Haskins Heating & Cooling

Our unit was not using auxiliary heat after the ice storm, Haskins had someone out next day after we scheduled service with a very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful tech. We will definitely use them again.

I woke up this morning to our unit giving an error code on the nest thermostat. I immediately called Haskins as that is who my parents have used for over 20 years. Robert got me an appointment for same day!! Chris (the technician), was absolutely wonderful! Personable, knowledgeable, and just overall a great guy! He diagnosed the issue, and was resolved promptly. I HIGHLY recommend Haskins for all your heating and cooling needs!! Ask for Chris, I know I will in the future! :)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They took advantage of my 70yr old father. Alleged worker took a picture of his credit card instead of having my father pay online or on spot with a credit card reader. Later that day my fathers card was charged multiple times for miscellaneous transactions by alleged worker or workers. Pending a full investigation that will be conducted. Until a further update I recommend not using this company or atleast pay online. So far my father hasn’t received a receipt for his payment as well.

Rod was one of the best repairman that I’ve ever met. He treated me with kindness and was very professional. He took his time explaining everything to me and my husband, and he fixed the problem promptly. I called Haskins to let them know how great I thought he was, but I’m pretty sure they already knew. I will definitely be using this company in the future.

I'm very impressed by Haskins Heating & Cooling. I had a musty smell in my home and had several technicians from other companies come out. Yet, no one was able to solve my problem! I called Haskins and Joe arrived as scheduled, was very professional and knowledgeable, and was able to get to the root of the problem. Thank you, Joe! I'm definitely a new loyal customer to Haskins now!

We've used Haskins for years and have always had a great experience with them! The techs are super knowledgeable and not on commission so you never feel like you're being upsold. Rod, Leo, and Joe are all wonderful!

Chris was great to have out for our service. He took time to check out the unit and we had a weak capacitor, he recommended it I never felt "forced". He also took time to tie up loose wires that were rubbing in the condenser and didn't rush his way through the job. He is now our preferred HVAC tech as a result.

I highly recommend Haskins. We have used Haskins for years. They are always incredibly responsive, accommodating, professional and candid. When our heat went out in the middle of the winter, they had a tech at our house, same day, within an hour. They helped us work with (read: battle) our home warranty company. They have maintained our units and are always quick to respond to any issues. We’ve never had any problems with the work they have performed. Years back, we had a seasonal service plan through the leading chain in our area, but have since cancelled. In our experience, Haskins has better prices, faster response times and better equipment than the big chain companies (we’ve price compared jobs). We will only use Haskins and are quick to recommend them to everyone.

Had good service from these folks in the past, so we called them when our split-level went out, to do some warranty work. All of this was explained over the phone, prior to the visit, down to the make, model, and error code. Once the tech arrived, he did a cursory examination of the unit, then explained that Haskins doesn't service split-level units, even under warranty. He then charged us for the visit and left. We paid a hundred bucks for them to come out and do nothing. The explanation could have been handled over the phone, but then they wouldn't have been able to charge us. Bonus: The folks actually doing the work are charging *less* for the visit, and they're driving further. Edit: Rating changed after the owner reached out. I really believe these are good guys, still.

We had an issue with our AC unit on Thursday, I called Haskins on Friday and explained the situation. Haskins got us on the schedule that day and we were up and running by late afternoon. Thank you

They had a very good price and I got quotes from multiple businesses. They were by far the lowest and seemed the most professional and knowledgeable out of the technicians I talked to as well. They had given me a quote the same day I called and once I agreed they had it scheduled for installation within the same week over Thanksgiving week as well. The 2 technicians were professional and courteous and did an excellent job with the installation and answering my questions. Cannot recommend highly enough. Everything was excellent.

Haskins Heating and Cooling has exceeded expectations in every way! I shopped 4 other companies for a HVAC split system replacement. They were price competitive with the lowest cost alternatives however much more professional in their presale interactions. Their install team was outstanding! Going above and beyond on the little things I wanted done. I give them 100 out of 100 points for their work. The new unit is working as expected and I am 100% satisfied!

We kinda inheritied Haskins, as the previous owner had a maintenance contract with them and had already paid for the spring tune-up. They have been wonderful for us for the last 1 1/2 years. I highly recommend them.

Contacted Haskins this morning (1/15/24) after my heating unit shut down. They provided a technician by 1145 after 4+" of snow was on the ground and roads and 9 degrees outside. The tech (Chris) was GREAT, found the problem and fixed it quickly. I Highly Recommend Haskins whenever you need HVAC service!

I was very impressed with the young man who worked on my heat pump. He was very polite. I’ve been using Haskins for a long time. I’ve never had a problem with them or the technicians. They are very professional and polite. I will continue to call Haskins anytime I have a problem or need my unit serviced.

Highly recommend!!! Got a text with the technician's picture and the time he would be there. Rod showed up exactly on-time. Rod was professional and courteous. I was so impressed by the level of care and detail. While he was there, I asked if he could look at another issue with something complete different than what I had requested service on. We had a great experience having two air vents relocated and a natural gas line run the length of our house. The crew was polite and friendly! They worked long hours to get the job completed as quickly as possible. We will definitely use Haskins H&C again in the future and will recommend them to friends and family.

Haskins did a fanastic job with installing my package unit and new ductwork. They are very knowledgeable and experienced in doing the work right. Additionally, the whole team was professional, respectful of our home, and very helpful in answering questions duing and after project completion. I would highly recommend them to others.

There was no 3-4 hour window, just a 30 min window and he arrived right on time with a text stating he was on his way. Haskins quoted me 1k less than another company to replace my AC unit. The installers, David and James, were polite and finished the job quickly (replacing both heater and AC unit, testing that they worked, and cleaning up all took about 6 hours). They cleaned up after, and you wouldn’t even have know they were there, expect for the shiny new AC unit. Definitely would recommend!

Haskins has always done a good job for us. Installation of current unit was great and service has always been good. Rod comes by yearly and checks my unit and seems very thorough, I have been very happy with the overall service which I have so far received.

After trying three or four HVAC companies over the years and being completely dissatisfied with them, we called Haskins to come and inspect our AC system. Our main concern was the high humidity in the home, even after encapsulating the crawlspace and installing a dehumidifier. Mind you, we had our heat pump inspected yearly (by these previous other companies), and were always charged a $60 - $100 "visit fee" and told the unit looked great. To my knowledge, no work other than a visual inspection was ever done. Then Barry from Haskins came. He immediately noticed that our heat pump's condensate drain was improperly installed and he further suggested that we have our evaporator coils cleaned. It's been 24 hours since Chris came to do the work and 1) our humidity levels are stable and where they need to be and 2) the "stale" smell in the air that we had learned to accept (because no one ever diagnosed or fixed it!) is gone entirely. Finally, we've found someone we can trust!

I Contacted Haskins yesterday about my heat and ac unit not working upstairs. They offered to come out yesterday as long as the bad weather stayed out of our area. I requested an appointment for today. The technician came out and was the same gentleman that had been out a couple of other times. Rod is very very nice, fast, and great at what he does. He had us fixed up in no time. Because of the customer service and people like Rod, we will continue to call Haskins for our heating and air needs!!
