I am SO pleased with the entire process from the lady who scheduled my service call to the promptness and knowledge of the technician who fixed my problem. He was very nice and knowledgeable about my system and knew just where to look for the problem and just how to fix it without a bunch of BS. He had the needed part in his service van and was able to repair it immediately to get my elderly self and wife cooling again. He was very professional and courteous. I can’t say enough nice things about this company and their employees. I found them to be very trustworthy and won’t hesitate to use them in future needs!

You can believe the excellent reviews. Tyler Weathermakers is very professional, honest, competitive, and they do outstanding work. They replaced my old system with a Carrier split 2-stage heat pump, and I couldn't be happier. My single point of contact was Michael Downs who not only provided the quote but also lead the installation team who did a fantastic job. Tyler Weathermakers and Michael have my highest recommendation!

I give Tyler Weathermakers and their Comfort Adviser, Michael Downs, above and beyond a 5 Star Rating. Our air conditioner went out in the heat of summer. Michael came and gave us quotes, without sales pressure. We had them replace our old unit with a Carrier 5 ton air/heat with a Home Purifier. They also put in a 1 ton mini/split in my sunroom. Michael was the lead with his installation team. He showed the upmost professionalism, honesty and caring. After job completion, Michael checked on us several times. We are 100% plus, on satisfaction with the units, Michael Downs and Tyler Weathermakers.

Zach came out and gave our HVAC a seasonal tune-up and discovered there was a part that needed replaced in order for the system to function at its best. He was informative and did not pressure us to get this part, but did provide a quote, both for labor and the part. We let him know that we did want to replace that part, and he was able to do it during that visit. He was professional and kind. We were also able to get a quote from them for a full replacement, again without any sales pressure to do so. We will be reaching out to Tyler Weather Makers when we need our HVAC serviced in the future!

It’s always refreshing to work with local businesses that value making the world a better place by simply doing what’s right and offering good customer service. I’ve had frustrating experiences with other HVAC companies and then found Tyler Weathermakers. It’s been a great experience working with them; Mike has gone above and beyond to make my house a better home through the HVAC system. Great customer service, and that old fashioned “doing what’s right” mentality that we miss so much in businesses today. I will be a repeat customer and highly recommend.

We called Tyler Weathermakers because we were having a problem with our AC draining properly. Previously, we had had out another AC company and two separate plumbers. None of them could resolve our problem. We called Tyler Weathermakers on a Thursday and they were all booked until the following Monday so we scheduled for that day. Unfortunately, our leaks got worse and we called back seeing if we could get an opening if they had a cancellation. We were lucky in the fact, Cory, one of their techs, had finished a job early and was on his way out! This was at the end of the day and it was over 100 degrees out. Cory was fantastic! He got to work and started taking off panels and diagnosing the problem. He did more of a thorough job than I had ever seen. Once he found the problem he went to work on it. The problem wasn't solved easily, but he was persistent and finally cleared the drain. He did something two other plumbers and another HVAC company couldn't do or wasn't willing to do. We are so thankful for companies like Tyler Weathermakers. You just don't find them like this anymore. Great job, guys!

Tyler Weathermakers were able to diagnose the problem immediately, which was great because I was getting ready to move into my new house and was worried about having to deal with a clogged drain or something like that. They were able to fix everything within the hour! And they did it without me having to wait around all day. I will recommend their local ac repair service again!

We bought a complete ac system & the yearly service plan. We usually have to call to remind them to service 2x/yr according to their agreement. Then when we called for a repair, we’re charged an after hour service fee, fuel or trip service charge, plus an extra hourly charge … then we’ll see about the repair &/or equipment costs! Better to use a local company, however, if you live in a rural area they know they have you under a barrel. Update: 3.5 hours later after paying to be on a priority list, the part that failed was under warranty. So basically, we paid $200 for a 23 mile trip charge.

Moving homes can be EXHAUSTING, as you probably know! I've tried to avoid it at all costs, but recently got an offer I couldn't refuse, and sold. After moving, I had my own home built and needed four AC's installed in my new home. Weathermakers took care of the entire thing in a super professional manner. Cheers!

Very nice people and hard working individuals. I had them come out to my house and replace my indoor and outdoor units along with new ductwork as I was remodeling my house. Price was well within my budget. Best HVAC company in Tyler, Texas!

The biggest problem I have and have had with Tyler Weathermakers is that they apparently don't have enough service people....I have to wait, without AC, in 90-100 degree heat, with three dogs in the house, until they get to me. I have never had to wait so long for service, and I have never had something go out on a new unit, but that is probably just a fluke....at least the service man said so. I don't like waiting for repair people....in most cases, someone should get right out, but not with this outfit.

10/11/13:

Called for service on my under warranty air conditioner (heat pump) at 8:00am and was told they were short-handed. I was assured that a service tech would be at my location in the afternoon. I called at 4:00pm to inquire and was told that the tech would be at my location shortly. The tech did not show up until 6:15pm and did not have the parts necessary to do a repair and could not get any parts since it was Friday after 5:00pm. I was then told the repair would take place on Monday. I was charged $190.57 for a service call, labor and Freon which only lasted until the following day.

10/14/13:

On Monday morning I did not hear from Tyler Weathermakers. I waited until 9:00am to call and was told by the service manager, Dereck that ?we will get you fixed up today with the reversing valve?. Several hours passed and I did not again hear anything so I again called and was told by the service manager that he was unable to obtain the part needed to repair my under warranty air conditioner and he did not know when he could get the repair done. I reminded the service manager that for the next several humid days it would be raining.

10/17/13:

Tyler Weathermakers finally arrived to repair the reversing valve on my under warranty air conditioner. The service tech (Shawn) arrived at 8:15am and was here just over 4 hours. Shawn presented me with an invoice and stated ?It must be your lucky day because my service manager told me that this was NO CHARGE for today?. I asked why and he stated ?Dereck is working with Goodman on this?. I signed invoice number 61238 which shows no charges what so ever and Shawn provided me with the yellow customer copy.

11/7/13:

I received in the mail today a white copy of invoice 61238 showing I owe $320.00 which I had signed and received the yellow copy for no charge. This amount was forged to the white copy 20 days after I had received the yellow no charge copy. I called and spoke with Dereck the service manager and was told that I should be thankful he did not charge me for the parts (he could not legally charge me for parts as they are under a 10 year warranty) and I should be thankful that he did not charge to add Freon again and that he had to charge for the labor even though I was told there would be no charge. Dereck was completely unwilling to honor what had been originally told to me which was that it was no charge.

The Tyler Weathermakers sales representative measured my house on Monday, July 11, to recommend the size A/C unit required. A new A/C, furnace and power ventilator were installed a few days later. I paid the total amount for the equipment and installation on the day the order was written. The A/C unit performs well. The new power ventilator in the attic was defective -- has vibration accompanied by excessive noise. The ventilator was to be replaced. The sales rep left a message on my home phone that the installation tech had some time (on the same day of his call) to replace it and if I received the message in time, I should call the tech that day and if I did not, the tech would call the next morning, which was Friday. I did not get the message until after their business closed on Thursday so I expected to receive a call Friday morning. No call was received that day. On Monday of the next week, the installation tech left a voice mail on my cell phone around 8:00 a.m. I returned the call at approximately 9:15 a.m and left a message on his voice mail. He returned my call and said he was calling to see if I was home before he came to my house. I told him I was not home at the time but was on my way there and if he was not already on his way to my house, he could come any time he wished. As of the following Wednesday afternoon, no calls or other communications had been received. I called the office the week of August 8 to advise them that I still had not heard from the instalIation tech, and I requested that they call my home phone before trying my cell and that I be called the day before rather than 15 minutes before they planned to do the work. Today, August 19, I called and spoke with the supervisor who schedules service calls. He told me that it was almost impossible to know the day before if someone could be sent to do the work because they might have emergencies to handle first. I can understand the concept of emergencies, but find it difficult to understand the lack of control of scheduling and of communication with the customer. He finally said they would plan to replace the ventilator on Monday, August 22. I had no problem with the purchase or the initial installation. I have used Tyler Weathermakers to service my previous A/C unit and furnace for years and was most satisfied with the service. I hope the same quality of service will be provided for the new equipment.
