Very well.

I have 3 air conditioners and one was not working. When I called to schedule the service, I had also mentioned I wanted to join the maintenance program - they check the coolant, furnace, clean the units, replace the filters, etc. Bowles came out and fixed the unit but the guy said I would have to go buy filters because he didn’t have them on him. I had bought all the filters prior to service which he never put in. He did clean 2 outdoor units but forgot the third. I paid $565 for this and if I hadn’t of signed the contract - I would probably go with another company. I paid for services that weren’t performed!

Replace existing AC heat pump

A/C quit working the night before. I left a message on Bowles after hours service call line at approximately 0900 on Sunday morning. Received a call from the technician at 0930 arranging to come by to check it out at lunch. He showed up at 1145, and based on my description the technician knew exactly what was wrong, and had my house cooling within 20 minutes. Further he didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and stated my system was a quality system and that it should have a 20 year service life. I had some service done by another local HVAC company last year and I was informed that the system needed to be replaced and that he was just band-aiding it. Further I was given an estimate for between 10k-17k to replace the entire system. Needless to say, I figured I was looking at a hefty cost to get it fixed based on what the previous company had told me. Luckily it turned out to be a bad startup capacitor. I will definitely be calling Bowles for any future HVAC needs.

Gave me 3 bids for a new HVAC system = good, better, best.  Had pamphlets showing heat pumps and air handlers and explained differences for the prices quoted.  Extremely professional and knowledgeable.  Explained financing options if I wanted to finance new HVAC.  Gave me time to decide with no pressure.  I picked the least expensive due to budget constraints.  He installed new heat pump and air handler and thermostat.  Tested new system and removed old system.  Ran me through the basics for the new thermostat concerning operating instructions.  I have 2 free check-ups. <br />

Guy gave us a written estimate and the actual cost was the same as the estimate. They took out the old system and installed the new system in one day like they promised.

Four employees showed up promptly, their professionalism, courtesy and experience was demonstrated throughout the whole day. By the end of the working day, everything was up and running. This impressed me a great deal, they had cleaned up very well behind themselves.The extra impression was left to me by the example of one employee, to my knowledge he took it upon himself, and with a stepladder went throughout every existing vent and made sure there was a constant, even air flow. The second day to wrap up cosmetic things, once again showed up promptly, they were done within 2 1/2 hours or less. The main reason why we chose to go with Bowles Heating and Cooling was due to the fact that we had three references who were extremely satisfied with the company.We would highly recommend them to anyone else who needed a/c service. My wife's impression on the second day of one employee was when he went out of his way in fully following up on the use and programming of the high tech touch screen thermostat. <br />

It was a great experience. I was extremely impressed with their employees. They came, knew what they had to do, and started working. They worked all day, took minimal breaks and did not talk/play on their phones. They were very courteous and cleaned up any mess that was made. They took time to be sure I understood how to operate the system. The owner came back the next week to be sure the units were operating properly and that we were satisfied. <br />

<p>One of the things I love about Guy Bowles is his honesty and integrity. He and his staff has installed 3 units for our house and dog kennel. He could have and quot;oversoldand quot; a unit; however, he told us exactly what we needed. A few years ago we decided to put a central heat and A/C unit for our big dog kennel. Because of the cost involved we had a couple of company's bid on the job, one company simply said it couldn't be done, and another bid $2000.00 more than Bowles. Guy told us what we needed and how to make the unit more efficient. In addition, he put 4 air filters in the unit which helps cut down on expense. </p> <p>The last project was a Mitsubishi Slim line for our little dog kennel. I know these guys are BUSY; however, when I called Guy in a panic because of the projected forecast, he was calm and told me not to worry, our new unit was installed the next day.</p> <br />

The Bowles representative aided us in the selection of the appropriate unit to replace our old and worn out one. The workers were prompt, courteous and efficient. They were all career workers for Bowels - no short term bums. The equipment worked perfectly and has solved our air conditioning and heating problems. There have been ZERO surprises or disappointments. We do not hesitate to recommend Bowles Heating And Cooling Inc to anyone. <br /> <br />

They are due to come out to do my spring-summer check-up. They have an actual plan where you would pay three times as much if you call them to have them come out. They have a service plan and they charge $120 every six months. It is a really good service and that includes them putting in the filter. The filter by itself is $50.

They showed up on time and were some of the most professional and friendly perople we have dealt with. Their knowledge and attention to detail were fantastic! I often judge a company based on outward appearances and their trucks and uniforms looked new. It is very obvious this company understands how important it is to provide great service as well as a positive first impression. They gave us the options to choose from basics to top of the line and told us the real bottom line of what we needed (other companies would have sold us a new unit that would not have met our true needs, they tried). After the initial assessment, we spoke with a friend who has a lot of HVAC experience, he told us Bowles was right on target for what we needed to have installed.

We had other options but after carefully considering all of the options, we chose Bowles. Guy was very informative and his crew was prompt in coming by to install our unit. They cleaned up after their work and we have another rep come by and explain the system. They made sure we understood how to work it and that it was working at its best. They are an Excellent company to replace your Air Conditioning Unit.

Bowles is the best Heating and Cooling company I have ever dealt with. I had been experiencing issues with my A/C system (brand new) ever since I had moved into my home. After repeated trying to get warranty service and repair done with the folks I purchased my home from, I turned to Nathan at Bowles. He quickly got to the issues causing my problems and presented all the options to me. I decided to have Bowles replace my system with a Trane. The installation team was awesome and made sure things were correct before they left. I am grateful that I decided to go with them. My home has never been this comfortable.
