My neighbor and I send a huge thank-you to Brandywine Valley Heating and Cooling - they took time from doing a job next door to come over with a huge ladder and rescue the neighbor's very- scared cat from way up in a tree. They did it all in good spirits - five stars for the cat rescue service!

We recently had our mini split system repaired by Brandywine Valley Heating & A/C after it was completely fried in a power surge, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. Kevin, the repair technician, did an outstanding job from start to finish. Not only did he get our system back up and running quickly, but he also installed a new surge protector box. The installation looks incredibly clean and professionally done, and it’s perfectly placed on the exterior wall. Excellent service, great workmanship, and a smooth experience all around. Excellent customer service. We had an oil burner that kept switching off. After two other companies "serviced" it with no luck, Rich solved the problem. He knew his stuff and explained everything to us. Also, Philip from service was a great help.

Great prompt service. We have been using Brandywine for years since our original local service company was sold to one of the big firms and became sales oriented. We have always had great techs from Brandywine that know what they're doing and aren't trying to scam you into things you dont really need. The company is fair to their customers and genuinely care about proving great service. They have a customer for life if they just keep doing what they're doing.

Dominic provided a great overall repair experience for our newly installed oil boiler. He listened to my description of the problem, asked pertinent questions and determined how to fix the problem, which was a faulty fuel pump. He installed the new fuel pump and did some other checks and adjustments. At the completion of his visit, he explained to me what he had done and demonstrated how the problem had been fixed. A very professional and satisfactory repair visit!

Joey Misticoni, our Technician - did another thorough and complete inspection of our 2 propane gas heaters, 1 oil heater for our property as well as the addition where our Brother-in-Law lives. Joey is extremely knowledgably and when asked, takes time to answer any questions I have on how our units/systems are doing. Highly recommend Brandywine Valley Heating and Air. They made sure we always had heat during our changeover, were very courteous, answered all of our questions, and cleaned the work area when finished. We’ve been with them for many years and never had a bad experience.

Our recent technician, Kylee was excellent. She arrived on time, was efficient in servicing our geothermal unit and quietly did her work. All of the technicians are good and they are honest. I highly recommend Brandywine Valley Heating and Air conditioning. We have a service contract that is very reasonable so the questions below do not pertain to this semi annual service.

Fantastic team work from everyone involved. Bill & Erik and his team obviously were more visible but I know a lot of back office staff played their part in getting this installation completed. Kylee of Brandywine Valley Heating and AC is the best! She arrived earlier than anticipated to an "emergency" visit and quickly diagnosed/recognized the heater error code and provided the fix. She double-checked her work, was extremely thorough and very pleasant - explaining the issue to me in terms I can understand and recommended things I can do to prevent it going forward. She's a rare gem with tons of potential!

I am the new owner of an old house with a steam boiler heating system. It went down and no HVAC vendor would come out to look at it. Justin from Brandywine could not come out that day but was willing to get on the phone with me to troubleshoot the problem. After several pictures, text messages and a couple phone calls we got the system back up and running. I highly recommend Brandywine for their concern for a potential customer (its cold out) and their responsiveness.

Poor Follow-Through and Overpriced Service I'm particularly disappointed with this recent experience because Brandywine HVAC had previously done excellent work on my HVAC unit, which is why I chose to call them again for my water heater issues. When my water heater initially stopped heating properly, I called and was told someone would return my call to schedule a visit. Unfortunately, no one ever called back. While my hot water issue resolved itself temporarily, this lack of follow-through was concerning. A few weeks later when the problem returned, I called again. This time, the person on the phone was very pleasant and did schedule an appointment promptly. However, the service quality was disappointing. The technician who came out seemed inexperienced with water heaters. They claimed the issue was fixed without actually verifying that hot water was working properly. We discovered immediately after they left that we still had no hot water. After calling again, they did send someone out at no additional charge, but only to inform us that we needed a complete water heater replacement. Given the initial misdiagnosis and lack of expertise demonstrated, we decided not to proceed with the replacement through this company. My main concern is being charged $350 essentially to be told I need a new water heater, especially after the initial "repair" was ineffective. While the phone staff was courteous and they did return for the follow-up visit at no charge, the overall experience felt like poor value for money. I would recommend seeking a company with more specialized water heater expertise for similar issues. The responsiveness after the initial service call was appreciated, but the technical competency and value proposition left much to be desired. Given their previous quality work on my HVAC system, this was a very disappointing experience.
