, and I cannot say enough about his service and professionalism. He took time to explain my options and answered all my questions in terms I could understand. I am 100% satisfied with their service, and recommend them highly.

My heat pump was freezing up around the outside about 3/4 of the way up. A tech came out from Air Services on Thur. I needed Freon and he cleaned my filters. So he said everything else looked good. So $259.70 latter he leaves. It was on the warmer side for a day and it ran great. Once it got below 36 it froze up again but this time it froze up the whole way. I called back on Sat and left a message. I got a call back and was told he could come out but it would be overtime pay!!! REALLY!!!! It's not my fault your tech guy didn't fix it right after he charged me $259.70. He told me they were opened on Monday Christmas Eve day until 12 PM and they could come out then. I get a call on Monday morning and I'm told that even though they were opened there was no Tech there to do service calls and if someone did come out it would be overtime. Really!!!! I don't understand this logic. I paid $170.00 labor and it is not even fixed. I made an appointment for Wed after Christmas. The more I though about the situations the more upset I got upset. I have cancelled my appointment on Wed and have called someone else to come out. I gave one stars because it wouldn't allow me to post with zero stars marked. What do you all care if I have to run my electricity up by running on emergency heat setting.

Zack, Greg, Roger and Sam have all been great and extremely helpful. Zack and Greg went up and beyond with a recent repair and ended up staying (very) late until the job was done! They could’ve very easily stopped what they were doing, as it was past 5pm on a Friday night and came back the next day, but they did not….they worked until 9pm until the job was done. In my experience, you’d be very unlikely to find this level of professionalism and courtesy anywhere else. Nate is likewise, a valuable asset to the company and has been very helpful and personable whenever I have called. I highly recommend this business.

1/31/25 Zack is who I ask for when I need help with our unit. He is very good at explaining what the problem is and how to fix it. Nate in parts is another good guy. Both are polite and respectful to me.

From the the first visit they were friendly and helpful, giving me all my options for a new furnace. They even went out of their way to help me remove an old water heater. They cleaned up and went over everything with me. Most important, they were honest, courteous and timely.

Our air conditioning went out on the hottest week in summer. They fit us in & replaced our coil. When it still wasn’t working right they came back on a Friday night and worked until it was cold in our house. Cant thank them enough. Excellent techs, service, & pricing! Thanks guys!

Terrible customer service. They promise to return call to give an estimate but there is no effort to get in touch. Previous on site tech repair was efficient and fast. Very pleased with their service, but customer service is a joke.

Our technician Harvey came to work on our air conditioning unit the same day we called which was extremely convenient. Not only did he provide great care and fixed the problem he also showed us how to do maintenance on the unit and HVAC system in the house as well. We'd recommend Air Service of West Virginia to our friends.

Very honest company. Repaired my air conditioner on a hot day and only needed a capacitor which was replaced quickly. Even cleaned the unit for me at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!!

Air Service installed a mini split HVAC unit on my building within less than a week, from start to finish (actual install only took a day). Professional service and quality work!

Showed up within an hour of me calling and an hour later my ac was fixed. Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Will use them for further repairs

So far we having been waiting for two weeks this year after they came last year and did not fix our unit. Last week they cancelled because of weather. Wondering if it will be the same this week. It really sucks because the weather here is unpredictable and we would just like for them to show up and fix it
