Condon Total Comfort

My old duct system was such a hodgepodge from decades of DIY gone wrong. They came in and redesigned a complete new system for my house. Now I have all NEW duct work, furnace and central air. The system is efficient as they actually Paid attention to the airflow math. They also made adjustments upon request to cut costs. Absolutely great to work with!

THey were referred by a contractor. They were very professional and very responsive. I think we got a good product. There were a few problems, but they came back and corrected those.

I called this Company on a Saturday afternoon when my air conditioner stopped working. I had tried a few other companies, and no one could come out till the next week. I spoke to the on-call person at Total Air, and they sent someone within a few hours and my AC was up and working. I highly recommend them.

The most important thing they did was give a fair price for the job of replacing the old with a whole new system . The bid was definitely acceptable. The crew of two showed up when they said they would. Living in Florida everyone knows how brutal the heat can be. The two men worked all day replacing literally everything and never complained about anything. They did a great job and so glad the ac unit is working perfectly. This particular unit was installed at my daughters home. We used Total Comfort after we had a lightening strike and our unit had to be replaced. We also use their maintenance program to keep everything in top shape. Josh is I believe the supervisor and gave us the original bid at a fair price. We will continue doing business with this company. Thanks to the hard working men who worked on the installation . I trust this company.

We have dealt ONLY with Total Comfort for the past 20 years for our air conditioning/heating needs. The technicians are HONEST, don't over charge or have you do unnecessary repairs. I am the second generation utilizing Total Comfort and I know with confidence the work will ALWAYS be completed correctly at a fair price. TC stands by the warranties on their products and provide PROMPT service if or when a repair is required. The Service Technicians are very knowledgeable and professional at all times. It's a pleasure doing business with Total Comfort.

Great appreciation to Pat O'Hara who took the time to track down an a/c unit to replace one that was broken. I had been without a/c for over a week. The installer, Joe Beard, did an excellent job. He is very knowledgeable and patient. His project was to install a ductless high wall a/c unit. He made sure I understood all the controls. Total Comfort is a caring company.

My service person was Joe. He was prompt for the appointment. Once he began his trouble shooting ,he was very professional and knowledgeable.. He explained the tests he was performing and what he was looking for. I really appreciated that. Total Comfortsâ s office is very cordial and efficient. Most of service calls have occurred on the day I called. I highly recommend Total Comfort.

I have been with this company for 20 years, but in the last year something has gone awry. For my latest maintenance checkup, I re-arranged by schedule to accommodate their request for an 8-8:30 a.m. Saturday appointment. Their technician showed up 20 minutes late -- at 8:40 a.m. -- with a poor excuse for a mask hanging around his neck. I had to tell him to put it on. He replaced the air filter, with one I provided, and put it in backwards. He did not check the heating unit, even after 35 minutes in the basement looking at it, and then left. After he left, I checked the heater and it was no longer working (it had been the night before). They said they would send another technician out no sooner than 5 p.m. and would call ahead to let me know when he was on his way. He showed up at 4 p.m. unannounced. The problem was the thermostat, which the earlier technician would have known had he checked the heating unit. I was charged $240 for the new thermostat, which retails for around $50. Upon calling the company, I was told the extra $180 for the thermostat was for an extended warranty I did not want or ask for. The total bill for the thermostat, which took 15 minutes to install, was $454. Last year at this time, a technician showed up for my twice-yearly maintenance check and spent about 15 minutes doing basically nothing. I can only assume that the company has changed hands or gone through some sort of managerial change. I won't be doing business with them in the future. Too bad for them, since I need to replace both my heating and cooling units in months to come. Oh and neither the office manager or the billing person returned my telephone calls.

I feel confident that the work they did was a quality job and the peace of mind I get from this is comforting since I was unaware of the Electrical issues prior to my purchasing the house

Quick to respond to my inquiry. They had a convenient appointment times. They were prompt with their work. They answered all of my questions.

The guys knew their subject. Two men showed , they spent a lot of time talking about some other subject. The actual work time was about half of the total time. When they completed the first task they left behind a mess for clean up. I paid too much for the work.

On time, done in three hours, price was good. If I ever need an electrician in the future, i ll Know who to call.

I do not mean to criticize Total Comfort as such when I say that the charges made by electricians and plumbers generally are now so structured as to probably be prohibitive for many people. It leaves a bad taste to be charged $100 merely for the worker to come to the house and then another $40 for a half hour's work which was done in about 15 minutes. Much more and entrepreneurs in a free competitive market will come forward with alternatives for the homeowner.

He went out of his way to check on my total electrical system and to give me some advice.

I will always use Total Comfort for all my electrical jobs. Only in FL a short time & finally have contacted a company that is 100%.
