Installation of new Bryant AC and Furnace to replace very old units in our 100-yr-old house. Major compliments to our installers who made special adaptations to our vintage duct work and wiring. Very clean, thoughtful installation inside and out, followed by a clear explanation of the operation of the new system. Highest recommendation.

Our AC unit stopped working in the midst of a heat wave. I called in the morning for service and a technician came that afternoon. He correctly identified the problem as a faulty capacitor, replaced it, and the unit works well again. I was very impressed, and the price of the repair was reasonable.

Ryan and Justyn were professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job installing a new AC unit for us. They even cleaned up the area around the unit and made it look good.

I have used Hillestad on 3 occasions this past year ( 2 preventive maintenance visits and a whole house humidifier install). Each occasion was pleasant and professional, from the scheduler in the office to the technician (Tristan) that came to our house. I recommend Hillestad.

Our thermostat stopped working Christmas Eve, luckily we were visiting family on Christmas, but needed heat starting the following day. I used Hillestad recently and was super impressed. They had excellent communication skills, were super nice to work with and were very knowledgeable. When I called the office, the scheduling person was super nice, and got someone out right away. They first came out to check out our furnace which was leaking water. The tech was very knowledgeable and friendly. We ended up needing we new furnace, so we had the sales person out next. He was also great to work with, and did not pressure us to do any upgrading or to purchase any extra things.. And finally, Hillestad sent two guys out to install the new furnace that we had selected. The installation people were also good to work with. I definitely recommend Hillestad.

We had our 45 year old HVAC system replaced by Hillestad. I shopped and got estimates from 5 different contractors. Dan was the representative that helped me. Of all the estimates this one stood above not for only the cost but Dan took the time to hear exactly what I wanted and provided me with several options. Clearly explaining each. The day of the installation the 3 man crew (Ryan, Jeremy and William) showed up exactly on time, had everything needed, and very professionally installed my new system in less than one day. I cannot have asked for a better or cleaner installation. We had heat the same day. I highly recommend this company

I just had a Magic Pak installed in my condo and the technician's, Ryan and Jeremy did an excellent job. It was installed within 2 hours, and they were very friendly and informative. They went above and beyond, I highly recommend Hillestad Heating and Cooling. Also, the price was very reasonable.

We’ve used Hillestad twice and had amazing experiences both times. Dave did a great job moving our AC condenser unit but in general everyone at Hillestad has been patient and kind both in the work and answering all of our questions.

Our furnace completely died, and we needed an expedient replacement. Due to medical conditions, from my disability,, I am extremely sensitive to cold. Hillstead not only assessed our situation immediately, got quotes that same day, and worked to install a replacement within 48 hours (and for 1/2 the cost of other quotes). The staff were great to work with.

We worked with Dan to give us a quote for a split system to be installed in our cabin. We received a quote within a week and were able to schedule an install shortly afterwards. Crew that came to install was professional and quick. We also reached out to Dan after install to get a few questions answered, which he was quick to respond to. I wish all contractors were this professional and responsive. We will be returning to Hillestad for our future business.

Just wanted to send you a note to say how great Shawn and Ryan were at installing our new 2-stage Bryant furnace. They did a great job with the install as well as explaining the 2-stage function being controlled at the furnace level so that we wouldn’t have to figure out how to run it at the thermostat. Both were cordial and professional, and knew what they were doing every step of the way. Excellent work, which is of course what I have come to expect over the years from Hillestad. This company is awesome! We had a gas leak that required we replace a large section of pipeline and several connections. I called in the morning and spoke with Brenda, she did a great job coordinating to get someone out to me that day! Dennis, the technician that arrived, was very nice, did a great job and worked very quickly. Everything was ready to go by early afternoon! 😊 Once we got the gas back on (which took a bit as Aliant Energy was needed to turn it back on) the furnace rattled a bit more than normal. The next day I called Hillestad and explained the issue. They once again, went over and above to send someone out that morning to accommodate my work schedule. Ben, the technician that arrived was very thorough and explained everything very well. He made sure everything sounded as it should before he left, and even took a photo of the inside of the furnace to show me where the problem was. Turned out that we will need a new furnace 😖 We got a follow up call from Dan the next day. He said Ben let him know about the issues with our furnace and offered to set up a time to come a give us an estimate. We are limping the furnace along at the moment, but when we do get a new one, I know where we'll go 😊 Thanks for everything! You guys have a great team!

We had an opportunity to convert from LP to natural gas and decided to replace our 20+ year old furnace and AC along with our water heater. Hillestad came in with the best bid to do the complete job. They arrived promptly on the date and time agreed upon. The installation went smoothly. We went with the Ecobee thermostat as an upgrade and a tech explained how to operate this device. (Love it!) We had used Hillestad for a couple of repairs in the past and received equally as good service. We highly recommend them over the other local HVAC contractors.

We could not have been happier with Not only our new heating system but the quality of care we received from Hillestad heating. From buying our home last year till now they have made calls on a wim to help understand our homes system, emergency calls when our heat went out, honest solutions to avoid continued visits, a full system insight when getting ready to inform of options on probable new system, multiple calls to husband and I to make sure we both personally had any questions asked and finally to an amazing system clean install and follow up to confirm all was well. When owning a home your hope is a company will fix your home with attention to detail and long lasting quality and with out a doubt Hillestad did that and more ! We will stick with this trusted company for and more of our future heating and cooling needs .

We had several different issues going on at our rental unit and called several other contractors to come out and help us fix our water tank and heat issues. Every other contractor failed and left our home without a working heating system. When we reached out to Hillestad's they diagnosed the problem right away and sent a team back the next morning to get both our heat and water tank back up and working properly. I'll never call another HVAC service again. I highly recommend them.

I recently had Hillestad recommended to me from Association where I have a vacation rental. The furnace and air needed replacing. So I hired Hillestad. When it was done I was contacted by Nick Lange, who I initially dealt with. By chance I went up to rental property to set up for season. Upon checking the furnace , I was horrified. The duct work had huge gaps and openings through out.I had been literally air conditioning the crawl space the entire week after they were done. And new thermostat I paid for was never installed. I immediately wrote Nick and he followed up with a call. He said his men were very good and had been with Hillestad for awhile. He said he would personally check it out and make necessary repairs, which he did. I've yet to have a chance to see repairs and need to arrange to have Association review it. Hillestads' quality of work was sub par in my case.and it is questionable that my particular case is an anomaly.

I contacted Hillestad because we were having issues with our air conditioner as the hottest days were upon us. They were quick to come to our home and service our unit. Complete check over and repair at an affordable price.

I just want to say thanks to the guys at Hillestad for going above and beyond to help me. I have a 8 year old Veridian home that the AC unit died on - and which wasn't covered by warranty anymore. I called around to do my "due dilligence" and everyone was at about the same price for replacement. The person I talked to on the phone was so helpful, as he was able to work out a scenario where we came out about $400 less then everyone else. He then went out of his way to shuffle their busy schedule to get my repair done 2 days later even though they had a 3 week back-log (busy time of year). What a God send. The 2 people that came and did the install were very professional - they even worked outside during a complete downpour of a thunderstorm to get the job done. Talking about dedication! I have had 2 other HVAC companies come to my house prior to this for service work - and they didn't left me with the feeling that they were trying to take advantage of my situation. Hillestad demonstrated that they really go out of their way to do the right thing.
