Highly recommend weatherization services ! Incredible not only did provide excellent service,but they also took the time to explain process in detail 100% recommend.

They did an excellent job.

I was not told in advance what needed to be done before their arrival which turned out to be approximately 45 minutes BEFORE the time they should have arrived. I was attempting to quickly pull the furniture away from the walls (which I was told to do upon their arrival) and as I was doing this, plastic sheeting was placed over everything, including the windows. I had to leave the house sooner than planned. I was told the job would be finished the same day at around 5:30. At about 4:30 I was contacted by phone and told they would be returning the following day to complete the work. I quickly returned home to speak with one of the workers as this had not been the plan. I was told that two workers had to leave after noon to assist at another project and there was not enough people to finish that day. I was not able to have them come over the following day and so after a few calls were made by one of the workers, I was told they would be able to finish that day but it would take a little longer. All of their supplies were returned from their vehicle to the house and the work was finished shortly thereafter. Upon completion, I was very surprised to see how much painting needed to be done due to the number of holes in the walls which had been patched, as I was told it would be. I was disappointed in the smooth texture of the repair work as compared to the texture of the rest of the walls. It is very noticeable even after I have repainted them. One of the plastic sheets was still on one of the curtains in one of the rooms and there was a small amount of insulation within a curtain. Overall, everything was well protected with the sheets that had been used. I will not know how efficient the insulated walls currently are until the weather gets much colder.

Devin was great from start to finish, informative and helpful. The crew was polite, efficient, on time, on budget and all work quickly passed inspection.

You know how they check your home for weatherization stuff, you know to see if you have enough insulation and how the windows are and how much heat is escaping it?The recommendations were pretty costly, and I didn't think I needed them. I didn't feel like all of the recommendations were necessary that's why I gave them an overall B.

The audit itself was definitely interesting and felt worth the money. Devin was friendly and informative during the audit. There is an area of concern though. When I bought the voucher from Angie's List, there was a survey about good times to schedule the audit. They made you pick three different times. All three that I picked were more than a week out and at least one was over two weeks out. I never received an email from them regarding the schedule survey. After a couple of weeks, I called the number on the voucher and easily scheduled an appointment for the following week. Devin and his trainee were right on time at 1pm. Tomorrow will be the two week marker since the audit and I haven't received my report yet. There seems to be an issue on the administrative end of this business.

It went very well. It was scheduled for a couple hours but only took about 1, which was plenty of time. He did a great job of explaining what he was doing, looking for, and how to change things. Very pleased with this service.

I filled out a survey twice, after I went through all of the work they rejected it. I said fine, I'm not going to fill it out anymore. They didn't really do the work, they just came in and showed us. The gu saw things when he took the pictures, and what the pictures was before he took it, so we found out what areas. When he was doing it, he said that he will send out a thing and it will have all these pictures in it. Through the rest of the house everything was fine. We got the email on it, and it had like two pictures, and two areas we already knew nothing where he was supposed to be taking it in other areas. I said to my husband, make sure the guy gets that and that. We had someone that did insulation in the attic, so we want to make sure that the pictures verified that we didn't have leaks in any of those areas. My husband emailed and asked where was the rest of the pictures, they said sorry and deleted them. That was very disappointing, which is why they had got a "C" on price.

We were very impressed with the work done.From the beginning of the project everything was thoroughly covered and protected to the efficiency of the actual work,to the explanations given and photos shown. Crew was polite and more! We would certainly recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service.

Great. Crew showed up on time and went right to work. We could not have been happier. This is a large house and lacked any insulation. What amazed us was they were able to finish in one day even though a second truck was necessary to bring more insulation. Siding was all re-attached to our satisfaction and the crew did a great clean up. Cost was discounted through Focus on Energy ( another plus ).

This work went very well. The crew was in and out in one day and they cleaned up after themselves very good. A great bunch to do business with. The crew kept me informed as to what was being done.

We used Weatherization Services through the ME2 program in Milwaukee. They added insulation, and that was okay. However they also installed energy saving water heaters in our duplex using the subcontractor, Hybrid Heating. The water heater for the upper unit broke about a month ago. I called and asked them to fix it, but they didn't want to, and said it only had a one year warranty. This past year, I barely used my water, as I had a herniated discs and couldn't even climb the stairs to my apartment. I was staying with a friend. Finally I convinced them to send someone over by saying I'd report it on Angie's List. I was put in touch with Shawn from Hybrid Heating.  After a couple missed scheduled appointments, Shawn finally showed up. He determined that the outlet which was installed for the water heater to be plugged into was bad. He plugged it into the other unit's outlet, and said he was going to call the electrician he subcontracted the job out to. Then, nothing. <br /> I had to call both Fred at Weatherization Services and Shawn at Hybrid multiple times, and Shawn missed scheduled appointments. When he finally came, he said his electrician was going to charge him to install a new GFI outlet, and that those outlets are cheap and break easily, so he was just going to install a regular outlet, which he did. <br /> Last week, just a few weeks after the outlet repair, the water heater broke again. I called Fred, he called Shawn. I think I had to call twice. Shawn scheduled to come today, Monday, 5/4 at 9 a.m. I made it clear that he needed to come first thing, and that I wouldn't be home after 10a.m.  At 9:15, I called Shawn. He claimed he was on his way, tied up in traffic. At 9:45 I called Fred, but got no answer, and left a message. Then I called Shawn and told him don't bother to come. He said he could come later. I told him between 4-5pm. He neither showed up nor called. Fred also didn't return my call. <br /> Clearly there's something wrong with the outlet they installed. I think a licensed electrician should fix it, and I think that fix should last for more than a few weeks or even a few years.  <br /> Also, the water heater (AO Smith) is a total failure in other regards. Despite rarely using hot water, my heating bill went up. I definitely attribute it to the water heater. The water heater is loud. It goes on all the time. The settings don't go low enough to be at a usable temperature. It's either so hot, you have to add cold water, or so cool you can't shower unless it's a hot summer day and you're looking to cool off. So I have it set hotter than necessary.   <br /> So I'm stuck with a water heater that was installed to save energy and money, but it's doing the exact opposite. I'm stuck with a water heater that either scalds my hands when I turn on the hot water, or that leaves me shivering in the shower.  <br />

It was fine. The guy was super nice, he showed up on time, we got a detailed report on what items I should follow up on to get increased energy efficiency in the house, full door, door cast and things like that. It went really well. There were no additional charges. It was a very good deal. He was very easy to talk to, and he got me the report within a few days of doing the assessment. If I moved to another home I would use him.

On time, professional, honest. <br />

My husband was not happy with it. He said that he paid 99$ and he probably got about 30$ worth of information. He said all he did was he came out and didn't even go into the attic or anything. We had a concern that we specifically asked him about and he took a picture and the picture shows nothing. He didn't back to us until 3 weeks later. We contacted him and he finally emailed us what he thought the result was. He did not address the issue that we specifically wanted.

I won this service and they did such good work so I called them again for more work. They are trustworthy, I was able to leave the house without fearing of losing anything. It was nice.

The provider only came for an inspection. I received a basic report from it. The tech was professional, slightly late but warned us about that. I would have used him if I didn't move. I wanted to find the gaps in the insulation to make it more efficient. I would recommend him to other members.
