Gomez Heating and Air Conditioning have been lifesavers during this scorching Texas summer! Mr Gomez and/or his team have responded to my AC emergencies with same-day service twice now, once for a blower replacement and another time for a failed capacitor. Not only did they get my system up and running quickly, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and charged a fair price. I can't recommend them enough for anyone needing fast and reliable AC repair!

I cannot emphasize enough how much I appreciate, trust and recommend Adan and his sons. Long story short, after the snowstorm back in 2021 he made a repair, the same day, that I had been trying to get a “reputable” company to even give a quote on for over a week. Reasonable pricing, very knowledgeable about his trade and again total trust.

Adan Gomez and his son replaced my AC unit and Furnace. In the process, many issues with prior repairs were resolved. The pricing was very fair and Mr. Gomez was very responsive to my questions. They were quick and efficient in the installation, without any sacrifice in quality. They were very easy to work with.

We needed some duct work in our attic. Adan responded quickly to my work request. He came out to do a walk through, explained all the details of the work, and the quality of the materials that he would use. We decided to schedule the work and were so glad we did! Adan and his crew were there on time, communicated clearly, and completed all the work in less than a day. They also cleaned up thoroughly and hauled off all the old duct work. I reached out to Alex Gomez to service our AC/condenser unit since the previous seller of our house suggested them. They were able to come out the day I called them and they explained to us what required maintenance and what to watch out for etc. which we appreciated. The reason why I am giving them three stars is because prior to starting work we asked them how much would it cost for the service and he told me $90. Once the service was done, they proceeded to charge us $110 and we questioned since before the work it was $90 and after the work done it was $110. They were unable to give us an explanation. I went on their website to take a look to see if there were any pricing to only realize they actually had a promotion during the day of our visit and it was supposed to be $85. We've emailed them twice regarding an update on the price differences and never got a response back. We understand the quality of the work is great but within 30 minutes you cannot change the price on us without any explanation.

Mr. Gomez and his sons are very respectful and professional. He was able to diagnose my furnace problems and able to obtain the parts and repair it in a day. While other companies were giving me wrong information about my furnace warranty. Mr. Gomez is very honest and trustworthy. I recommend his services.

Adan Gomez came and saved the day. Adan Gomez and his son were some of the most professional person I’ve met in Austin. He came within 3hours of speaking over the phone. Very polite and straight forward on the evaluation and repair. He is extremely knowledgeable and was able to tell me that the unit would be fixed the day of. The whole service was taken care of and done within 2hours and priced more than fairly for his professionalism, speed and expertise. I will definitely have him come back every year to do maintenance and diagnosis on my hvac system. I already referred him to 2 other friends too. If you’re looking for someone reliable that will ultimately save you money in the long run he is the man.

I recently moved into a home and realized that the furnace had not been installed up to code. I wanted that fixed and a new smart thermostat installed, so I reached out to Gomez Heating and A/C for a quote. Adan spoke with me over the phone and was able to answer all my questions and provide a rough estimate of how much work had to be done. He arrived the next day, on time, and performed the work with extreme attention to detail. He also pointed out a few other things that needed to be done, all of which were legit finds that only an expert would have noticed and I'm so glad he did. Adan took the time to explain each part of the work as he performed it to satisfy my curiosity. My furnace is now up to code, wires are neatly organized and my new smart thermostat works like a charm. His rates were fair for the high quality work he performed and I will definitely consider using Gomez Heating and A/C for future maintenance.

Mr. Gomez arrived at the promised time, within one hour of contacting him. He quickly diagnosed the cause of the heat pump short cycling, and corrected the issue. He also checked the air handler fan speeds and filter. Will use this company for future preventative maintenance and any needed repairs. Well done.

We utilized Gomez Heating and Air Conditioning to replace our 20+ year old American Standard AC and Heat. Highly recommended by our neighbors. Very professional and the response was great. Came the same day I contacted them and had new AC installed within 2 weeks, from ordering ,to delivery and installation. Tried several others on Austin Energy’s rebate program. Received no response from any others (3) after requesting quotes through their website tools. I suppose the others were too busy making their annoying TV ads. Would have liked to get the rebate, but still happy with Gomez prices and professional services.

Aran and his team are true professionals who are committed to doing a great job. They are extremely knowledgeable and clearly take their job seriously. We bought a new HVAC which they installed. I always wait a little time after purchasing a appliance or other home service so that I have time to see if there any issues. We had our system installed in August and it is running well. We had a couple questions over time getting used to our new system and they were incredibly responsive.

Adan was extremely helpful. He was also professional and respectful by wearing a mask and shoe covering before entering my home. He was very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was going on with my air conditioner. He fixes the problem and I will definitely be using him in the future.

On a frigid SATURDAY morning Feb 6 I discovered my heating was not working. My longtime HAC company works Monday thru Friday only! For the first time, I consulted Angie's List. To my surprise three companies called ME, offering help: Adan Gomez was the first call; was at my home in just over an hour--even sending me a phone message he was 15 minutes away. He diagnosed the [electrical] problem [which another Angie's List HAC guy said it sounded like the problem when he called after Adan agreed to come.] Adan had the repair parts in his truck; checked out my HAC system in about 2 very cold hours in my attic and outdoors! His billing was fair, based on my experience with HAC services. [Frankly I was so desperate I would have paid $1000. Adan--thanks for not gouging me!!!!!] I enthusiastically recommend Adan Gomez if you need HAC services.

Can’t recommend highly enough, he saved our butts during a heatwave when our a/c went out and my warranty company told me a repair guy would be there in a week! A week in 95+ temps with a furry dog was a no go. Enter Mr Gomez - I called him, he said he’d be out in 2 hours and he was right on time. Prompt inspection, immediate repair and part replacement, VERY fair price. Kind and patient guy too. The week after our a/c repairs I referred a family member to him, exact same great experience and immediate repair.
