On a January day our furnace failed. We called these folk because we saw their vehicles in the neighbor hood and hoped that they were good. I was wrong. The service person was prompt but recommended a complete replacement of furnace and A/C. We had their sales guy come and he gave us price that I thought significantly over what we would have paid in a non emergency situation. We were also advised that out A/C equipment should be replaced at the same time to save money. Okay given that situation and temperature inside the house we agreed. The following day ( a Friday) the install crew came out, installed the new equipment and 6 hours later they were gone. Okay, happy to have the equipment in and working, the house was starting to warm up. The following Sunday I noted that the humidity level was not where it should be so I went down to check and adjust. Upon opening the access panel I saw the bypass duct ( the one that goes through the humidifier) was displaced, Frustrated though I was, i thought I could easily put it in place and life would be good. Not to be. After a 1/2 hour of try to get the duct back into place I finally realized that it was not going to work because the duct was long enough. The real problem wasn't the length of the duct, but the location of the humidifier was about 1 1/2" too far tot he left. the solution was to go over to HD , get a collar and install it. I am an experienced tradesman so this was not an issue. but it did take over an hour to get all put back together. I sent the sales person an email with a copy of the receipt and asked to be reimbursed for the material and my ti me. Additionally I asked for the compensation to be delivered within one week. As of today, the check did not come, and absolutely NO communication from Apollo. I should also mention that I spent some time cleaning up after the install crew. I picked 15 #6 and #8 SM screws scattered around the room and the one that hurt the most was the one I knelt on. Would I hire these folks again? Nope

I had mixed experience with them. I think they are pretty pricey. A week or two ago, we had some problem with the system and I called a different provider who were prompt and solved the problem quickly and I can’t tell for sure if they were pricey or not.

Apollo have been doing the maintenance twice a year and I think they are pretty pricey. During the spring check up, they failed to find the problem that popped up a couple of weeks ago. I think they have great service but they were not able to prevent the problem we just had.

The repairmen called when he was going to be later than the appointed time and was here within 10 minutes of the appointment. He checked out the new thermostat that my son had installed two days before and then proceeded to check out my air conditioning system. He found a bad switch which was causing my system to only work part of the day (evening and morning) and had to go purchase one as he did not have one in his truck. When he returned and replaced the switch, he also checked out two other compressor switches which he found were not working as well as they should. Each time he found something he checked with me and let me make the decision as to whether to replace the switch or not and explained exactly how the old switch was working. After each replacement he would test the air coming through my vents to see if the temperature had gotten down to the proper level coming from the vents. The last thing he did was add about a pound and a half of freon. He was here for a couple of hours but when he left the reading on my thermostat was exactly what the temperature was set for.
I had to add at this point that I have lived in my house 6 1/2 years and during that time had another, very popular local company, perform maintenance checks. Obviously they were missing something as my house would have to get hot before the air would come on and then when it did, it would proceed to freeze you out before shutting off. I am absolutely amazed that my front room and kitchen temperatures now match my register temperature and that the temperature is maintained at that setting. I am a very very happy customer of this company!
They were prompt and they were here at the scheduled time; if they were not here at the scheduled time, they would call and say they were running late or early in case I wanted them to come ahead than the scheduled time.
