Peninsula Heat

Had my annual service today, Jessie did a great job, was very professional and efficient. I have two heat pumps one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs. Nancy always does such a great job making my appointment as quickly as possible when I call. Have been so happy with the service ever since my first HVAC was installed in 1996 and upgraded a few years ago. A great company to deal with.

The electrical panel in the Bosch heat pump installed by Peninsula Heat in early 2024 somehow got fried after a major downpour in late September 2024, barely a month after Dave did its Fall maintenance. Dave came out on a Saturday to diagnose the problem. Although one of two necessary parts was on backorder for almost two weeks (certainly not the fault of Peninsula Heat!), once it arrived Dave was promptly back at my house to make the repair. Dave is very friendly and extremely efficient. He gets the job done and double checks to make sure it's all done properly. And Nancy in the office is also at the top of her game. She handled the scheduling and kept me informed of when the parts were in. The repair was covered by warranty. Peninsula Heat has consistently provided excellent customer service and I highly recommend them.

The service was excellent. The initial consultation was extremely informative and helpful. They took the time to make sure we were getting the right unit for our needs. The installers were very professional, knowledgeable, prompt and efficient. They also sent their expert to make sure all was going well 2 weeks after the installation. We even received a hand-written thank you note for our business! I recommend them highly!

The technician Paul did an excellent job of cleaning and inspecting my heat pump system. He explained all the items he checked and explained the different setting of my thermostat. He was a total professional. I would not hesitate to call them for any concerns I might have.

Incredible. Everyone else quoted times in months. From first phone call to fiddling with the controls (easy) in less than a week. Installation took a couple of hours. They took care of building permits and subcontractors. It's a quality product installed quickly and professionally.

Excellent service, first by the sales person who evaluated our need, then by installers. They took care of all the permitting and rebate. It took half the estimated time to complete the job, and they cleaned up their minimal mess. I only wish the installer had the expertise and responsibility to help set it up for use with my phone app. I have not figured that part out yet. I gave a B for quality only because we have not used the unit enough yet to really know. We don't need cooling that often here, but it was great on the couple of days that we did. Looking forward to seeing how it lives up to its heat performance this winter.

I first called renee who was a doll on the phone and she sent out a repairman named paul who was wonderful...he had a great personality and extremely friendly. when he was under the house he found a water leak which in turn I called a plumber to fix....if would not of let me know about it I could have mold going out of control...he even got my cat out from under my house.....I will always have peninsula heat take care of my heating....I give them a 10 out of 10....and I highly recommend them... <br />

As usual, everything went well. Service person was very patient and answered all my questions. I needed help setting my Lennox thermostat and help spent the time needed to make sure I understood the process.

The Peninsula Heat crew arrived on schedule and completed the work efficiently. They were very cooperative with my specific requests during the installation. The work was very professional and completed to a high standard. They were very friendly and patient with my questions and requests.

I called peninsula heat at 9 AM described the problem and ran a few tests that I was directed over the phone. After semi-diagnosing the problem peninsula heat headed in my direction was here in 15 minutes. Bad starter switch replaced and on his way within an hour. Works perfectly no problems

Peninsula Heat staff worked with me to come up with a really excellent solution for my particular needs. It makes wise use of otherwise dead space, and maximizes options with respect to future renovation plans. During installation, the crew went the extra mile to protect floors in work and access areas and generally clean up after themselves. Zack even cut down and repaired a series large drawers so they could continue to be used. The office staff have been responsive and helpful as well. Renee even somehow managed to track down (and then kindly return) replacement heating elements for my 1971 Slant-Fin boiler, before we discovered that the original elements had become fused to the box and couldn't be removed. In all, I would say that everyone I encountered during this process has been very professional. In particular, I really appreciate all the ways that Ken, Ian, Zack, Scott, and Renee contributed to the overall excellent experience. I would definitely recommend Peninsula Heat to others.

Perfectly, they had previously installed a heat pump for our server room. Did such a good job, with excellent pricing, I hired them to do our home as well.

On the scheduled day for service, Steve arrived a half our early. He indicated that due to a technician calling in sick, he was filling in for Paul and requesting to start early to catch up. Steve understood my initial observations, and proceeded to find a blown temperature safety sensor. He proceeded with a thorough clean out of the heater box, repairing damaged insulation. Due to the fact that this was the coldest winter week in recent past, and our need for the heat for my 91 year old mother-in-law, he placed a temporary sensor to get the secondary heat working until the recommended sensor could be ordered. He then replaced the condenser fan motor with a new universal one he had on the truck. When the invoice arrived the next week, I found the cost very reasonable with the cost of the fan motor only sightly higher than I could have bough on line (I had considered replacing it myself) which was reasonable since it was a multi-hp universal that he carried for immediate replacement. Even though he was filling in with short staff, he did not rush his work and answered all my questions and was patient with me looking over his shoulder as a retired "Engineer". Total cost for work was less than I had anticipated. I highly recommend Peninsula Heat and Steve. Thanks

Fanatastic! The service provider taught me so much about the system and it's workings. I can't remember his name, but he was just great! I'd love to have him come every time. He was more through than anyone I've ever met. He's a keeper!!!
