West Mechanical replaced our 14 year old radiant floor boiler that had a failed heat exchanger that was emitting carbon monoxide 😳. The new high efficiency boiler is mounted on the wall. The plumbers were knowledgeable, careful, and courteous and completed the work in 1.5 days. We are enjoying the warmth after two weeks without heat.

Recently, I encountered an issue with a gas furnace in a unit I rent out to Mystic Arts in a building I own in LaConner, Washington. I was particularly impressed with Clint from West Mechanical. He demonstrated great empathy towards the situation, as the tenant was without heat. Consequently, he promptly provided me with an estimate. Given the holiday season, I was fortunate that they were able to install the unit so swiftly. Additionally, I appreciate Clint’s follow-up inspection after the installation. My tenant is highly impressed with Clint from West Mechanical as well as myself.

Aaron from West Mechanical came to our home to perform our annual system checkup and provided excellent service from start to finish. During the inspection, he discovered that the thermostat was not operating properly on the heat pump, even though the air conditioning side was still working. Aaron worked closely with his team to identify solutions and ultimately got the system operating correctly again. He was a true team player, extremely friendly, and very communicative throughout the entire process. He took the time to explain what was going on and made sure everything was handled properly before leaving. Aaron Evan’s came out today last minute in between jobs because we lost heat during the winter today. Our original appt was supposed to be Monday but Ethan the scheduler made everything come together. Aaron showed up the true professional, explained how a furnace works and did some extensive troubleshooting. My heat pump had some fault code that was causing all the problems and at the end of the day he figured it all out and we have heat!. That’s not the end of the story. At one point my toilet began overflowing while he was working in the garage and it poured everywhere. He was ready to start cleaning that to help me out and he began moving important items in my garage around so they wouldn’t get wet before I could respond. He went with me in the backyard and we found it was my septic causing blockage and even though he had completed his work… he stayed with me while we figured out together was was causing this. He got ahold of the plumbing dept of West Mechanical and put everything together. By the time we were wrapping up, with calm and patience he made sure all our needs were met before leaving. Ive never had a better reason to leave a review for someone than Aaron in HVAC. Just want to make sure this guy gets all the props and praise he deserves because he kept me grounded when I was ready to freak out. Thank you West Mechanical for being a solid company all these years and hiring someone like Aaron to represent your business. Thank you.

From the time I called West mechanical, to the time Mark prink, the plumber left my house I could not have been more satisfied. Scheduling and setting up the appointment with super simple. I was asked to text some pictures, they were able to give me my price, which was surprisingly lower than I thought it was going to be. If there was an ability to give more than five stars I absolutely would. Mark was both professional and personable. Also, I couldn't help but notice how quiet he was. At one point I was wondering if he was sleeping under my sink because I wasn't hearing any commotion.. Lol next thing I knew everything was done. I recommend these guys to anyone. Also, I almost forgot, they got a plumber in my house in less than 24 hours. That's huge!

Nicholas did a great job hooking up a couple porch lights for me today. Showed up at the beginning of the arrival window and immediately got to work. Very professional and easy going. The electricians from West Mechanical (formerly Bode's) have always been courteous and professional and done a good job. This sort of thing is never cheap but, in my experience, West Mechanical charges very reasonable prices and sometimes, in the past, the service call is all I've been charged for what turned out to be a quick fix.

All of our dealings with West Mechanical have been great. When we purchased our home years ago we wanted to add A/C to the existing furnace - they were able to setup an estimate in the off-season months before other companies would even come out to give us an estimate. We love our A/C and have found their optional maintenance service to be well worth the cost. They service our on-demand water heater for us as well, and have kept our furnace and A/C running great. When our existing natural-gas furnace had well outlived its lifespan and we were ready to have it replaced recently, we again chose West Mechanical. Every one of their staff, whether in the office or out on site, has seemed knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Furthermore, their transparency regarding known vendor cost increases, has saved us a lot of money by simply purchasing a few months earlier than we had planned. Thank you West Mechanical!

West Mechanical provided and installed a new forced air furnace to replace our old furnace that suddenly failed. I live on Orcas Island. I called West Mechanical, on Monday just before noon, because of an electrical issue with the heating system in my home that developed over the weekend, leaving us without heat. West Mechanical's Electrical Technician, Nicholas and his apprentice, arrived the same day at 3 pm. They diagnosed and repaired the problem within an hour. Fast, effective, professional and friendly service call by Kyle. The pilot light on my gas water heater blew out in the high winds overnight. I couldn't get it lit myself, so I called and within four hours they had sent Kyle to light it and show me how to do it. He also did a quick check to make sure everything else was working right. And no charge!I'm so happy a neighbor suggested I use West Mechanical.

Absolutely loved the tech that came to my house, shout out to Juan for being so professional. I am very happy to have called them and for them to have availability on short notice was lucky. It’s was the cheaper quote out of the people we called that had any availability for furnace diagnostics the same day and their transparency about pricing was optimal. Super all around experience with a furnace that completely quit in winter. Clint organized and assessed everything needed. Technicians worked focused and carefully to remove and install a new heating and cooling system.

Requested service to examine our electrical panel for advice on upgrading the in-wall heaters in our condo. Phone customer service was great, pleasant, very helpful when making appointment, clear communication on expected service costs, etc. Actual technicians (2) were young men, not much in the way of friendly service but clearly knowledgeable and provided us when the info we needed quickly. Since we live in a condo with lots of reserved parking we left our spot vacant and gave instructions on where to park but they still parked in a neighbor's space which luckily didn't cause any issue since their visit was quick. Overall good service for the simple info we were looking for.

The repair man was efficient and a pleasure to talk to. He was nice enough to explain how my heating unit worked. I would definitely call them again if need be.

We had a great tech Aaron come out very quickly to troubleshoot our garage door opener. The problem was identified and fixed within the hour. Great service by a very kind and professional technician.

I am planning to change my water heating system to tankless. Juan Araujo, who came highly recommended, was here. He is very knowledgeable, with an eye for detail, and pleasant. He earned the five stars from me.

I turned on my heat for the first time this year and no luck. Took the thermostat apart and there was corrosion but I didn’t have time to fix it myself and I have a tenet that deserves to be warm so I called. Positive things I can say: They were very responsive and worked me into the schedule very quickly. They even called to push me up sooner because of a cancellation. They were able to do the work while I was at work myself and gave me updates. They did solve the problem and my heat is back on Negative things I can say: The operator may have just been new but I didn’t get a lot of confidence from him that he knew what was going on. I provided my card for file when I scheduled the appointment but the technician told me they did not have one. I insisted I provided it and he called home base and lo and behold they had my card number. The cost just hurts. 200$ to come out and about 400$ for a new thermostat. Obviously I don’t set the prices for thermostat but I purchased this furnace new in December 2023 and spending almost 8k on a furnace feels like it should get me a courtesy assessment. That’s just my opinion. The last one is small but it really pissed me off. The technician didn’t clean up the mess from installing the new thermostat. It of course only took me 30 seconds to sweep it up but it’s my opinion that when you make a mess in someone’s home and you are being paid, you should clean up after yourself. So 3 stars. Job got done fast. Cost more than I would have liked. Didn’t love the experience.

We have had wonderful service from West Mechanical. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Good recommendations for servicing and how to save on maintenance, too. They've helped with many different systems in our house.
