1st Call Plumbing & AC

Today SAWS came to my home and said there was a leak on the city cutoff and they replaced it but found that there was also a large leak on the customer side too and after showing me, I realized that this was an true emergency issue and I needed help quick!! I looked at several Companies online and something was making me look again at 1st Call Plumbing. I never done business with them before but I still decided to try them and WOW am I glad I did!! They say first impressions are everything and my initial call with Melissa was awesome! She recognized the fact that I was stressing a little bit and said she would have someone in about 30 minutes that the technician was just leaving another job. I felt so much better after that and then Justin and Jason came out in (I swear like 20 minutes), very professional, they listened to me (without interruption!!) then assessed the issue and gave me options and never once did I ever feel pressured into anything. He showed me and explained in detail how they would tackle this and what to expect, which I appreciated! After digging some of the yard and seeing that this was originals old pipe from the 1940’s, brittle and downright corrosive, I told them it’s an investment and I ok’d the replacement. Now all complete and my wife and I are super happy with 1st Call and already have them in our contacts for our future needs!! Way to go!! A huge thank you to Melissa, Justin and Jason for making our day!! I highly recommend this family business and I will be letting friends and family know about our experience today.

This is the second time I’ve used 1st Call Plumbing, and I continue to be very impressed with their service. They respond quickly and are able to get technicians out in a timely manner. Every technician I’ve worked with has been very knowledgeable and takes the time to thoroughly explain the problem and the solution. Their pricing is also reasonable. They have definitely become my go-to company for any plumbing issues!

I called with an urgent repair need today. The office staff were very helpful and courteous and got me on the schedule for a tech to get to me within an hour. The tech arrived promptly when they said they would be here. After assessing my needs and giving me an estimate, they were able to jump right in and get the job done. Justin was awesome and professional. Work was completed in the time frame they had estimated repairs to take. Thank you for the great service!

I called due to a broken pipe and I wasn’t able to get the water off. They were very helpful and sent someone right away. Greg and Fred arrived quickly and were very knowledgeable and friendly. They got things taken care of, and went above and beyond, even doing an outstanding job applying new insulation for me. I appreciate when the work looks like it was done by a professional! I love my home and appreciate when the pros take pride in their work. They were all very helpful from start to finish. I highly recommend!

I just want to say how awesome everyone is at 1st Call Plumbing! From the moment you call to make an appointment to the plumbers that do the work, everyone is so nice, understanding and ready to help! I've had multiple issues and they came out the same day of calling and fixed what needed to be fixed. I've never never experienced service like this before. With other plumbers, I've had to wait days sometimes the next week for someone to come out. With 1st call Plumbing & AC, they have fair prices and get the job done! Great service from Nate and Steve! When we had an emergency and our water was shut off we needed someone to come out fast. Not only did 1st Call answer on a Sunday they had someone out to us within 20 minutes. Nate and Steve had us back up and running an hour later. Thanks to them we can have our new refrigerator installed tomorrow with no issue. Highly recommend this business.

We recently had a new AC system installed, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. The technicians were incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and professional throughout the entire process. The installation took about nine hours, yet even after such a long day, they still took an additional hour to carefully walk us through the system, explain everything in detail, and answer all of our questions without rushing. Their attention to detail and commitment to making sure we felt confident with our new system truly stood out. We couldn’t be more pleased with the service and highly recommend them to anyone needing AC installation.

Had an emergency leakage in the ceiling, called and they were able to dispatch a tech over within the half hour. Samantha was very professional and empathetic over the phone and koby the plumber was able to diagnose quickly. Would recommend them to anyone that needs a leak or plumbing repair. Awesome service over all!!

Called 1st Call Plumbing with a soft water problem. They kept in touch with me to let me know when workers would arrive. When they came they knew what the problem was, went to work on it and had it taken care of in no time. Very informative, proficient, and knowledgeable. I am very happy about the work and would recommend 1st Call Plumbing to everyone.

1st Call was able to have a team at our house within an hour of my call. The downstairs toilet was overflowing, and my husband was bailing water! Josh W. quickly discovered the problem was not simply with the toilet. Tree review tag grown inside the outside pipes. Josh gave us a quote. We approved the work. And he and his helper quickly went to work. They ran out of daylight and had to finish the job the next morning. We are super happy with the quality of work, The efficiency of the work, the friendliness of Josh and his helper, and the cleanliness

We had a clogged drain issue with our septic system. We called and had an appointment scheduled and were told they would try to come early if they could and they were able to arrive 4 hrs early. The technicians that showed up were Wade and Fred. These two gentleman were very polite professional and courteous. They explained everything from the start and very detailed about the process. They answered every question we had and were even able to help with a water softener issue that we had and were unaware of. After a brief conversation we discovered our water softener was bad and they were able to get us a whole new system without scheduling another appointment or trying to up sell us. They let us know what our options were and let us decide what we wanted. I hope that I don’t have to call a plumber again anytime soon but if I do I will call them. I would recommend them to everyone I know. Thank y’all for the great work.

Nathan and Jacob did an awesome job. They were so prefessional, and gave us options, and were very informative. We are so grateful that they were able to schedule us in immediately especially being a Sunday morning. We will definitely reach back out to this company for any other plumbing needs!

I don't know where to begin. I have had nightmare service threw Elmer's. Bought a whole new AC heat system at 50k with the expectations that I was in good hands and for many years. My heat worked but as soon as I used it my ac wouldn't work. 3+ years now. Luckily I am in South Texas so heat isn't that big a deal. I hadn't used the heat on my new system since October of 2024 and it broke down then. Fast forward to last week and the ice we had and we used the heat and sure enough broken. Called Elmer's it's my fault over 1k to fix. I pay it. They show me video and pictures it's good so I use the heat again the next day and sure enough it's worse...like way worse and I knew it would be my fault AGAIN and at this point I am just done with them. I have had plumbing done with both Elmer's and 1st Call. Elmer's has to make multiple trips to repair same issues and continues to charge more and more, all your fault too. 1st Call gets it done right the 1st time every time. So I am beyond terrified to have to replace a 3 year old system that we spent so much money on. It hurt so bad. But Chris came out and talked with us and even though I am still so upset, he reassured me the whole way. And so far I can not thank him enough!!! You guys saved me. I have been able to have heat set at 67. And ac set at 69. I have never been this comfortable in my house ever. Thank you. Thank you Thank you!!! I appreciate you!!!

We had a bad clog in our main line. Josh and his partner Valentino came out right on time. They quickly took care of the problem and then took the time to let me know there was a belly in the line. They gave me an estimate for a long term solution but suggested I wait and see how it did first because the long term repair was pretty expensive. I appreciated his honesty and his patience. We have used First Call before and wouldn’t use anyone else.

They were my lifesavers last night and came out to fix my water heater leaking (expansion tank) within an hour! I know that's not always possible and they happened to have that availability, but it was a God send and I am very thankful. David was efficient and very honest in their recommendations. Will definitely use again, and my neighbors were impressed as well!

Exceptional service and a quick response. Our water heater went out. When David arrived, he provided a clear and honest assessment and was able to replace the unit immediately. The work was meticulous. They cleaned up as they went and verified that all piping was leak-free. The new water heater is working great—many thanks for helping out so quickly and for the excellent work.

As a result of the 1/26/26 hard freezing temperatures in SA, we had an emergency rupture of some very old outdoor water lines and once the thawing began, we discovered water spraying out onto our backyard. We did a very quick google review and selected 1st Call Plumbing as they we able to come out within 30 minutes. Wade and Toby came out, did an initial assessment, did some temporary patch work to get us through the night. It also turned out we needed to replace our 30 year old hot water heater (no longer in compliance with City Plumbing Code). We ended up needing a new hot water heater, burying some external water pipes, and having some minor fixture work done in a back bathroom as a result of the burst water pipes. They returned two days later (as their schedule was completely full), and did an incredible job. Great communication with us, extremely punctual, and great office staff who notified us once they were on their way. I don't hesitate one bit recommending 1st Call Plumbing.

I have to say the experience that I had with the Goettl Company in general and Jonathan Saucedo specifically was extremely well. First, Goettl informed me that I would have a visitor come to my home way earlier than expected, which deserves a 5-star rating for that. I had placed the appointment from 5-8 pm, but the technician came way before that and that was what I was hoping for. Secondly, Jonathan Saucedo was great at explaining all the facts in replacing a water heater. He was very transparent with the setup, price and warranties. Jonathan even went as far as telling exactly what he was doing, when he was doing it and when he was finally done. This is the third time I have used Goettl to have something replaced or fixed and they never disappointed. I hope to continue using their services in the future.

Replaced my toilet in a timely fashion and even took out all the boxes the new toilet and accessories came in. As well as gave me a rundown of issues with water running in my house.
