Chris's Cooling

I contacted Chris’s Cooling in April 2025 for a routine maintenance check on my A/C unit. During the visit, the Chris the owner said it was low on Freon due to a leak and charged me $479. He said a leak repair would be needed, but no follow-up was scheduled. My concern was getting the leak repaired, but after weeks with no response. After a full month I reached out to another company for a second opinion. Their technician found no leak, confirmed no Freon had been added or was needed, and said the system was working just fine. Over a month and a half later, Chris’s Cooling finally called to schedule the repair, but by then I had already resolved the matter and questioned the original diagnosis. When I contacted them about a refund, they refused. I wouldn’t trust this company based on my experience. If something doesn’t seem right, get a second opinion.

I have used Chris's Cooling many times. They are reliable, affordable, and back up their work. A few months ago they installed an HVAC in my rent home. Today, my renter texted that the heater wasn't coming on so i contacted Chris's Cooling. I received the text from the renter at 11:53AM and by 12:36 PM I received another text that the heater was fixed! 43 minutes and on a Saturday is just amazing!

Chris, himself was to far away to take my call and get to me in a timely manner, so he called his son, also a licensed HAVAC repair, who came out, went through the whole system, told me what the price would be on his father's normal rate, then went farther by calling into several offices and tracking down the manufacturer warranty, that I had lost, great job and very helpful. And saved me thousands.

The they are amazing! Local and they are a father/son team. I put in a request through our home warranty on Saturday night and they called Monday morning. That is the best service I’ve ever had going through our home warranty. They replaced the capacitor and left to get a motor for the fan. They did not push it off for another day or make excuses. These guys are awesome. They are professional and friendly and will go that extra step to make sure your problem is resolved. I would highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Chris’s Cooling! My home warranty sent him out and he did a great job. He was very informative, kind, affordable and quick with followup and getting the parts to get the job done. I will definitely request him for all our heating and cooling needs.

My family has used Chris for over 10 years and he is simply the best. From new installation, duct work, repair and maintenance in our home and rental properties. Highly recommended!!!

We recently had AC issues and our home warranty dispatched this company. We were happy with their service. They seemed knowledgeable, communicated well with me, and made all repairs needed as timely as possible. There was a minor issue after the repairs, but they came back out and fixed the problem.

Just purchased a home and after moving into the new home, the AC stopped working. Home warranty company sent Chris’s Cooling to repair the AC. Before even looking at the system, the technician made the assumption that the situation could be pre-existing and said the warranty company may not approve the repair. Sure enough, he reported the so-called findings to the warranty company and the claim was denied. After speaking to the warranty company, I was informed the technician did not provide correct and accurate information to them and they were sending a different company to repair the AC. The home warranty will only pay so much for the repair, and it is apparent that Chris’s cooling wanted more money. I do not recommend this company.

Chris's cooling is one of the few view HVAC service service places that seem to understand our fancy communicating system. We have had a few difficulties over the Years and Chris's cooling was the only establishment that had any clue of how to repair the system other than the company that installed it.

So polite and great customer service. We had a clogged pipe in our AC, and they redid the whole pipe because the old one was too curvy. It also had some wear and tear. He was also very prompt on our appointment time.

Chris was absolutely amazing! He helped us so much and walked us through the process of what needed to be done. He was very professional and understanding. We will use him again for sure!!

Chris is not a professional person. He took advantage of a customer when charging repairs. When I asked him how he can charge 4 times what the repair was worth he said "He can charge that because he wantes to". His business is crooked .

I don't dislike this company as I've had no experience with them. However, I called during business hours at least 10 days ago about a simple check out of my system and have yet to receive a call back. Definitely 1 star in my book.

Chris has been taking care of our heating and cooling for a couple years. He and his guys have done a great job and very easy to talk with.
