They told us we needed a new HVAC system to get cold air up stairs . They charged us $30,000.00 saying we needed a powerful unit . Come to find out there was nothing wrong with the previous furnace we just need a mini split which we received quotes for $6,968.00 . When we confronted Calfo they refused to fix the problem or put the old HVAC system Beck . So now we are out all this money and no AC up stairs . The pictures are of the old unit . They also went on to install a high end unit .

He snaked my sink drain. Charged me $429.00 but said he didn?t fix it. To fix it would cost $2,500.00 that I did not have to replace a drum trap and 5ft of pipe. I will not call them again.

I was out of town and my husband called this company to replace a kitchen faucet. We already had the new faucet purchased, so it was just an install. They charged us $502 for an hour and a half of work during normal work hours (and after showing up several hours late). That's $335 an hour for labor! Outrageous and predatory.

We had the pleasure to have Rayan Vos as our lead service technician. He was a gentleman who educated us on what was going on with our system and what it needed to be corrected. He answer all our questions and make us feel comfortable with his work. I would definitely would ask him to work on any future projects.

I had Ryan Vos come out to service my steam boiler he is always a gentleman when he is here and helps me with whatever needs done, he is very professional, and knowledgeable Calfo has been servicing me for years and they are nothing but wonderful i would use Calfo for anything that needs fixed.

Do NOT use Calfo Home Services! We have been loyal customers, spending thousands of dollars with this company, but their recent actions have been unacceptable and dangerous. We called them to address a gas leak, and their technician assured us that spending $2,200 would not only fix the leak but also extend the life of our furnace by two years. After the work was completed, the gas leak persisted. When we informed them, they refused to fix the issue unless we paid even more money. This is completely unacceptable, as their technician failed to resolve the problem they were hired to fix. I am currently pregnant and have a 10-month-old baby at home. This is not just an inconvenience it is a serious safety hazard. Breathing in gas fumes puts my entire family at risk, and Calfo Home Services refuses to take responsibility for their mistake. We will never use this company again. Beyond losing our business for our home, we also own multiple rental properties where we would have used their services regularly. On top of that, my mother-in-law, who we referred to Calfo, was planning to replace her furnace and air conditioning with them this spring. Now, she will also be taking her business elsewhere and sharing this negative experience. It is a shame to see a company we once trusted care so little about their customers safety and satisfaction. Their unwillingness to correct their mistake is a very poor business decision, and it is cost them thousands of dollars in future business. Save yourself the frustration, and go with a company that values their customers and does the job right.

Calfo technicians were efficient, professional, polite, helpful. They texted me as to their arrival time. They wore booties over their shoes to keep my floors clean. They did the work I wanted done well. I am totally satisfied with Calfo!

I helped a disabled friend schedule an emergency job - and Calfo was great it seemed like. They fixed her issue, she paid them, and this should be the end of it, right? Well, they told her that she needed an outdoor french drain, for over $10k. She has difficulty with executive processing, and I mentioned when I called initially that all jobs should be scheduled with me, her proxy. Well, that did not happen. What did happen? They took 100% of the money for this future job and disappeared for a few weeks. She was nervous that she was being taken advantage of, and in that time called other companies that informed her that she did not need the drain. Ok, different people have different ideas of how to fix an issue, thats fine. And she never heard back from Calfo anyway, so I called to cancel and to get her money back. That was over the summer. I called repeatedly. I was told repeatedly that a manager would call me back. This never happened. They would not let me cancel, but would never schedule a time to speak to my friend with me present so it could be handled appropriately. It gets better - a few weeks and we hear nothing (I have cancer - I have my plate full so it is difficult for me to deal with this too), but lo and behold! I get a text that Calfo is coming tomorrow (the confirmation text came at 5pm) to start the huge job! The only problem - they spoke to no one. Last they heard - we did not want this job to be done. My friend was IN THE HOSPITAL so they did not speak to her. They were just going to show up anyway. Thankfully I called immediately, but again, I can't cancel and someone will call. Thats the last I heard until they called again, months later, thinking I'm my disabled friend, trying to schedule AGAIN. They still have my disabled friend's $10k+. I don't think they have any intention of giving it back - they don't call her, they don't call me. And when I ask who an attorney would need to contact at Calfo about dealing with this, as they are never going to work it out with me - NOTHING, a manager will call me! Of course they will. Long story short, Calfo is holding at least $10k of my disabled friend's money and I guess she isn't ever going to get it back. If you read this far, just keep this in mind.
