Death on wheels. Dec. 16 2022 about 1:30 pm. Right around Fort Eustis, I and several other cars in the left lane. In this area, commercial vehicles are prohibited in the left lane. I and others in the lane are already doing 70 in a 60 mile an hour zone. Atlantic truck in the left lane came flying up on my rear end, making me cringe because I thought I was getting ready to be hit. The last minute this truck swerved around me into the right lane sped up and then quickly jerked back over into the left lane, causing the truck it cut off to lock up its brakes. This, in turn, caused all of us to hit our brakes. I immediately went in pursuit of this dangerous driver. In the following picture I took, the van immediately swerved back over into the right lane, causing me to have to hit my brakes to avoid a collision. The van then continued at a high rate of speed, swerving in another traffic. There is a lot more to this story, but I called the 1 800 Number on the Van reported it and also, once I got to my destination, I did an online report to the Virginia state police. Also we'll be sending a report to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Clay came by today to perform my annual review today. I sign a maintenance contract about 3 years ago. Clay is very professional and knowledgeable. He thoroughly checked out my system. Because of signing the maintenance agreement my system has never been better. I appreciate Atlantic and signing the yearly contract with them was one of the best things I’ve ever done. They come out twice yearly. 1 before the summer heat kicks in and then to check the system before the weather changes to the cold. I trust them completely 🙏🏼

My husband & I can’t say enough good things about this company! Our A/C went out and our landlord called them for a service call. They were literally at our house within 30 minutes and had our A/C up and running for us in no time. Professional, courteous, and prompt! We are very impressed with this company and their staff.

I have an appointment for them to come start a job for me tomorrow, 4/25/2024. I've been calling and texting them today to reconfirm the scope of the job and that they will show up. The rep hasn't returned my calls or texts, and their main office told me they'd have him get in contact with me.

Terrific job and super polite associates! Very helpful and explained everything they were doing during our AC install. Came back a week later and ensured everything was great!

Tech shows up and calls to tell me he thinks there's a wiring issue and won't even trouble shoot it. This company will just waste your time. Don't bother with them Go to the next name, you'll be better off

I have used Atlantic several times including Atlantic potties. They are always on time and provide great services across the board. The potties are well maintained and the weekly service is much better than most other companies. Well established business that knows what they are doing.

If your looking for a service oriented company, this one falls short. I asked for an HVAC estimate for a small nail salon. Took me two weeks and a few pleading phone calls to get an estimate. Once we were ready to have the work done, they lost the estimate and refused the job stating the only HVAC mechanic they had had retired (which I can understand). Not sure what's going on Atlantic but you might have better luck elsewhere, at least for a while.

I recently went through a nightmare situation with my home warranty (HMS) company and there local HVAC company. I have not had working AC for 2 months and the local HVAC company had decided the only answer was to replace the whole system and the warranty company would only cover a portion of the expense. I reached out to Atlantic Heating and Cooling for a second opinion (out of my pocket because HMS would not do a second opinion). Not only did they not take advantage of the situation. They resolved my issue with a simple service call. Noted that I have a unique system that requires a special tech and would follow up with a contact that could assist me in the future if I had issues. The other company had 4 different techs come out with no resolution insight. Thank you for your integrity and highly skilled staff.

Chris Miller is a great plumber and took care of my backflow prevention testings. Have used and known about this company for years and you can’t beat the knowledgeable staff that is on hand with this firm .

Haven't used them. leaving this review because one of there pick up trucks was holding up 64 real bad because they were left lane camping next to an 18 wheeler.

On time and on task. Receptive to customer input. Brought and installed the parts I needed. Right the first time. First class!

A/C was only down a few hours (while I was at work). All work done in 2.5 days ... would have been just 2 days if City Inspector could have been more accommodating.

<p>I called early Friday morning with a problem with my central AC unit.  Unfortunately, a technician could not be dispatched until Monday afternoon without paying an additional after hours fee.  Once the technician came over, the problems was identified (low Freon), but could not be determined as to where the leak was.  I had the same issue (with the same technician preforming the service call 2 years ago and a leak test was preformed, but no leaks were found.  I decided to save some money and just add more Freon instead of having him once again test the system and potentially not find the leak (would have cost double the amount in labor, triple to cost of Freon to replace what would have been drained, and the cost of the nitrogen test).  I will hopefully be able to last another season with the additional Freon and replace the AC unit next year.  </p>

I did hire them because my train system was not working and I thought it needed to be repaired. Funny as it may sound, all they had to do was flick the switch to get the system out of defrost mode. I felt kind of stupid and was upset that I had to pay them $40 just to flick a switch. That was my fault though, not theirs. I should have known. I was however pleased with the man. He was a very nice man and thought that it was also kind of funny. I would use them again, but, I would try to figure it out my self first.

This was a real good company to do business with. They came on time and the men were very courteous. They explained everything they were doing. The product was very good and we have had no problems with any of the work. They left no mess for us to clean up. They hauled all the old stuff away as part of their service. I don't want not say how much Atlantic Heating charged for this service.

The worker was very nice and helpful. First he did an emergency repair with Freon because it was the middle of summer. After that, because he had to order a new part, he came back the next day to fix it. We've had no problems with it since.
