This company did a great job of installing heat pumps in a very high-quality manner, and the Mitsubhishi units have been transformational. The team was very good and efficient, and the devices work perfectly. Only tiny suggestion would be to ask them about installation options in terms of the house exterior, because it seemed they're so used to doing this they didn't think to explain the upsides and downside of the alternatives beforehand, so we could mull it over. But that said, the work was great, the machines are excellent, and the balanced heat (and cooling) in the house is prefect.

They installed a hyper heat air handler system and were efficient with excellent communication throughout. They came back the next day to help troubleshoot an issue, which turned out to be a settings adjustment. Highly recommend.

Professional. Efficient. Quality. Energy Tech installed a 3-zone Mitsubishi mini-split system in my home office and they did an amazing job! They were recommended to me by my neighbor who runs an HVAC school...everyone I worked with (Al, Martin, Nick and 'Hap') were total pro's throughout the entire process. They were not only the most affordable option of the 4 bids I got, but they spec'd the most robust system and offered one thing NONE of the other companies offered...a simple surge/line voltage protector...effectively if there is a fatal power surge this little inexpensive unit blows instead of my mini-split and thus saving my multi-thousand dollar investment. The best part of the whole process is that everyone was super nice and easy to work with...if you're looking for an A/C solution these are your people!

Great experiences with Energy Technologies. They replaced my inefficient electric water heater with a super efficient hybrid heat pump water heater. I think every house in Seattle with a basement should have one of these. Energy Technologies sold me on it, and 18 months later I'm still very happy with it. Costs were more upfront but the energy savings will make it far less expensive already in the medium term. As a bonus, the heat pump dehumidifies the air and brought the humidity levels significantly down in the damp basement. The model they installed isn't very loud and doesn't drop the temperature significantly (two concerns that people have). The manufacturer has a smartphone app that shows daily energy use (only 1-3 kWh for a family of 4!) and offers remote control of the water heater (water temp, mode, etc.). I'm able to run on the heat pump setting exclusively. When the unit had a defect, Energy Technologies diagnosed the problem and replaced it in a timely fashion and all under warranty. Super knowledgeable and professional employees.

My experience with Energy Technologies was outstanding. I was very impressed with the professional manner the proposal was presented. Their prices compared very favorably with what I had been looking at. The crew was here for two days. They removed the old furnace and installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Everything was cleaned up and all old material taken away. Martin returned the next day and gave us tutorial on how to use the thermostat and change furnace filters. I have been doing business with Energy Technologies since 2013 when they helped me with an energy assessment and installed a ductless heat pump. This was a big move from my oil furnace. I've worked with Al and his company since then. He is one of the most trustworthy and gentle people I have done business with. He is fair and transparent. He recently installed a ductless heat pump for a friend which was also excellent. Today, my unit was diagnosed and maintained by Nick. He was very professional and comprehensive in his visit. We are very grateful we found Energy Technologies. They removed our old oil burning furnace and installed a top line heat pump and air handler for heating and cooling. They did a thorough assessment of our needs and explained all the possible options and costs. They worked long hours to get the equipment installed and the electrical work completed and connected so we now have cool air as we enter our 2nd unprecedented heat wave of the summer. This group is AMAZING!!! We were beyond impressed by the professionalism, attentiveness, & ability of the Energy Technologies crew. We have an AC system which was installed by a DIFFERENT company about 2 years ago, which was not functioning properly. A total of 4 technicians from the OTHER company, over a 1 month period, had attempted to investigate the problem & were not able to identify the issue or figure out a solution. THANKFULLY, we found ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES & asked this group to take a look at our system & to help us out!!! The crew was able to schedule us for a next day visit. Martin went above & beyond to evaluate our system & was quickly able to identify the problem & come up with an effective solution. He even discussed other options to help enhance the efficiency of our cooling system in the future if needed. Martin & team took the time to really listen to our story & input. He was friendly & professional & extremely knowledgeable. He was not phased by our unusual case, and in fact mentioned that he had recently attended an educational conference which had helped him to address our problem! We are so happy with our experience! We definitely intend to rely upon this group for HVAC maintenance & any future issues. We highly recommend this group!

We had Energy Technologies replace our old furnace and install a new AC unit. We’re very happy with the quality of their service and responsiveness. When an unexpected problem was discovered, they demonstrated a high degree of professionalism to troubleshoot and find a way to solve it with persistence to our satisfaction. Our hats off to Martin and his crew!!!

Routine heat pump maintenance. The technician was very professional and thorough. They had a tech in training with them who accidentally broke the heat pump. Tech admitted that it was their mistake and told us they'd be back to replace the part as soon as they had it in stock. It was winter. Temps were in the low 30s. We went three days with no heat. They did return and replaced the part as promised. The issue was that, later, we received an invoice for $300 for the replacement of the broken part. When I called for clarification, I was told that the invoice was actually for the maintenance they had done on the unit. Fair enough, but I suggested that it would be good business to offer a discount (or waive the fee entirely) since the crew broke our heater in the middle of winter which meant three days with no heat. If you took your car to the mechanic for an oil change, and while they worked on it they broke the head gasket, you would expect them to waive the cost of the oil change, right? Al was outraged that I would suggest such a thing. Told me I was "looking for a free ride." In short, the technicians are very professional but the folks handling the business side could take a few classes on business practices and customer service.

Pleased with Energy Technologies with air conditioning added to an existing furnace, very responsive to telephone calls as always answering. Job was done early before their estimated arrival, Al mentioned he would schedule us early if he could get the equipment and had an opening. A 120vac plug in was added next to the evaporator as part of the job requiring the electrician to run a wire across the attic as part of the bid and it was a warm day. Job was completed in the estimated timeframe even with changes of replacing the thermostat. Good hardware was used and was skillfully installed requiring the installer to run lines across the garage ceiling from the furnace room under the stairs across the garage ceiling without cutting the lines and making a joint connection.

Great follow through. Martin came to the house, ( as scheduled and on time) walked through, LISTENED to what I was thinking I wanted and made fantastic suggestions. Its been a few years since the initial instalation now and I am still thrilled with the finished combination. Worth every penny . In fact, I did try to get three bids before choosing Energy Technologies: one company could not bother to show up let lone call to reschedule and the other gave me a bid over the phone, much higher, based on my location and square footage of the home. Happy I went with Energy Technologies.

Energy Technologies was subcontracted by our HVAC installer to put in a dedicated circuit for our ductless system. Erick Gonzalez did an excellent job. He was friendly, communicative, and the finished product is clean.

Energy Technologies expertly and efficiently installed our Daikin heat pump. They provided a total solution of electrical, carpentry, and refrigeration expertise that's required for this type of installation. Energy Technologies also provided technical info on using and maintaining the heat pump. They are very reliable and always met our agreed upon schedules. I highly recommend this company.

Just had my Heat Pump fixed by Energy Technologies after being turned away from 8 other companies. The technician came out within 2 days, quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and then went out of his way to check my furnace and tankless hot water heater. Then on top of that I mentioned a sound that kept coming from the return air duct for the furnace that 2 other companies couldn't figure out. He listened for a minute, smiled at me and then pulled off the grill from the air return and the sound went away! He recommended getting a grill that won't cause the airflow to make the sound. Bonus round score! The technician was very knowledgeable, shared his thoughts, and went out of his way to make sure all my systems were in shape. Rock star!
