Really thankful 5 Star Charleston came out to fix my AC last week. The compressor was acting up and they swapped it out fast. It’s cooling way better now, no more sweating inside. So glad it’s all sorted!

Turned out a part in the blower motor was shot, they swapped it out quick. Heater’s working great now, actually feels warmer than before. Didn’t take long and didn’t cost a ton either. They explained the problem and the fix and got to work. 5 Star is an honest top notch company in Charleston which is hard to find. We were very pleased and setup a yearly maintenance contract to keep our system clean and a routine checkup every 6 months.

I am happy with the work 5 Star did on my AC unit, which had blown a capacitor and compressor. Mr. Bill clearly understands how these units work, and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. Once diagnosed, he immediately made phone calls to source the needed parts, and arranged to pick them up directly from the manufacturer the next morning. As a result, I was back in business with a cool crib by noon the following day. The work was a bit spendy, but I'm gonna trust that 5 Star is charging market rates. They came out a couple of years ago to check over my HVAC, and they gave me a thumbs up that everything was good, when they could have easily fabricated some bogus repair (which some unscrupulous companies do).
