Outstanding service from Alliance Mechanical Services LLC! Our power went out during an ice storm and came back on the next day, but the HVAC did not. We called Alliance mid-afternoon and was told Linnie would be calling us back to schedule a visit. Less than an hour later Linnie called and said he was on his way. Turned out that even though there is a breaker for it in the main panel, there was also a breaker enclosed in the system beneath the house. Linnie turned it back on and we had heat. While with us, he shared a wealth of helpful information, his knowledge was matched by his enthusiasm. A couple hours later we realized we were cold and found the system had cut off again, so I texted Linnie, who returned the next morning and replace the breaker, no additional fee. All this during treacherous solid ice conditions and brutally chilly temperatures that required squirming through a crawlspace not large enough to roll over in. I hope I never have to call Linnie, who also happens to be the owner of Alliance Mechanical, again, but if I do I know I will be in capable and caring hands.

Linnie himself came on a sweltering Saturday. When he couldn't get the necessary parts to fix our unit, he actually lent us a motor from his own shop a/c to carry us through the weekend. That is service above five stars!!!

These guys are great. They worked late into the night to complete a new gas boiler install at our childhood family home on Thanksgiving eve; the house was full because it was also two days before my mother's funeral. They also took care of everything with permits and Virginia gas because we were switching from oil... they handled everything smooth as silk. The AC went out after we put the house on the market this summer and Alliance took care of us again. They know what they're doing and they are professional: highly recommend.

Linnie saved me the first time when my heat pump went out and it was ice/snow on the ground. I later had his company install a new unit in another house where he was able to save me 2k when comparing prices to three other companies. Linnie can also give you the run down on all the technical inner workings of how a system works, how it should work and even why it isn't working if you need to know that also. I have a habit of being overly verbose, so I’ll try to keep this brief. Alliance Mechanical rescued me from an otherwise miserable experience with my home warranty company. Typically, contractors that work with warranty companies tend to be the bottom of the barrel. This was proven as the first contractor that I was assigned insisted I needed to fully replace my ac system. Further, they were going to charge over $1600 worth of work not covered under the warranty. I smelled a scam and so I went back to the warranty company and demanded a second opinion. We had a number of dead ends with other contractors that didn’t exist or didn’t work in our area before getting the contact information for Alliance. Upon calling, we learned that they no longer were working with our warranty company due to all of the troubles, delays, and dishonesty that comes with it. However, they agreed to come and check out our problem anyway. They confirmed my suspicions about the previous contractor, I didn’t need to replace the entire system but just needed a couple of parts. All in all they saved me thousands and I couldn’t be happier with the results. System is back up and running, better than ever, and Alliance has earned a customer for life.

My AC started failing and ultimately was not producing any cool air and very little cool air at all. It became the weekend and a very hot one (6/6/2020) and it was very difficult to get anyone to come out at all, exacerbated further by COVID, etc. I finally found Alliance on Home Advisor and called. I got Linnie, CEO/President himself on the line on a Saturday. He had one guy in the field in Richmond and I'm in Williamsburg. He left his boat to come out and fix my AC which was blocked/frozen from low pressure and coolant. He diagnosed and fixed it almost immediately and was kind enough to offer explanations and just overall REALLY REALLY impressed. Fair prices, too. I would recommend Linnie and his staff to anyone and absolutely will when they ask. I am a TOUGH critic and they get nothing but the highest praises from me. Discounts to military and first responders, too. Thank you, Linnie and Alliance.

I was desperate when I contacted Alliance Mechanical Services. My AC had suddenly stopped working in the middle of July in South Eastern Virginia and my 18 year old dog was suffering from the heat and humidity. I feared that he couldn't survive. I called a few HVAC companies, who informed me that they wouldn't be able to help me for a week since they were swamped with other customers without AC. Then, I remembered that Alliance had previously helped me with my furnace. Alliance came out the same day. They thoroughly explained the issue, determined that my old AC system was indeed dead, and gave me a formal proposal that was fair. While I thought about it, they offered to install a window AC unit to alleviate my little dog's suffering. They were professional and very neat. They were able to install the system in one day and a few days later even followed up to ensure that it was working properly. I would definitely use them again!

Our AC went out last night and we called Alliance Mechanical Services and Linnie came out within an hour to troubleshoot the problem. He had our AC up and running within an hour and freely gave advice to prevent the problem from happening again. His service is a great example of good American values. Thank you Linnie!

They are completely, rude and unprofessional either you want our money or you don't? Tried to make several appointments with them in a weeks time but hey failed to give us times and expected us to answer or wait around on them until they called as they proceeded to get angry with us because we missed their calls. Had they given us a time we would have easily met them like we did for the initial diagnostics. One time I could even hear the manager yelling at his employee while we were on the phone with her. They also charge you for diagnostic fees even after you agree to get the work done, so be prepared to pay that too ($170)!

Fantastic skills and positive attitude. I really enjoyed working with Linnie over the phone and Jeremy's house call. True professionals. I look forward to using them for my semiannual HVAC maintence calls.

AC shut down. I called, and a live person answered on a weekend! Took a while before a tech arrived, however once here he kept at the issue until he figured it out. In the 90's today and I am one cool happy retired guy!

Work was done quickly and they even fixed a problem the builder created when they originally installed our hot water heater. Excellent and would recommend!

My AC stopped working early on a Friday morning - I called Alliance at 5:00 am on a Friday morning- the owner called me back immediately and dispatched a technician to my house in under 30 minuets - the technician was professional- knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the problem (a bad transformer) - the technician had the needed part on his vehicle- repaired my AC in 1 hour and the charge was more than fair- I highly recommend this company- Mark Leeson- Hayes Va
